42 | How can we comfort one another? | 2 Pet 3:10 | M.Royal | 188449
Hello John, It is written, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the shout of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Thess.4:16,17. However if at the rapture Christ is expected to leave part of his church behind to suffer affliction, or see tribulation, ie the great multitude and the 144,000 that as we know will be in heaven, how can we comfort one another with these words, unless we are sure which part of Christs church are to go first? 47 | As saints can we be exempt? | Rev 13:7 | M.Royal | 189130
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours. 1 Corinthians 1:2. With the fact that we are all called to be saints, can we be exempt from Rev.13:7,15,16. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; yea saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them. Rev.14:12,13. M.Royal |
