Bible Question: Hi, I just wanted to know, I started dating a guy about six months ago, He always said he was a christian and believed in the salvation of Jesus Christ, but as I got to know him I began to see his life didnt seem to bare much fruit of the spirit, He never talked to God and knew nothing of scripture except what was taught at his Lutheran church. Since we have been dating I have tried to encourage him more in scripture and developing a personal relationship with God, He struggles alot in doing it although him and his friends have always been at church and sang in the choir, raised as church goers. I just found it so strange that he never got closer to The Lord. But now I gave him purpose driven life to read which is taking him awhile to get through, what Im asking is if he and I are ok to date and if we can both grow together in our Faith. |
Bible Answer: Hello Hadassah..., Since this is a Study Bible Forum, your question is better handled by mature Christians that you know and are familiar with your situation. I'd seek the Lord in prayer (Phil. 4:6)as well as the counsel of either Elders and/or Pastors of your church. Speaking the Truth in love, BradK |
