Bible Note: Dear keliy, Thank you for your input. Much appreciated. Concerning the "ruling", I refer to v3:16b "...Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you." God said this after they ate the forbidden fruit not before. If this does not render the idea of ruling power, how should we interpret this verse. Or should it be understood together with preceding one that the desire and love of the woman for her husband naturally posits the ruling power from the man over her?
