Bible Question: In Genesis 25:27-28 it talks about why Isaac "favored" Esau, but it does not mention why Rebekah "favored" Jacob. Was it because he was the weakest son? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Denise and welcome to the forum, According to John Gill's Exposition of the Bible "but Rebekah loved Jacob; more than Esau, being more at home with her, and of a milder disposition; and more especially being a good man, a partaker of the grace of God, and to whom she knew by the oracle the blessing and promise belonged" prayon |
