AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 2:7 then the LORD God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit]. [1 Cor 15:45-49] |
Bible Question: Did Adam and eve have a belly button? |
Bible Answer: Hi, justducky2! It could be quite a conundrum, if Genesis 2:7 did not depict how we came into existence. Since Adam was created by God, who gave Adam his body then life, and Eve was also a product of creation, when God used parts from Adam to give life to Eve (Genesis 2:21-22), there never was an umbilical cord; ergo, no bely button!
