Subject: Please teach me about the Trinity. |
Bible Note: Hi jlpangilinan, You speak of "the one sent". I speak of the One sent. You speak of the man and the son; I speak of the Man and the Son. You write in your profile of the One God, the Son. You also speak of the One God, the Father. And the Holy Spirit is spoken of. You can not understand the Trinity if you have two Ones and a one. Why do you not think of the Spirit as a Person? "And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth." 1 John 5:7 1) "Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" 1 John 5:6. The Greek manuscript goes on and literally says "This One is the *one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ." 2) It continues, "And the Spirit is the *one who bears witness..." 3) The NKJ continues, 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are *one." Jlpangilinan, it is difficult to understand the blend of the Persons in the Scriptures, but there is no doubt that it teaches about the one true God; and the three are one. I know that you wanted me to focus on Mark 13:32. But I say to you, who do you think is speaking in verse 23 where it says "But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance." Whose words will not pass away? From the heart, Ray |
