NASB					2 Chr 15:8 ¶ Now when Asa⁶⁰⁹ heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ these⁴²⁸ words¹⁶⁹⁷ and the ¹prophecy⁵⁰¹⁶ which Azariah⁵⁸³⁸ the son of Oded⁵⁷⁵² the prophet⁵⁰³⁰ spoke, he took²³⁸⁸ courage²³⁸⁸ and removed^5674a the abominable⁸²⁵¹ idols⁸²⁵¹ from all³⁶⁰⁵ the land⁷⁷⁶ of Judah³⁰⁶³ and Benjamin¹¹⁴⁴ and from ^Athe cities^5892b which⁸³⁴ he had captured³⁹²⁰ in the hill²⁰²² country²⁰²² of Ephraim⁶⁶⁹. ^BHe then restored²³¹⁸ the altar⁴¹⁹⁶ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ which⁸³⁴ was in front⁶⁴⁴⁰ of the porch¹⁹⁷ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸.
AMPLIFIED 2015					2 Chr 15:8 ¶ And when Asa heard these words, the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the repulsive idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. Then he restored the altar [of burnt offering] of the LORD which was in front of the porch [of the temple] of the LORD.
