22 | All flesh | OT general | vume | 48837
Psalms:65:2: O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Isa:40:5: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Joe:2:28: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Isa:52:10: The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. These are the scriptures that may have been used to say "all flesh will be saved". Let us rightly divide the WORD, understand the difference between being saved and seeing salvation. This is a good place to study as a workman (wordman). |

23 | Is this the substance of confession? | Matt 10:27 | vume | 48827
GEORGEWBUSH: Yes-thank you for the cross reference, 2Corinthians:3 certainly validates my prayers especially for the Middle East. May I suggest to you (GEORGEWBUSH), that your last sentence should be rewritten as: It is a promise and it's a promise that Jesus fulfilled on the day of pentacost and is still fulfilling to this very day because we have His great words in scriptures written by the apostles. Most pleased to meet you and again thanks. |

24 | The Lord's supper | 1 Cor 10:16 | vume | 48727
As I grew up in a church I was taught that circumcisim was the blood covenant for man and when Jesus shed God's Blood in crucifiction the covenant was completed. Genesis:15:9: And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. This ceremony make me think there is more and should be understood especially in partaking of communion. |

25 | Is this the substance of confession? | Matt 10:27 | vume | 48707
Matthew:10:26: Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. Is this a promise? If verse 26 is a promise then what is Jesus saying in verse 27? |

26 | Request topic "Personal Responsiblity" | 1 Cor 8:3 | vume | 46176
Catalina; In a Bible forum I assume "personal resposiblity" is the effort that each participant makes at arriving at the place that they can say is where they most clearly see God and can relate His Truth. WOW - I thought it was going to be easy to put that thought into words. 1Corinthians:8:3: But if any man love God, the same is known of him. |

27 | God has promised rewards. | Heb 11:6 | vume | 46167
Makarios; As I said in my first responce thank you. Getting the niceties of how we each do things out of the way, I also would like to say and be accountable to knowing and doing what God wants. Yes it is telling that only you answered my question, my thuoght is that in God's wisdom what we have to share is important enough to go one on one. Do you have a comment on my remark in my last note "system of rewards". Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief Jas:1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Jas:1:18: Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 2Jo:1:8: Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 2Jo:1:9: Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Matthew 25:34-46 seed time planting and harvest Ro:2:6: Who will render to every man according to his deeds (diligent or derilect) 2Tm:2:14: Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. |

28 | God has promised rewards. | Heb 11:6 | vume | 46159
Makarios; Thank you for your responce although our thinking seems minds (miles) apart. You know nothing about me yet your comment assumes that I need to be rebuked. James 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. "glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" This could be an anawer but it focuses on the house not the builder. Romans 2:11-29 This is very good and helpful, thank you for obeying your leading to share it. I almost wish I had asked my question about this scripture, but back to Hebrews 11:6. Heb:3:6 - but he that built all things is God. Hebrews:3:10: Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. I accept (Heb 11:6-He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]) this as God's Word, not mine or any mans. If God has a system of rewards then to enter into His Will and Way, I do agree must be a humble and obedient walk for the best of God's sons. Along with my original question let me add, do we forefit rewards when we come up short in our (diligently) seeking Him? |

29 | God has promised rewards. | Heb 11:6 | vume | 45780
Why do Christians fade to gray about rewards? Many (most) Christians are ready to share their relationship to God yet how many will Glorify God by declaring how they are rewarded? |

30 | should you fast if not for prayer purpos | Acts | vume | 45001
I believe anytime you feel the need to give your spiritual side an edge is the right time to fast and pray. reference Acts:13:2: As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3: And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. |

31 | Seeking out suffering? | Col 1:24 | vume | 44929
My quandary is the transformation from faith to knowledge. How much of Jesus work (meat) was by faith and how much was obedience to the intimate will of the Father? Answer: 100 percent of both, no separation of His faith and His knowledge. Romans:8:29:.......... I patiently wait - Wow what a task. |
