Bible Question (short): How can we comfort one another? |
Question (full): Hello John, It is written, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the shout of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Thess.4:16,17. However if at the rapture Christ is expected to leave part of his church behind to suffer affliction, or see tribulation, ie the great multitude and the 144,000 that as we know will be in heaven, how can we comfort one another with these words, unless we are sure which part of Christs church are to go first?
