62 | Prophets in the church | Eph 4:11 | Nevvvvine | 209810
Hi BradK; I fully understand your position, but my question to you was focused on HOW could or would you be able to tell if there was a true profit with the criteria of 100 Pc. 100 Pc. I am in on way saying, that there would or should be things that God has not revealed to us already, because we do have the bible as his word to the Church. Or that God only has new things to reveal to us, but isn't it a possibility that God would talk to the Body of Christ to Edify it? Body of Christ being the true church, the believers that will hear the voice of the good shepherd and not another's, but if you have closed your ears, because of the false Prophets of today, that seems just like the kind of thing Satan would do, to discredit the true Prophets God MIGHT send to us. In your statement, saying you don't believe there are any true prophets today. With that belief how would you know if there were any, I personally believe there were Prophets sent by God, to the Jews before WW2 but many said we don't believe them, God would not tell us to leave our homes, businesses, our lively hoods that our fathers, and grandfathers have worked so hard for, and they died because of that belief. Is this belief something you personally have found to be true, or is it something you have been taught by someone else, or is it a teaching from your religious background up until today? I don't mean to be rude, or put you on the spot, thinking you have to defend your belief, you don't I'm just curious. I myself have come from a varied religious background, and I personally have had a battle of my own to overcome things that I was taught as truth that weren't, those things blocked me from seeing God in a much more clear light. My motto now, and for a long time has been. "Never limit God according to what I believe, because he is always bigger, than my beliefs." Be Blessed Nevvvvine |

63 | Did Jesus heal everyone? | 2 Cor 12:9 | Nevvvvine | 209794
Meta; Look at these, then do a word search on (HEALED) there are more places I didn't list. But it sounds like he healed them all every one. SO your answer would be "NO" Matt. 4:24 He healed them Matt 12:15 He healed them (ALL) Luke 4:40 Laid his hands on (EVERY ONE OF THEM) and healed them Luke 6:17-19 A great (MULTITUDE of PEOPLE) and he healed them all Blessings in Christ Hope this helps Nevvvvine |

64 | Prophets in the church | Eph 4:11 | Nevvvvine | 209793
Hi Brad; If there are Prophets in the Church today, holding them to the standard of 100 percent 100 percent, would create a problem for the Prophet that is prophesying for the first time, or the second time before his first prophesy has been 100 percent fulfilled. Were there prophesies that (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel) gave that were not fulfilled until Christ was born? If so then they would not have been deemed as True Prophets in there own time would they? We have the advantage of possessing the bible to see they were. The question then remains is, how do you judge a Prophet, (by his religious affiliation, age, is he really saved)? See what I mean, all we can do is either believe God still talks to his people (us) or he doesn't. Then it falls into the category of church doctrine determined by religious interpretation of scripture, and we all know, that is not reliable because there are so many different religions. (example) If I said right now, that I had a word of God for the Body of Christ, or thus sayeth the Lord, would you believe me? I firmly believe God can talk to us through Prophets, but only to the Church, I don't put into the same category a word of wisdom, Faith, knowledge to a single person, or group. My understanding would be the whole body. We say about a lot of things, when we want to make our point, that God has not changed, he is the same today, yesterday, and forever. (Except when it is something we personally don't want to believe) because of our religion, then we will find scripture to make our argument, or just declare that the scripture being used doesn't mean what it is saying, or it is only in one place so it cant be true. We have all seen this type of thing happen. Just came into the Forum, saw your post thought I would give my comment on it. Gods Day to you Nevvvine |
