Subject: God has promised rewards. |
Bible Note: Makarios; Thank you for your responce although our thinking seems minds (miles) apart. You know nothing about me yet your comment assumes that I need to be rebuked. James 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. "glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" This could be an anawer but it focuses on the house not the builder. Romans 2:11-29 This is very good and helpful, thank you for obeying your leading to share it. I almost wish I had asked my question about this scripture, but back to Hebrews 11:6. Heb:3:6 - but he that built all things is God. Hebrews:3:10: Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. I accept (Heb 11:6-He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]) this as God's Word, not mine or any mans. If God has a system of rewards then to enter into His Will and Way, I do agree must be a humble and obedient walk for the best of God's sons. Along with my original question let me add, do we forefit rewards when we come up short in our (diligently) seeking Him? |
