41 | At what moment do we go to heaven? | Eccl 12:7 | kw5kw | 155674
Greetings Steve. Unbelivers can range from: DON'T EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT GOD! to Please tell me more. My brother-in-law... does not wish to see me anymore because he's so afraid that I'll even mention the "G" word to him. My son-in-law... never been to church, swears he never will. I am going to tread gently in my witnessing to him. My other daughter, however, is soaking all she can in about God. Funny thing, the daughter who is married to the one who has never been to chruch is the one who's been saved. My older daughter hasn't been saved and she's soaking it up. Go figure. Each person is different, Steve, I know a guy who used dope every day for 20 PLUS years, he now professes to be a beliver in God... praise the LORD! Do I stand on the street corner giving my testamony, not yet, maybe I should... :) I actually have found that so-called Christians are far more critical, however, of things that they don't belive in, such as: taboo subject here A Vs. C... or CoC Vs. everyone else on baptism saves. We argue amongst ourselves much more than we argue against anything else. To me that is sad! Russ |

Thank you for the speedy reply brother Tim, and if I offended i surly apologize, for that was not my intent. I was 10-10ing... from 1Co 10:10 "And do not grumble..." After reading this forum for a while and seeing all of the post about not posting scripture, well, I am sorry, I had to post, and this was the first post for me here in some time. Seems that every time I post something here, I get flamed. Here I go 10-10ing again. Sorry, you just happened to answer. I humbly beg your forgiveness and that of the fourm in general. I will say this, until one experiences something, one can not honestly comment on it. I've never riden on the Space Shuttle, but I have talked to it. I can tell you what that is like to talk to the shuttle, but I can't tell you what it is like to ride the shuttle. All I can do is marvle at what it might be like to take that ride. Unless you've talked to the shuttle you can marvle that I've talked to them. But it's as valid an illustration as I can come up with at the spare of the moment. I will also assume that you've never ridden the shuttle as well. I have talked to Jesus, I can tell you about that. I have taken a short ride with Jesus, I can tell you about that. All you can do is marvle at my talking to the space shuttle, riding on the space shuttle, my converstaion with Jesus and my short ride with Him. Does that make me better than you ... NO absolutely not, for we're all the same in Christ. I can however, share my expierence with you just as Paul shares his expierence with us in the books that he left us... The books we call the New Testament. I've not only marvle at Paul, but can understand 2co12. I understand the 'skolops' that he is refering to. You know that is the only time that 'skolops' is refered to in the NT. I hope you understand my illustration. I am your brother in Christ. Russ |

Greetings Brother Tim. I see that you're a pastor. How do you preach? Do you give illustrations? Do you solicit testamony from those in your congregration? Go they go like this? I was a disbeliver, I was lead to read the Bible, I'm saved. Thank God What led them to read the Holy Word of our LORD? Somebody had to witness to them, to bring them the grandest testamony of all times, the NEW Testament. My testamony is that God did save me. Jesus did indeed push me back, and that by testing not only what I say but how I say it by scripture, knowing 1JO4:1-4 when I say that Jesus is the Son of God in the Flesh, do they say that on these television shows that you mention on the SiFi? No that's all SiFi. Unbelivers are HUNGRY for something. I was starving. God came to me, I didn't go to Him, He knew I was hungry. He told me that I was His, that He loved me. I'm no longer hungry. The Holy Spirit dwells in me. He guides me. Just as the Bible says, it's true. When I go to church, my pastor gives a few samples of scripture, then he speaks a sermon. When I read Spurgeon, one scriputre is listed at the front by Book, chapter, verse. There are many others in there, but just not listed by book, chapter, verse just quoted. I feel, that if you are indeed a servant of the LORD GOD, then you will recognize my passages without me posting them all for you. I recognize them when I read them in my Spurgeon, I can look them up, I can test them. When I post, some of my posts are nothing but scripture, but would you preach a sermon from nothing but quotes out of the scriptures. I just think that people get a bit puffed up and hughty on these forums, thinking that every word is/should be a quote out of the holy Word. I know that GOD is a living God. That He speaks to us today. While the cannon of Scripture is sealed, His work is not done. Russ |

