Hi, Thanks for the three responses and I have studied all the Bible quotations mentioned therein.Regretably, I find that with my limitedcapablity of understanding of the Bible,my question is still very much intact. For your convenience, I append hereunder the question. "Is it compulsory or customary for Christians to attend Sunday Services, or it is up to the individual's mood?" Hopefully, someone will be kind enough to forward simple, direct and relevant comments. No deduction, please.Answears derived by deduction could be misleading because this method of obtaining answears is very subjective. Thanks FytRobert |

Hi CDBJ, You do not appear to get the gist of my question. May be, by fragmentation and rephrasing the question as follow, would assist you in answearing them. 1.You attend Sunday Service-do you feel that there is something or someone compelling you to attend? 2.You attend Sunday Service because you see that most Christians go to Sunday Service regularly,so you also want to make your present felt? 3.You attend Sunday Service because you feel the feeling-good feeling? If your answear is "NO" to all the above questions, then provide your personal reasons for attending Sunday Service. Because of my limited knowledge of the Bible, comparatively speaking,I am unable to oblige you with answears to the questions you posed to me. However, it would be educational to learn what your answears would be to your own questions. I repeat the questions below. 1.Have you come to the place yet where you can say for sure,if you were to die to-day that you would goto heaven that the Bible speaks of? 2.If you were to die to-day and God were to ask you,why should I let you into my heaven, what would you tell Him,what do you think you would say, what you know about the Bible? Have a good time.FytRobert |

Hi CDBJ, Thanks for your prompt response and I must say that you have done wellas anticipated, with the first 3 questions. But you were rather evasive with the following 2 questions you originally set for me,It would be very educational,if you were to provide answears in the same fashion and manner- direct, simple, short and sweet. For ease of reference, the 2 questions are repeated here. 1.Have you come the place yet where you can say for sure,if you were to die to-day that you would go to heaven that the Bible speaks of? 2.If you were to die to-day and God were to ask you, why should I let you into my heaven, what would you tell Him, what do you think you would say, what you know about the Bible? Yes, Time does not wait for man. Your answears are therefore urgently awaited, so that many children of God will learn from you in good time. Have a good time. FytRobert |

Hi Tim, Many thanks for your timely response and I feel that a ton of rocks has been lifted from my heart. God has indeed made it so simple for us to be saved and we can also assure ourselves of entry into Heaven provided we conduct ourselves accordingly. Tim, you have equipped me well. Thanks again. Hi, WHAT WILL GO TO HELL FOR PUNISHMENT? Many thanks to many of you who have responded to my post in connection with the above heading. From the various comments received recently,it is gathered that the following sequence of events will take place after death. 1.A human has 3 spiritual parts: Body- soul- spirit 2.After death: a. The body will return to earth. b. The soul and spirit will proceed to Hades. 3.Hades is divided into two sections, one (paradise/ Abraham bossom)for the believers and the other(hell) for wicked guys. 4.Whilst in hades, they await the great judgement day. 5.On judgement day, a new body is given to house the soul and spirit. 6.After judgement has been announced, the good believers ascend to heaven to be with Lord Jesus and forever happy. But the wicked guys will descend to the lake of fire and forever in torment. 7. The Lake of Fire is at this point in time empty until judgement day. Is this sequence in order? Your comments, please. With Love in Christ, FytRobert |

HI EdB, Thanks for your response. In view of your comments, does it follow that the great judgement day is meant for non-believers only? According to NT all believers ascend to Heaven at death and non-believers descend to hades at death-by this, judgement has in fact been already effected. So, this renders the great jedgement day of no effect! In order to clear certain points in my mind, I am inclined to pursue this subject further. I therefore seek your patience. With Love in Christ. FytRobert |

Hi, Jesus made a few jars of best wine from water for His guests at a wedding party. Many Pastors and strong believers would advise believers and non-believers to abstain from drinks which have alcohol in it. How can one reconcile this advice with what Jesus was doing? Hi, JESUS COMING/ OUR DEPARTURE Thanks for your answear which has prompted my mind to comment as follow: Why can't christians admit that Jesus coming will not happen to-night,next week nor the week after [we may even extend this timeframe]because the Bible says that several events must come to pass before the return on Jesus. I reckon, we are in the midst of these events. In this context, there is no necessity to be ready now. On the other hand,it is ever more urgent that we should ready ourselves for the Lord's coming, because no one knows the hour nor the day of his departure from this world. The emphasis should be on our departure from this world rather than Jesus coming! With Love in Christ. FytRobert |

Hi, Thanks for your comments but due to my shallow knowledge of the Bible, I am unable to comprend your message vide Jude1:17-23. Can you please be more helpful by being more specific in your comments on the following individually: 1.Jesus will come back again only after several events have come to past-as stated in the Bible. 2.After about 2000years, we are now in the midst of these events. 3.May be another 2000 years hence, before Jesus comes again! 4.Human life on this earth is comparatively short and it is very likely that this generation will depart from this world earlier than Jesus coming. In view of this, it is better to prepare oneself immediately and before death to walk the path of Jesus.Simply, because we do not know the hour nor the day of our migration. 5.So, in our attempts to bring in converts, our emphasis should be on our departure which is imminent rather than Jesus coming? Please comment. With Love in Christ. FytRobert. |
