NASB Genesis 1:25 God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
AMPLIFIED 2015 Genesis 1:25 So God made the wild animals of the earth according to their kind, and the cattle according to their kind, and everything that creeps and crawls on the earth according to its kind; and God saw that it was good (pleasing, useful) and He affirmed and sustained it.

Bible Question:  God created all living creatures in water and birds in the sky and He BLESSED them to be fruitful and multiply the earth (Gen 1:20-22). He did the same to man as well (Gen 1:28). However, I did not find He gave the same blessing to the beasts of the earth. Did God actually give the same blessing to the animals on earth?

Thanks.
Azure

Bible Answer:  Shalom Azure,
That's an excellent question.
To the 2 passages you used, they separate the different creatures: air and waters and earth.
Man is more than an animal but we are "upon" the earth with the beasts, so it's quite possible that the blessing to man could spill over to anything else that walked or crept UPON the earth...??
This is just speculation, but do you think maybe He didn't bless the beasts on the earth specifically because He knew one of them would cause the havoc that took place after He had finished His work (Gen. 3:1)?
Thanks for setting my brain to task....:o)
