61 | How severe are God's punishments? | Obad 1:5 | ROGER459 | 130627
(1Corinthians 16:22) If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha [cursed at His Return!]. (Rev 20:15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (John 3:18) He that believeth on Him [Jesus] is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God. |

62 | Does God plunge mortals into ignorance? | Obad 1:8 | ROGER459 | 130545
NO! You choose to do it Yourself! Were you born "Knowledegable or IGNORANT?" Of course you were born a 'blank slate!' When Adam and Eve SINNED, their Disobedinece was passed to ALL the Sons of Adam and the Daughters of Eve! When You REJECT GOD AND HIS WORD, YOU become as those in Romans 1:18-25, who changed the Truth of God into 'A Lie!' and their FOOLISH HEART WAS DARKENED! "Their Choice - Not God's Choice as His Choice is Acts 17:30! Thank you!
63 | Does God author the death of nations? | Obad 1:9 | ROGER459 | 130530
Perhaps you should Re-Pharase the Question? Does God ever destroy a particular popole or nation? Please see 1Kings 19:35 and tell me who killed who? God destroyed Sodom and Gamoraha did He not? God told Joshua to destroy every man, woman and child in Jericho! Yet in the other cites, he was aloud to kill the men, but take the women and children. Now to our own country. We killed and destroyed the Native Americans, so we could have their land! The government made over 2000 Treaties and have kept very few. Was that of God, or of American Greed? Thank you! |

64 | How will the Day of the Lord appear? | Obad 1:15 | ROGER459 | 130591
(2Peter 3:10-14) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2Pet 3:11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, (2Pet 3:12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?(2Pet 3:13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (2Pet 3:14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. "AIN'T THEY GOING TO BE SUPPRISED? Thank you! |

65 | How does God judge and who? | Obad 1:16 | ROGER459 | 130529
Please see 1Corinthians 11:28-32, 'some are sick and some are dead!' 1John 5:14-17 'sickness and sickness unto death!' Acts 5:1-11 'Lying caused death!' Hebrews 12:5-11, 'chastening' 1Timothy 5:24-25, 'some sins before hand and some after!' YES, God does judge His People, and does so, to correct and to purne us, John 15, and according to His perfect thinking, "ISAIAH 55:8-9" and His ways. On the other hand, the entire church can sin, as did the Corinthians 1Cor 5, 1Cor 6, and the Holy Spirit through Paul, had to "Rebuke Them!" God reveals how He Works, thorugh His Word, but does not always use the same methodology and timing, for all! He is God and He is Lord! Thank you! |

66 | Should nations own land territories? | Obad 1:20 | ROGER459 | 130531
Only His Nation Israel! From the tigrus river to the nile, is and was deeded to Israel by God! Sould is a subjective term. James has addressed this in James 4:1-5. You may see what the Word has to say, about 'ownership!' Thank you!
67 | Will immortals walk with mortals? | Obad 1:21 | ROGER459 | 130547
Perhapps you should read, Revelation 20:10-to-15 ? Your answer is there! Thank you!
68 | is divorce a sin? | Mal 2:16 | ROGER459 | 131186
Does God hate Divorce? (Deut 23:21) When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. This is you 'Key!' Did you say Wedding Vows to God? Were those vows something like this: For Better or Worse, in Sickenss and in Health, For richer or poorer, 'till death do you part?' Then the Word is clear! (Matt 12:37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. What did the Church do? It is the responsibility for the Church to exercise these verses: (Matt 18:15) Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.(Matt 18:16) But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. (Matt 18:17) And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. Now I know that many people that call themselves Christian violate these next verses: (1Corinthians 6:1-8) Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? (1Cor 6:2) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (1Cor 6:3) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? (1Cor 6:4) If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. (1Cor 6:5) I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?(1Cor 6:6) But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. (1Cor 6:7) Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?(1Cor 6:8) Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. Notice V5, "I speak this to your shame!" The World wants to see how Christians act under adversity, yet many who call themselves Christian do not "Obey the Word!" "THEY USE CHRISTIAN LAWYERS TO DIVORCE THEIR SPOUSE WITH CHRISTIAN JUDGES, BEFORE THE WORLD?" What is wrong with 'that picture?' (1Corinthinas 7:10-11) And unto the married I command, yet not I, BUT THE LORD!, Let not the wife depart from her husband: (1Cor 7:11) But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband divorce his wife. The only exception to this is if your husband or wife has committed Adultery! That is your option according to Matthew 18:8-9. "BUT WHAT ABOUT FORGIVNESS? There are other verses that deal with that, especailly if your husband or wife has not committed adultery or has just plain left you. (1Corinthinas 7:39) The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. (Romans 7:1-2) Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? (Rom 7:2) For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. (Mark 10:11-12) And He [Jesus] saith unto them, Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. (Mark 10:12) And if a woman shall divorce her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. There are more divorces among those that "call the Name of Christ" than among Un-Believers! I will leave you with one final thought: (James 1:22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Please feel free to write me, ROGER459@ATT.NET for more on this subject. Thank you! |

69 | When does wrongly divorced rule apply? | Matt 5:32 | ROGER459 | 129951
1Cor 6 dictates that Matthew 18:15-17 should take place FIRST. Most will violate 1Corinthians 6, by going to Law, before UnBelievers! That is Wrong! See Mark 10:11-12, Romans 7:1-3, 1Corinthians 7:10-11 and 39. Then see DeuteronomY 23:31 about Vows to Jesus, espically Wedding Vows! Thank you!

74 | materials to use to build a church | Matt 16:18 | ROGER459 | 130335
(2Timothy 4:1-5) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; (2Tim 4:2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (2Tim 4:3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (2Tim 4:4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2Tim 4:5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. AND WAIT FOR Acts 2:47 and 1Corinthians 3:6. Thank you! |

FIRST: Read Matthew 18:15-to-19! Then fit your V18 into the Context! Was the Church instructed how to perform "Discilpline" in these verses? Christ was giving the authority for Spiritual Government and how to deal with matters that affect the Church on a negative basis. He, Christ was affirming that authority by the term Bind. Thank you!

77 | Divorce and minstry | Matt 19:8 | ROGER459 | 129917
You must first define Ministry. One does not have to be a pastor or a teacher to have a ministry? Your ministry can start in Acts 1:8 as His Witness and be full in 2Corinthians 5:17-21 and be led by Romans 8:14. Were you a sinner before you became Born Again? Of course we all were. See 1Corinthians 6:9-11. Now define Ministry with these verses, and you have your answer! Thank you!

Mark 10:6 is your answer! Now what else did the Flesh and Satan did to 'ruin humanity?' What did Jesus say in John 4:18 about many spouses? What was the purpose of His question? Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines and they did what to his heart? See 1Kings 11:1-4. God did speak about 'many wives!' What were the three things a King was to do? See Deuteronomy 17:15-20 for your answer! Thank you!
79 | PLEASE EXPLAIN MATTHEW 19:8 | Matt 19:8 | ROGER459 | 129919
Perhaps you should see 2Corinthians 5:18-21, 1Corinthians 7:10-11, 39, Mark 10:11-12 and see if you qualify first! Can you forgive your Wife? Did God forgive you, Mark 11:25-26 ? James 1:22 should be your guide, Thanks!
80 | Does Matthew 19:12 refer to homosexuals? | Matt 19:12 | ROGER459 | 129928
Please use you modern Encyclopedia to find out what Eunuch means? No it does not refer to homosexuals! Where did that idea come from? Not from the Text nor the Context. A verse taken out of Context is a pretext for Error! Thank you!
