NASB Genesis 29:23 Now in the evening he took his daughter Leah, and brought her to him; and Jacob went in to her.
AMPLIFIED 2015 Genesis 29:23 But in the evening he took Leah his daughter and brought her to Jacob, and Jacob went in to [consummate the marriage with] her.

Bible Question:  How is it that Jacob, after serving Laban for 7 years, could have intercourse with Leah and not even realize that it wasn't Rachel that he had laid with until the next morning, as indicated in verse 25?

Bible Answer:  Inquirer
Perhaps love is blind. Or maybe the bulb was burned out.

Think about it. There have been many liasons in the dark of the night where one person thought it was someone else.