A bit more... I've been met with more dis-belief and scorn from church going, supposably Bible-reading Christians than I have met from unbelievers. Unbelivers listen, and want to understand. It helps them understand that there is indeed a God, that He is indeed very real and is there for US! Why can't so-called Christians, who are supposed to have knowledge of such things, understand? Could it be that Satan, while setting on their shoulder, whispers in their ear; "You don't believe that, here's scripture that says you shouldn't..." Could that be possible? I say it is. What I say is scriptural... check it out... test it for yourself... test everything. 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. That Satan makes you think that he is of God, and his little whispers make the belivers dis-believe testamony. Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Satan will bend anyone's ear to some facts and away from others. Satan knows the scriptures and how to used them. He knows the hows and whys to point many away from the truths. Just enough away to make it look bad. So you must test everything for your own... Test what I'm typing. Know this test this: Jesus is the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, who lived as flesh on the earth, who died for our sins, shed His blood for the redemption and our salvation. An evil spirit can't write (say)((type)) that: 1Jo4:1-3 |

question everything by scripture, that's what we are taught. However, having a near death expierence myself, I can be very understanding as I understand. I've been there. I share my expierences, and have been met with dis-belief and scorn as well. I understand the hurt that your are being felt by these haughty people who are puffed up on their own pride, for they haven't felt their 'skolops' in their side like I have. Peace be with you Bows44 and hopefully you'll beable to influence many with your testamony, for if we're not to tell of our testamony why are we to be witnesses to the greatest testamony of all, the gospel. And why this isn't found in scripture... "If the shoe fits, wear it." Your brother in Christ. |

46 | Opinions of J. Falwell on WTC attack. | Rom 3:23 | kw5kw | 152506
Greetings Mark, I agree with you... especially in his self-praise. 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (NASB) same words in the NIV: 15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. the key word here is boasting... pridefull boasting. It is of this world... with world being Satan. pridefull boasting is of Satan Russ |

47 | Therefore get wisdom, (what is it?) | Prov 1:7 | kw5kw | 147319
Wisdom is God. God living inside you gives you wisdom. How does God live inside you... the Holy Spirit. Follow this for a minute. Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. and Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me [wisdom(from verse 1 in this chapter)] in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. Pro 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. Wisdom is the Word which is Jesus which is The Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) which is God. |

