45 | DOES GOD AGREE WITH CREMATION | Bible general Archive 1 | tomn | 40866
GOD'S WILL for us in anything is clear. At least in WHY we are to do anything. Which is to glorify Him. So the most important question is: Why try to improve on God's plan for how we are to return to dust? Which plan we see in nature is burial. Maybe because we show our immaturity in wanting to do it the easy way instead of the best way.

51 | Meaning of Spirit filled | Bible general Archive 1 | tomn | 40571
MDD344, all the evidence I need is your own words to show how confused you appear and who you are really. Such as "careful textual fideity",which produces ideas like 1 plus 2 equaling 4, does not come from knowing God's Love and Grace to you to show you true textual fidelity. For then you will know that expecting evidence or an apology when you say you will not reply, makes less sense then His senseless Love for us.
52 | Meaning of Spirit filled | Bible general Archive 1 | tomn | 40438
I agree we are going no where I want to go. So I do pray God gives you the Grace to want His truth more then the thrill of beating someone into submission of letting you believe what is wrong by being willing to say whatever is needed to do so, without caring whither or not what you say is true.
53 | Meaning of Spirit filled | Bible general Archive 1 | tomn | 39990
theo, what most offended me was not the word but you thinking yourself better then others who are offended by the word. However, I do thank you for the recanting. Your answer to my other question seems to be you find it hard to change or that you believe Spirit fullness is a black or white deal. So that either you are an unbeliever with the Spirit totally quenched or you have mountain moving faith because the Spirit is totally free in you. Which I don't accept and so hope you can see why its not a good answer. |

60 | How can the Bible be "objective" truth | Bible general Archive 1 | tomn | 38355
Wak, the "objective" Heaven is ONLY for those who "know" the 2k yr old man we call Jesus as alive TODAY as our Lord and Savior. Which I believe Makarios also believes. So if you do not "know" this objective truth before you die, you will NOT go to Heaven. Also, how do you know that H2O is water? Some how you can see the atoms and how they are put together? Or do you have "faith" in the Science you have been taught or use? What do you think of those born blind not believing in sight?
