21 | Do we tithe on our net or gross? | Mal 3:8 | Appleseed | 22597
Johnny, Jacob had nothing to loose, yet he gave God a tenth of all. Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21so that I come back to my father's house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God. 22And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God's house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You. (Gen 28) |

25 | What is the Sea, Death and Hades? | Rev 20:13 | Appleseed | 17715
Hi All, Is the sea is refering to those who are dead and are on earth (being the gulf between heaven and hell)? Is death a place or a state of being? From this passage it suggests it is a place. Therefore why is it different to Hades? In other words, what is the difference between death and hades? Please back with scripture I appreciate your input, God Bless You |

27 | Could the books ref 2 books of the bible | Rev 20:12 | Appleseed | 17712
Hi Brother Nolan, A question - Surely God will use His Word to judge the works of the people. The books could also refer to the books that were Holy Spirit inspired, like the books in the bible (prophetic books, laws, etc.). Use those books to measure "according to their deeds". |

28 | Can we eat medium rare meat or not? | Acts 15:29 | Appleseed | 16914
Hi all, Can we eat medium rare meat (like a steak) or not? What does the Word say and what are your thoughts? Here is an extract Do not eat or drink anything that has the blood of an animal still in it, e.g. blood pudding (1 Sam. 14:34). Do not eat rare, medium rare or medium cooked meat because the meat still contains blood. “Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it.” (Lev 19:26 NIV). The blood needs to be cooked so that no more life left in it, so rather eat well done meat. Try to eat kosher meat. “Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat… You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD” (Deut. 12:23,25). God told us directly and plainly “do not eat the blood”. Paul confirmed it in the New Testament, “Abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.” (Acts. 15:29). So do not be deceived by your own understanding. God said, “Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good” (Is. 55:2). |

29 | Can we be baptised on behalf of the dead | 1 Cor 15:29 | Appleseed | 12948

30 | Why is Psalm ref. verse different? | Heb 10:5 | Appleseed | 12119
Hi Nolan: Are you saying, figuratively, in the case of a human body, the ear is the receiver. When God spoke things into being, the thing He spoke too, received the Word and it came into being. The ear being symbolic of the human body? |

31 | Why is Psalm ref. verse different? | Heb 10:5 | Appleseed | 12079
Hi all, This passage is refering to Psalm 40:6 where it says, "Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required." So why then does Heb 10:5 say "BUT A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME"? |

32 | Tell me who unties them? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 11116
Hi Ed: I'm moved. I forgave you the instant I became upset. The Lord and I spoke this morning about this. So I know that you have been lead by the Lord to write this. Thanks for being open to the Lord. And I am glad that we serve the same Almighty God. I too have seen and experienced things where most will not believe if I told them. The power and the victory that we have through Jesus Christ is so overwhelming that if I use the logic of my mind to explain, I cannot. But if I use the Word of God, I can with the help of the Holy Spirit. Thanks again for your humility and openness to the truth. I look forward to a lot more productive insights. God Bless |

35 | Tell me who unties them? | Matt 18:18 | Appleseed | 10986
As the previous mails stated we have the authority through Jesus (don't argue with me read the Word). Only when we are in the vine. And to your question, yes we can do all the things Jesus did if we believe and are equipped. The word of God is not a magic show. As Jesus said there needs to be a purpose behind the request and it needs to be in the Will of God (in other words benefiting the kingdom of God). Jesus has given us the authority, if you believe it or not Christians have the authority. I will still command demons to leave and tell them where to go and how long they will stay there for. One day in the rapture, we will see. Jesus said, If you ask me "anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:14). Anything means anything. Your messages are not helpful but sarcastic, is that showing love. Let's agree to disagree and end the discussion here. |

What version are you look at. 45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48But if that evil servant says in his heart, "My master is delaying his coming,' [1] 49and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