49 | Does this refrence the tyrant Mezentius? | Rom 7:24 | kw5kw | 147275
I dissagree: Here's my thoughts. Before you ask why did I ask if I knew, well I wanted to stimulate discussion. Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (KJV) Why did Paul say this, and what does it mean? Where did this come from, the carrying around of dead bodies? What don¡¯t we know? Philo the Jew(1) represents the body as a burden to the soul, which ¥í¥å¥ê¥ñ¥ï¥õ¥ï¥ñ¥ï¥ô¥ò¥á, "it carries about as a dead carcass, and never lies down from his birth till his death¡¦" The apostle Paul wanted to be a regenerated man. The whole of Romans chapters 6 and 7 is about sin, the death of sin, and how to be re-born in Christ. Paul¡¯s passionate account is finished more impressively by his groans of sorrow. ¡°O wretched man that I am!¡± These groans could be very reminiscent of a captured wounded soldier. One who has been having a prolonged and useless conflict against innumerable hosts and irresistible might! A man, who was finally wounded and lastly taken prisoner, and, to render his state even more miserable, not only is he imprisoned, but he is also chained to a dead body; for, that seems to be the allusion here (2)(3) . An allusion that refers to the ancient tyrant Mezentius (4) and the torture that he inflicted on criminals, namely murders. This punishment was to fasten the murder victims to the back of the murder. This dead body was never to be removed, under penalty of death. The living murder had to then carry his victim around with him everywhere he went. The Roman poet Virgil (70-19 BC) illustrates this atrocity in all its horrors, in the account that he gives of the tyrant Mezentius. What tongue can such barbarities record, Or count the slaughters of his ruthless sword? ¡®Twas not enough the good, the guiltless bled, Still worse, he bound the living to the dead: These, limb to limb, and face to face, he joined; O! monstrous crime, of unexampled kind! Till choked with stench, the lingering wretches lay, And, in the loathed embraces, died away! (5) Paul refers to his old dead self as the dead carcass, stinking and loathsome; and is referenced by him like the punishment just mentioned. Paul emphatically referred to the dying of the woman to the first husband, for example, the body of "this death", referring it to the captivity of one¡¯s mind and attaching it to the law of sin, which was like death to him. No wonder that he wanted deliverance so badly, saying, "who shall deliver me?" In which he speaks not as being ignorant of his deliverer, because he mentions Him with thankfulness in Rom_7:25. Paul knows that he does not doubt or despairing for his deliverance, for he was very much assured of it. He, therefore, gives thanks, to God, beforehand for it. It was as if he was first expressing the inward soul searching. In doing so he was breathing hard, panting. Afterwards we find the earnest, deep-breathing of his relaxed soul. It is as if he was declaring the impossibility of deliverance being obtained by himself. He knew he could not deliver himself from sin. He knew that the law could not deliver him from sin. He knew that none but Jesus could deliver him from sin. And, which he believed, nay, he had faith that Jesus would show His ever-loving agape Grace to Paul and thereby saving him forever and ever. 50 | Partly under the Law? | Col 2:14 | kw5kw | 146209
I agree with you, here is just another look at: The Ten Commandments Exodus 20 Jesus did not overthrow the Law of Moses. Remember what Jesus Said: Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Here are The Ten Commandments as pulled from Exodus 20 and compared to what Jesus and Paul said in the New Testament. 1. Exo 20:3 No other gods before me: Matthew 4:10 Then said Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 2 Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image (idols): Paul said: 1Co 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. 3 Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: Jesus said: Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: 4. Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. : Jesus said: Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day. 5. Exo 20:12 Honor thy father and mother: Jesus said: Mat 19:19 Honor thy father and thy mother 6. Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill: Jesus said: Mat 19:18 Thou shalt do no murder, 7. Exo 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery: Jesus said: Mat 19:18 Thou shalt not commit adultery 8. Exo 20:15 Thou shalt not steal : Jesus said: Mat 19:18 Thou shalt not steal 9. Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. : Jesus said: Mat 19:18 Thou shalt not bear false witness, 10. Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's. : Romans 13:9 Paul said: Thou shalt not covet. Therefore the 10 Commandments are still with us today in full effect, either in the old covenant or the new one, they are still in effect. Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Russ |

Greetings to the entire forum: [SOAPBOX] In as far as I participate in many, many forums from automotive cars/parts to several forums on XM and Sirius satellite radio to several on Bible studies and even a few on the new digital television services. I can’t understand why we (regular users of any and all forums) have so little regard for new users on any and all of them. Background: As a FORTRAN programmer since the early ’70, and a personal computer users since 1979 and as an internet user since 1989 when I used a 300 baud modem (that’s right 300 baud, not a Mega baud DSL/Cable/T1 speeds but a “see-every-letter-typed-as-they-are-typed” 300 baud acoustic telephone modem that you would see if you rented the movie “War Games”) along with a Radio Shack 8088 computer running at 1 megahertz and a total of 640 Kilobits of RAM. Using said equipment to discuss wither or not Captain Picard was going to become a full blown Borg the next season, during the first run of Star Trek the next generation, I just can’t ever get over the hateful nature of people on newsgroups / usenets / forums can be. For instance: Go to www.xmfan.com and click on search. Type in “which better Sirius or XM” and you get over 4,400 hits. Who wants to read through all of those? I don’t, neither does anyone else. But If you come over and start a thread about which service is better, look out brother, you will get exactly the same response that was given here: ”The topic of the two natures has been discussed on this forum so much that most don’t want to rehash it again.” Well so what? We get new users all the time, what does that say to the new users. To the new users of satellite radio, to the new purchasers of Ford or any other make vehicles, or of our beloved Christ? It speaks very poorly of the attitude of the people who inhabit such forums. It might just be the deciding difference if somebody wants to buy a Mustang or a Monte Carlo. It could be the difference between becoming an atheist or a Christian! Our careless attitude might just give some people the reason that Satan is indeed giving them to turn their back on our Glorious Saviour, Jesus Christ. We don’t need that. For instance; if you asked on alt.tv.tech.hdtv about the benefits of COFDM because you don’t know about the benefits or disadvantages of COFDM, you would find you only had one friend. His name’s Bob. Everyone else would scold you out of the newsgroup. But, you, my friend, really want to know if there is an advantage to COFDM. Guess what, nobody will tell you, because “The topic of the CODFM has been discussed on this forum so much that most don’t want to rehash it again.” What does it hurt to tell new people what they want to know. We might all learn something new in the process. If you’ve discussed a certain topic, ignore the thread, or help the new convert. I’ll tell you that most satellite radio users prefer XM over Sirius, VSB 8 is the type of modulation used in the United States for the new digital television service that will replace the analog signals in just a couple of years while CODFM is a type of modulation used in the new Digital Television in Europe. Bob lost a lot of money when VSB-8 became the standard for the United States. I can tell you that there is no such thing as a 1964 ½ Ford Mustang, they are all sold and titled as 1965’s and I can tell you that Captain Picard did not become a full blown Borg on ST-TNG. These alone are just a few of the taboo subjects on other forums. To keep in spirit of this forum, Least we remember what Jesus said in Mat 7:7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” And in the words of Forest Gump, “That’s all I gotta say ‘bout that.” Thanks for the [/SOAPBOX] Your Brother in Chris, Russ |

