Bible Question:
Gen 8:1 "... and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;" Is the same idea in Gen 1:2 and Gen 8:1 and why not translate the same Hebrew word (Spirit-Wind) the same way in both verses? |
Bible Answer: Thomas, Gen 1:2 and 8:1 Spirit, Wind- Is the Hebrew word rua- Breath, wind, by extension;spirit. Both these scriptures involve God's involvement and watching over his creation. No discrepancy, it's accurate. In Him, lionheart |
