41 | Tell me who unties them? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10772
JVH0212: The Holy Spirit is in everyone of us. The Holy Spirit is the power within us, not us. We have the authority to exercise the power through Jesus Christ. Jesus in this parable Matt.24:45-51 tell us that He has given us the same authority he had. So if Jesus can do it we can do it. He has given us the same authority He had. It is not us, but in us Christ (Rom. 13:14). We can only exercise that authority with faith like a mustard seed. The children that are disobedient is generally due to a lack of discipline. Once the child understands the consequence and FEAR the consequences they do listen (I'm not talking about those who lack understanding). When the demons saw Jesus they trembled with fear. We have the same light working in us and it is evident in the spiritual realm through faith. 1 John 4:4. If you want me to elaborate I can but I'm sure you know more verses supporting this. 42 | Tell me who unties them? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10668
Thanks for capital letters JVH0212. Help me understand. When Jesus gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases." (Luke 9:1). Was this authority only to cast them out. Didn't Jesus also tell them where to go once they left that person. If someone had authority over you, you would have no choice but to listen. If you told your child to stand in the corner until I lease you, then surely they would have to stay in the corner. Why? Because of your authority. |

Nothing is possible for them that believe. Where does it actually say we need to plead or apply the Blood of Jesus? Or do you believe that we are to plead or apply the blood of Jesus.
44 | What happens to Christians that die 2day | Matt 7:21 | Appleseed | 10638
Thanks. Building on to the discussion. What happens to those who die today in Christ? Do they go to Heaven or do they remain asleep until Jesus comes?
45 | Are all Christians going to heaven? | Matt 7:21 | Appleseed | 10618
Firstly thanks to all for answering. I do appreciate it so much. I know that not every answer is correct so I rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal the revelation through others. About the my response. I believe that Jesus is the door and doing God's Will is our step through the door. e.g. Parable of the Talents, Parable of the Faithful, Parable of the Evil Servant and of the Barren Fig Tree. But this verse baffles me. If I take the series of verses throughout the Word it does not seem to fit. But nevertheless I seek to understand. The meaning that I think Paul is talking about here is those who stagnate. Accepted Jesus Christ and that is it. Even though we are alive we can be dead through stagnation. If we read the verses leading up to this verse But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; and indeed you do so toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. (1 Thess 4:9-15). After he talks of Christ return. What are your thoughts? |

Then why did Paul say, "I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." 1 Thess. 4:13-14
47 | Are all Christians going to heaven? | Matt 7:21 | Appleseed | 10598
Will all people who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior go to heaven? Jesus is the door into heaven, and doing the Will of God get us through the door. Is there another view.
48 | No speaking in tongues, no Holy Spirit? | Acts 2:4 | Appleseed | 10328
If a person does not speak in tongues does it mean they don't have the Holy Spirit in them? I know that speaking in tongues is a gift but is there another view?
49 | Tell me who unties them? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10308
Satan is an angel and therefore not omnipresent. He can only be in one place at a time. Do you think satan will come near those who have authority? He is stupid but not that stupid. He will rather send his henchmen
50 | Tell me who unties them? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10307
Who says they are unbound? Do we think that only 1000 or 1000 000 or 1000 000 000 exist? Do we think that only 1 or 2 exist around a situation? We are only limited to our belief, for nothing is impossible to them who believes. It is unbelief that unties them. Let's not protect demons any more, let's bind them with the fruits of our lips done in faith. Then Jesus touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." (Matt. 9:29) |

51 | Spiritual | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10248
I love you all. I write this is pure love. I agree that Matt 18:18, is related to the church, body of Christ. I never said it was not. My previous message builds, adds, on Abrahamic covenant that we have through Jesus Christ. And it states that the spiritual world exists, we have the authority of darkness (as per my previous message), and therefore we can bind demons. I think this is the point that most find difficult believing. If you don't believe you can bind them in the Name of Jesus Christ, then you are right, you cannot. If you believe you can bind them in the name of Jesus Christ then you are right too, you can. Jesus said, All things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23). “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matt. 19:26). With God, is the operative word. So believe in Jesus and believe His Word. Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do” (John 14:12). Believe it or not, we have the authority over the spiritual world and we will be measured in what we do with it. To summarize a quote taken from the Young’s Literal Translation Jesus said, “And I also say to thee, that thou art a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it; and I will give to thee the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens.” (Matt. 16:19 - YLT). Note some translations say Heaven, the Literal Version says heavens. It refers to the spiritual realm. How do we loose and bind demons? With our tongue, consciously or idle words (Lev. 5:4-6, Jer. 44:25, Prov. 13:3, Prov. 18:20-21 etc). If I don’t believe, then they are loosened with my words. If I believe, then they are bound with my words. David said, “I believed, therefore have I spoken” (Ps. 116:10). There is power in our tongue. That is why it is so important to do everything in the Name of Jesus Christ (Col. 3:17) Jesus said, “I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matt. 12:36-37). Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing (James 3) Read a book called, “A Divine Revelation of Hell” by Mary K. Baxter. Forever young in the Vine Me (Your brother in Christ) |

52 | Binding and Loosing power over darkness? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10135
We live in a physical and spiritual world (literally). So building on the covenant right that we have through Abraham. The covenenant blessing is splits in to, both Ishmael and Isaac. Both were blessed, so what was the difference between the covenant that God made with Isaac and the one He made with Ishmael? Surely blessings is part of the covenant. Ishmael will be blessed and will be mulitplied (Gen. 17:20), Isaac will be blessed and will be multiplied, but the difference is - the descendants through the seed of Isaac shall possess the gates of their enemies (Gen 22:17). Jesus is that seed through which we possess the gates of the enermy (Heb. 11:18). It is only manifested through those who accept the seed, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. No longer shall we possess but now we do possess. So Christians have authority over the spiritual world (Luke 10:19; Col 2:10-15). For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age (Eph. 6:12). So through Jesus Christ we have victory and authority over all principalities. Why should the spiritual world listen to us? because at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth (Phil. 2:10) and because He greater who is in us is greater those he than is in the world (1 John 4:4) satan deceives many with apparent power. We have the authority over him and his henchmen. So command them to leave, demand seven fold return when they steal and bind them. It is our right as a Christian. I pray that the Holy Spirit gives all the full revelation of this message. Amen and Amen |
