23 | Forgiving Blaspemies! | Mark | John Ryals | 229897
Help me to undertand please! Jesus said in verse twenty-eight, "All Sins", and 'Blasphemies' In verse twenty-nine he says, "but is in danger of eternal damnation", (29)"But he who shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness" Does this not mean that I 'CAN' ask for forgiveness so I won't be in danger of eternal damnation? Is there an emphasis on, 'BUT' in vers 29? And does not, "Hath Never forgiveness" mean that you haven't repented? In Christ, John Ryals |

24 | WHAT IS THE MEANING OF RENEWING YOUR MIN | Rom 12:2 | John Ryals | 229853
Proverbs 4:23 states, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life," By renewing my mind I renew my heart! Once renewal is achieved I must guard these new dispositions and inclinations, as well as new sympathies and antipathies. Which comes at the time of Conversion and Sanctification. Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, and acceptable, and Perfect, Will of God." |

27 | Opposition of Holy Spirit? | Mark | John Ryals | 229847
Matthew Henry states, "Many of those who reviled Christ on the cross (which was a 'blaspheming' of the Son of man, aggravated to the highest degree), found mercy, and Christ himself prayed, Father, forgive them; but this was 'blaspheming the Holy Ghost, for it was by the Holy Spirit that he cast out devils, and they said, It was by the unclean spirit. By this method they would outface the conviction of all the gifts of the Holy Ghost after Christ's ascension, and defeat them all, after which there remained no more proof, and therefore they should never have forgiveness, but were liable to eternal damnation. They were in imminent danger of that everlasting punishment, from which there was no redemption, and in which there was no intermission, no remission. I would like to further comment on the question: First I believe Mark 3:22-27 is leading up to Mark 3:28 30.Verse (22) states "the scribes came down from Jerusalem," to me this means they came with purpose. To proselyte, to discredit Christs' doctrine, or just to prove they were more knowledgeable; could have been some of the possibilties. But when Jesus asked in verse (23, 'How can Satan cast out Satan?" I believe this prevented them from being successful with their agenda. After a series of more 'Parable thoughts' in verses 24-27 this is when Jesus' explanation of what the unpardonable sin included. To create more in the discussion thread; Verse (28 ) states, "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherwith soever they shall blaspheme;" Is this not saying that 'blaspheming, can be forgiven? I pray my following comment will expand this discussion. I believe (only a Believer who has ceased to believe, in other words, ceases to evidence Faith in Christ, and a professor of religion, such as these Pharisees, etc., can blaspheme the Holy Spirit; an unsaved person, who has made no profession of faith, cannot blaspheme the Spirit; and when one does blaspheme the Holy Spirit, there will not be any desire to serve Christ, as there was no desire by the Pharisees, tc., to serve Christ) and this is an example of displaying 'Blasphemy'. |

31 | How can the Son at the end be subject be | 1 Cor 15:28 | John Ryals | 228556
Let us all know and understand: there is no "Redeemer" but the Lord! There is One God, manifest in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, Who are all One in essence [ I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:3-6; Heb. 1:8; John 1:1-2; 20;28; Acts 5;3-4; II John 3; Acts 2;34]. Also, look at my entry further down in this thread. I pray this is suffice for your question. God Bless, John Ryals |

Exodus 6:3 states: "And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by My Name JEHOVAH was I not known to them." In fact, the Name "Jehovah" was not used from the very beginning; however, the full meaning of it was not made known unto Israel until it was time to fulfill the Promises and Covenants with them as a nation. Psalms 83:18 clearly states, "That men may know that You, Whose Name alone is JEHOVAH, are the Most High over all the Earth." Some more scripture's: Isaiah 12:2 and Isaiah 26:4. I pray this can be helpful. God Bless! John Ryals |

33 | How can the Son at the end be subject be | 1 Cor 15:28 | John Ryals | 228449
God the Father has put all things under the Feet of Jesus. This, in reference of the fact that "all things" do not include God the Father being made subject to Jesus. Verse 28 implies that in Paul's day, this total dominion had not yet been exercised and, in fact, has not done so unto this present hour; but the time will come when it definiely shall be, which will be at the close of the Millennial Reign. 34 | Is to bill or murder the same | Ex 20:13 | John Ryals | 228427
If I may, Exodus 20:13 in the NASB and AMPLIFIED Bible translations states, "You Shall not Murder, if this is correct because looking in the KJV it says, "You shall not kill." Whichever; means the same. Should have been translated, "thou shalt do no muder"; God, in His Holy Word, commands magistrates to put evil men to death [Rom. 13:4]; that is not murder; to "kill" and to "commit murder" are two different verbs in the Hebrew Text. 35 | Sanctification Process? | 1 Cor 1:2 | John Ryals | 228402
Thank you for that wonderful explanation and provided study scriptures. I want to see youe explanation to a thought I'm having about 'consecration.' Consecration by Webster's defintion: 'dedicate to a sacred purpose or service.' My thought, Once we are justified through faith, we are sanctified, or set apart. Until this 'setting apart'; Truly, we can't be as informed as we should about the Word of God. Even if we had sat through numerous sermons, or studied for relentless hours; If we have never had that 'Born Again' experience; Would not our understanding come from a 'Humanistic Approach', and not the Holy Spirit's guidance? After true regeneration, we now began our proper journey as we move more towards a 'consecrated life'. So now, would not our forward progression be a sense of being 'consecrated' and not 'Santified'? I can only pray this is understandable, with clarity. If not, please do your best to understand the direction I am being led on this concerned topic. This is a topic I find of disagreement in some of my Bible study groups, and would like to get some feedback from this forum so I may share with them. May the Lord be with you, John Ryals |

Genises 2:7; "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." I,m not as formal or educated as most, but if God did this, I beleive He can do all! We can use all of the Philosophical wisdom we want too, but the truth of the matter, God Created! 40 | 2 sam 13:1 | 2 Sam 13:1 | John Ryals | 228395
Tamar was the half-sister of Amnon. She was he daughter of Maach, a princess of Geshur, one of David's wives. Amnon was David's first-born, the son of Ahinoam of Jezereel. Absalom was also the son of Maacah. At this time, Amnon was about 22 years old; Absalom, 20; Tamar, 15; and Solomon, 2. David was 53 years old. The Chapter begins with "Absalom," as if the Holy Spirit is warning us that the coming rebellion led by Absalom begins here, which is another subject dealt with later on, in this Book of Samuel. I can't say their were any who desired this type of 'wanting,' because Amnon used a plan of deception to create this opportunity, and on top of that he took her against her will. I will say there were some in the Old Testament who were married to their Half- Sisters. The Levitical Laws in that time were held with the utmost, and if you read in the great Book of Leviticus in the 20th Chapter, this should help with your curiosity. May the Lord be with you.
