Bible Question:
Does the bible say anything about aliens? This may sound absurd but does the bible say that there is only one planet that yields life? Also, how was the rest of the universe created? The bible seems to only cover the creation of Earth. I mean, my school just taught us about the huge parameters of the universe. Earth is just a speck. I don't want to start believing in aliens in other planets in different galaxies if the bible contradicts it. Thanks, soconfusedinthisworld |
Bible Answer: Hello soconfused... There is nothing within scripture that mentions aliens or other life forms. It is a topic beyond what is written, so to say anything else would be mere speculation. God created the universe. Gen 1:6 "Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." Gen 1:7 "God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. Gen 1:8 "God called the expanse heaven. The Bible is not intended to be an exhaustive text about science (or creation), but it does provide the account of creation as written in Genesis 1. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
