81 | How do we respond to war as Christians? | Deut 7:2 | Radioman | 23719
Martha's exact words were "War is evil." Tell us the book, tell us the chapter, and tell us the verse where the Bible says "War is evil." I know from first-hand experience that war is evil, having been right in the middle of one in 1967. But where does the Bible SAY that? |

82 | How do we respond to war as Christians? | Deut 7:2 | Radioman | 23717
I agree with you. And I know that. That's why I labeled my post as my opinion. Many on this forum post their opinion as absolute fact. I did not do that. I posted my opinion as opinion. When you find the "Truth" about this question, please share it with us, will you? I await your Truth with bated breath. |

83 | How do we respond to war as Christians? | Deut 7:2 | Radioman | 23673
In my opinion, how we as Christians respond to war (for or against) is a matter of conscience -- each individual's conscience. Each man must decide for himself. Both proponents and opponents could support their views by quoting Scripture. And I'm sure someone could quote Scripture to "prove" I am wrong. :-) Well, that's what this forum is all about, isn't it? |

85 | Did Christ not fulfill the law? | Matt 5:17 | Radioman | 22107
casiv: I realize that this is a public forum and anyone has the right to attempt to answer any posted question. But, I suggest that before you attempt to answer questions that were NOT addressed to you, that you first answer questions which WERE addressed to you. Since you are known for answering questions with riddles, for evading questions for weeks at a time, and doing everything but giving a straight answer, perhaps you are not quite ready to take on any new questions. Answer the old ones first. Also, it would be helpful if your answers had some remote relevance to the questions being asked. And how can you accuse or imply that someone else is putting you down when you yourself have spent half your time on the forum hurling curses and judgments at other people? |

86 | Did Christ not fulfill the law? | Matt 5:17 | Radioman | 22106
casiv: You are correct. I agree with you regarding freewill, putting somebody down and Matthew 5:17-19 -- the three subjects all go together like a horse and carriage. To answer your previous post, I can only say: I give up. Why did the chicken cross the road? (If you don't know the answer, it's OK to ask Puppetmaster.) Radioman |

87 | response | Rom 1:18 | Radioman | 22033
Joe: I have been reading your writings on the forum from the beginning. Your points are always well thought out, well researched and well written. I notice that you do not just write off the top of your head. You are thorough and accurate in every factual matter with which you deal. Any dabbler or babbler who thinks he can just waltz in here and with a few "witty" postings refute your points is very much mistaken. On the forum I've said all along that before one attempts to disprove or refute a position, he had better be very familiar with that position in order to write intelligently about it. Bravado and sophistry are themselves marks of immaturity and are no match for a knowledgeable, articulate believer such as yourself. Keep up the excellent, excellent work. Radioman P.S. To attack the razor sharp mind of R.C. Sproul with a dull butter knife is laughable at best. |

Hank: You write: " . . . (animals hardly have a conscience -- though I wouldn't be surprised to see this issue debated on the forum :-)." What saith the Panthera leo strang? How readest thou? All conscience is not the same conscience: but there is one kind of conscience of men, another conscience of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. Radioman |

89 | Marriage to a Catholic? | Bible general Archive 1 | Radioman | 21747
Define advice. What do you mean by wrong? The Bible doesn't speak in terms of right and wrong. It speaks of good and evil. What do you mean a [quotes]Protestant[quotes] church? How about just plain old Protestant without the quotes? "What other things need to be considered under these circumstances?" Under what circumstances? I cannot answer your question[s] unless you are more specific about what it/they is/are. |

92 | "Herodians" who were they? | Matt 22:16 | Radioman | 21505
casiv: Indeed, what ARE you talking about? It is you who are rude and condescending. I agree with Charis, who said, "Please stop the rambling and the curses! Finally, stop acting like you are enlightened, and all of us are ignorant fools." You yourself are guilty of the very same things of which you accuse us. And why do you ramble on an on and on without using one single Scripture reference? This is the StudyBIBLEForum. This is not a forum for rambling riddles. Nor is it intended as a haven for any and every man-made religion that opposes Christ and His Word. If you have any sensitivity and perception at all, it should be clear to you by now that "another gospel" and "another Christ" have no place here and are welcomed by no one. |

Serenetime: You write: "Not treating people in a way where they want to avoid interacting on this forum." If you want to avoid interacting on this forum, you are free to do so. Be my guest. You write: "Your tone and note are quite offensive to me." Your tone is exceedingly offensive to many. This is not a forum for rambling riddles. Nor is it intended as a haven for universal religions who reject Christ and His Word in favor of a man-made doctrine. |

96 | Is it okay for women to wear pants? | Bible general Archive 1 | Radioman | 20880
As far as I know, the Bible doesn't say anything about anyone wearing pants -- men or women. Why? I have no idea. Who knows why the Bible is silent on any given issue? |

99 | Who dose not belive in the TERM Trinity? | Bible general Archive 1 | Radioman | 20672
Colossians 2:9 Again you misquote the Scripture. It does NOT say Jesus *is* all fullness of the Godhead. What it does say is: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9 (KJV) I do not know for sure what topic you are discussing or what your point is. I am discussing the essential Christian doctrine of the Trinity. You either believe it or you don't. You have already said you don't believe in the word Trinity. Therefore, one would conclude you also don't believe in the concept of Trinity. One cannot reject the doctrine of the Trinity and still claim to be a Christian. We could argue all day about words and about what you believe. The bottom line is you either believe in the Trinity or you don't. If you're trying to convince us that the doctrine of the Trinity is false, that is another matter. If that is the case, I would point out to you that this subject, pro and con, has already been the subject of a long, voluminous debate on this forum. I suggest you use the search function to lookup the many, many previous posts regarding Trinity. |

100 | Workout your own salvation | Rom 1:18 | Radioman | 20668
Concerning the Bible doctrine of Election, Election is not fatalism. Nor is it passive. You do err, knowing neither the sovereignty of God nor His power. Apparently you do not understand the Bible doctrine of Election. Your questions and answers seem to be founded, not on the actual doctrine of Election, but upon your limited understanding of the doctrine. This is not to criticize or put you down. My point is it is helpful to know the position you are against, before you attempt to refute it. |