52 | One born of God cannot sin? | 1 John 3:9 | kw5kw | 145044
These are all quotes from Watchman Nee's book "A Normal Christian Life" copyright 1977 Chapter 9 "Romans Seven" pages 155-162. "WHAT THE LAW TEACHES Many Christians find themselves suddenly launched into the experience of Romans 7 and they do not understand why. They fancy Romans 6 is quite enough. Having grasped that, they think there can be no more question of failure, and then to their utmost surprise they find themselves right in the midst of Romans 7. What is the explanation? First let us be quite clear that the death with Christ described in Romans 6 is fully adequate to cover all our need. It is the explanation of that death, with all that follows from it in chapter 6, that is as yet incomplete. We are still in ignorance of the truth set forth in chapter 7. For Romans 7 is given to us to explain and make real the statement in Romans 6:14, that: "Sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace." The trouble is that we do not yet know deliverance from law. What, then, is the meaning of Law? Nowhere in the New Testament are men of faith told that they are to keep the Law; but it does say it the Law was given so that there should be transgression. "The law came in ... that the trespass-might abound" (Rom. 5:20). The Law was given to make us law-breakers! No doubt I am a sinner in Adam; "Howbeit, I had not known sin, except through the law: ... for apart from the law sin is dead ... but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died" (Rom. 7:7-9). The Law is it which exposes our true nature. Alas, we are so conceited, and think ourselves so strong, that God has to give us something to test us and prove how weak we are. At last we see it, and confess, "I am a sinner through and through, and of myself I can do nothing whatever to please holy God." No, the law was not given in the expectation that would keep it. It was given in the full knowledge that we would break it; and when we have broken it so completely as to be convinced of our utter need, then the Law has served its purpose. It been our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, at in us he may himself fulfill it (Gal. 3:24). 1ST THE END OF THE LAW In Romans 6 we saw how God delivered us from sin: in Romans 7 we see how he delivers us from the Law. Chapter 6 shows us the way of deliverance from sin in the picture of a master his slave; chapter 7 shows us the way of deliverance from the Law in the picture of two husbands and a wife. The relation between sin And the sinner is that of master to slave; the relation between the Law and the sinner is that of husband and wife. This picture is not drawn by me but by the tie Paul. The first husband is the Law; the second husband is Christ; and you are the woman. The law requires much, but offers no help in the carrying out of its requirements. The Lord Jesus requires just as much, yea more (Matt. 5:21-48), but what he requires from us he himself carries out in us. The law makes demands and leaves us helpless to fulfill them; Christ makes demands, but he himself fulfills in us the very demands he makes. Little wonder that the woman desires to be freed from the first husband that she may marry that other Man! But her only hope of release is through the death of her first husband, and he holds on to life most tenaciously. Indeed there is not the least prospect of passing away. "Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass ay from the law, till all things be accomplished" (Matt. 5:18). The Law is going to continue for all eternity. If Law will never pass away, then how can I be united to Christ? How can I marry a second husband if my first husband resolutely refuses to die? There is one way out. If he will not die. I can die, and if I die the marriage relationship is dissolved. And that is exactly God's way deliverance from the Law. The most important point to note in this section of Romans 7 is the transition from verse 3 to verse 4. Verses 1 to 3 show that the husband should die, but in verse 4 we see that in fact it the woman who dies. The Law does not pass away, but I pass away, and by death I am freed from the Law. Let us realize clearly that the Law can never pass away. God’s righteous demands remain forever, and if I live I must meet those demands; but if I die the Law has lost it’s claim on me. It cannot follow me to the grave." These were Watchman's comments, not mine, but I thought they were relevent. Russ |

