Bible Question: We hear more and more about cloning. It's already happened in the animal world. Will human cloning be next? How would this impact the Christian community? Should human cloning be encouraged? Legalized? Would a human clone have a soul and spirit? What is your sense of what the Bible may or may not say, explicitly or implicitly, about human cloning? Do you think this is a vital issue for Christians to become involved in?What say ye all? |
Bible Answer: Hank: Even if they do cloning, that person has a soul, not connected to the orginal fron whom the clone came from. That person would still be responsible to God for either being a Christian or rejecting Christ. The medical ethicals is such that even Doctors have problems with this cutting edge expermentation. I am willing to state my opinion, ready for a blast of disagreement. That I do not believe pregnancy started out side the womb, with any mans sperm,or wonams egg, other than the husbands sperm or wifes egg is wrong. For me that amounts to adultery outside the womb. I wonder at what point will mankind admit that rather than God being in control of our reproductive lives, we have gone too far? I say this with sorrow for those who believe other wise. I see that mankind is seeking to become as wise as God, which was from the begining, and always shall be. Cloning is wrrong! To think of another "justme" walking about is more that even I could endure. Now perhaps another Hank? The world might be better off. aagape. justme |
