Question (full): i've just begun to read the bible and came across two verses that interested me; Genesis 24:2 and Genesis 47:29. in these versus there is mention of putting one's hand under another's thigh to make a promise. i wasn't sure what the significance of this was. so i asked a friend if it was like a pinkie promise and he wasn't sure, he referred me to you guys. he also said that according to God your word is good enough. so since he was kina stumped too. i'm asking yall. please email me back and thanks! -jamie liljamilee@hotmail.com |
