Bible Question: Shalom. Where does it tell us in the bible of the Israelites becoming the slaves of the Egyptians? God bless, michael |
Bible Answer: Gen 15:13 God said to Abram, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years. 35 Gen 15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates: The account of Abram, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph in regards to the covenant God made with them is one that shows how God was faithful to them and remains faithful today. A character study on each of these men provides great insight into the relationship God has with those whom He keeps covenant. Happy New Year's Michael. |
