261 | Can mortals ascend into the heavens? | Obad 1:4 | Reighnskye | 130525
The context of Gen 11:4,5 involves humanity's attempts to ascend back to God in the heavenly realms via human efforts. Shall Obadiah 1:4 not likely be translated in this greater context? Every verse has a supernatural application and/or source, no? How shall we discern what is antichrist in our translation efforts? |

262 | Does God plunge mortals into ignorance? | Obad 1:8 | Reighnskye | 130524
When mortals are cast out of psuedo-consciousness (earthly-based), it thereby grants opportunity to glimpse the greater spiritual reality all around. The true light will shine and the lesser light will fade.
263 | Does God plunge mortals into ignorance? | Obad 1:8 | Reighnskye | 130523
Is it truly feasible that the choices we make while in spiritual darkness can be considered competent? Are we not born lacking knowledge, despite the vast plethora of divine evidences displayed to us? Granted, mortals operate in a state of psuedo-consiousness (earthly-based) from birth, but this may be considered to be altogether worthless in contrast to true spiritual consciousness (heavenly-based), which can only be experienced when one is awakened to Christ, no? Only a fool born in darkness would make a determined choice to reject the Spirit of Life, no? |

264 | Does God plunge mortals into ignorance? | Obad 1:8 | Reighnskye | 130521
Indeed Adam and Eve plunged the human race into spiritual darkness, but the rest of us were born into it, no? I am here differentiating between true spiritual consciousness (saints) versus a mere psuedo-consciousness (sinners). Do we who were born into sin possess the same liability of Adam and Eve, who once knew no sin before they fell? Is not our ignorance more complete than theirs?
265 | Is the bible complete and inerrant? | Bible general Archive 2 | Reighnskye | 130489
Is there a chance that after Jesus' physical return to earth, that the written bible will alter or take different form? In other words, it is my belief that imperfect human languages cannot contain the uncompromised totality of divine truth in a book. However, after Christ's return, one may possibly surmise that perfect angelic tongues (superior to any imperfect mortal tongue) would be more able to relay divine truth more precisely than the current written canon of scripture. Would this hold any merit?
266 | Is the bible complete and inerrant? | Bible general Archive 2 | Reighnskye | 130441
Who specifically closed the canon of scripture? I always thought that it was the Catholic Church, but I could be way off here. What specific church fathers are you referring to? What are their names?
267 | Do we need the gospel to be saved? | Matt 24:14 | Reighnskye | 130439
In the light of Romans 10:13-16, 18, should we surmise that all have indeed heard the gospel of Christ? Or shall we rather interpret Matthew 24:14 to mean that not all have had a chance to hear the gospel of Christ as yet, insofar as the spoken gospel has not yet permeated every nation of the earth? Matthew 24:14 "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. |

How do we know that the bible is complete? And what revelation, if any, should we look forward to at the return of Jesus?
