Bible Question: So are husbands held accountable if they do not love their wives? Will their prayers be hindered if they follow Jacobs example in his relationship to Leah? What about the command for husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, was that not applicable to Jacob? |
Bible Answer: Hello Montana, Yes, they are accountable. 1 Pet 3:7 (ESV) Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
