AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate. |
Bible Question:
What happened at the fall of man and what are the spiritual effects? |
Bible Answer: Adam in open and rebellious defiance of God's direction eat from the forbidden tree. From that point on his spirit experienced a separation from God. We can only imagine the effects of this change since we have not experienced full spiritual communion with God. Upon salvation our spirit once again comes into communion with God, but our fleshly and worldly ties still hinder a complete reunification. We are promised that a total and complete reunification will takes place when the events described in I Thessalonians 4:16-17 take place. I’m very much looking forward to that reunion, what a glorious day that will be. EdB |
