AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden (oasis) in the east, in Eden (delight, land of happiness); and He put the man whom He had formed (created) there. |
Bible Question: Where is Eden? |
Bible Answer: Eden was believed to actually be in Mesopotamia, where the Tigris, Euphrates and two other rivers met as shown in Genesis 2. Mesopotatmia would not be modern day Iran, but now these four rivers do not meet because of Genesis 3, so know one really knows for sure where Eden was located becuase of sin and the Earth's geography changing. |