Luk 1:39 And Mary arose in these days and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah; Luk 1:40 and entered into the house of Zacharias and saluted Elisabeth. Luk 1:41 And it came to pass, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit; Luk 1:42 and she lifted up her voice with a loud cry, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Luk 1:43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come unto me? This proves that the fetus indeed does have a soul! Your Brother in Christ, Russ |

Greetings Kalos Deuteronomy 32:51 This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. 1 Samuel 14:33 Then someone said to Saul, "Look, the men are sinning against the LORD by eating meat that has blood in it." "You have broken faith," he said. "Roll a large stone over here at once." 2 Chronicles 20:20 Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful." Isaiah 26:2 Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith. Habakkuk 2:4 "See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright- but the righteous will live by his faith Malachi 2:16 "I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself [ Or his wife ] with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith. Matthew 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, “I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. Matthew 8:26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. Matthew 9:2 Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” Matthew 9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment. Matthew 9:29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”; Matthew 14:31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” [ Some manuscripts you. 21 But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.] Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Mark 4:40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Mark 5:34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Mark 11:22 “Have [ Some early manuscripts If you have] faith in God,” Jesus answered. Mark 16:14 Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. Luke 5:20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” John 12:11 for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him. |

I see it this way... wisdom is to knowledge as faith is to belief... You can know rocket science, but if you don't have the wisdom on how to apply that knowledge, then your rocket blows up. Proverbs 1:4 for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young -- 5 let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance 6 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and discipline. ... 29 since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord, 30 since they would not accept my advise and spurned my rebuke, 31 they will eat the fruit fo their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. Proverbs 2:6 for the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. ... 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasent to your soul. 11 Discretion will protect you and understanding will guard you. 12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men... Proverbs 3:13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding. Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice. NIV You can believe in the Bible, you can see it, you can touch it, you can read it. But, in order to be saved you must have faith in Jesus. Have faith that he died on the cross for your salvation. Faith in the Blood of Christ for redemption. For instance... Did Able beleive in God? You bet he did, but Abel by faith offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. Hebrews 11:4 Did Noah beleive in God? You bet he did, but he had faith to beleive what God told him and build the ark (Genesis 6 thru 9) and therefore saving himself and his family from the flood. Did Abraham beleive in God? You bet he did, but he had faith that God would supply a sacrifice in place of his only son Isaac. (Genesis 22) Did Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego beleive in God? You bet they did, but they had faith in God and therefore they escaped the firey furnace. (Daniel 3) And there are many many more examples in the bible. Job, David vs. Goliath, Daniel in the lions den. The centurion's faith that Jesus would heal his son (Matthew 8:5-13). The list goes on and on and on. You can beleive in a lot of things, but you must have faith in God in order to be fully saved. |

Thank you, the typo is why I could not find it. Hank "The Bible Answerman" (on XM radio channel 170 at 18:00 eastern) also uses some huge words that I do not quite understand. I listen to him, but don't understand what he's saying. I didn't study those words for my college career path which is in Information Technology. I'm a network administrator for an automobile dealer. This job gives me enough time to read and this forum, among others, while I'm at work. I very rarely even get on a computer at home any more, I'm busy reading and studying the Bible. Thanks once again, Your brother in Christ, Russ |
