21 | how can i know Jesus died for me ? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43555
You know if you are predestined (or set apart) for Christ by being drawn by His Holy Spirit. No man can come unless the Father draws Him, but it is not God's will that ANY should PERISH, but that ALL should have EVERLASTING LIFE...Many are called, but few are chosen...He is calling you - He has died for the sins of the whole world - will you receive Him? If you receive Him, then you were chosen, set apart for Him, drawn by His Spirit. I hope you will receive Him today. If you need to discuss this, email me personally at DoggieGrace@msn.com |

Hi. I understand you asking for proof. Even the disciples that had followed Jesus so willingly really got afraid and became disbelieving after he died. It wasn't until he "appeared" to them after His resurrection that they finally realized He had truly risen from the dead like He said He would. Once He ascended (rose) to the Father, 40 days after He had been with them in His resurrected form, they stood gazing into heaven and the angel said "This same Jesus will come back in the same way He left" (In book of Acts). They tarried in Jerusalem and on the Day of Pentecost (about 10 days later), they received the PROMISED HOLY SPIRIT - now Jesus would live INSIDE of them, work THROUGH them... and the One they once needed PROOF to believe in, NOW they were willing to DIE for...He had risen...He is alive today at the right hand of the Father. He has taken the penalty for our sins upon Himself. If we place our faith in Him as the One and Only sacrifice for sin - if we believe in Him - we will receive the Holy Spirit also and become the children of God. Our eyes are then opened to the Scriptures and we understand them! I pray if you have not received this TRUTH, you will today. Jesus said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me." RECEIVE Him today. If you have prayed this, BELIEVE that He is faithful to His Word. God bless you. If you want to visit my email and speak to me directly about this, please do so. DoggieGrace@msn.com Love in Christ! |

Hi, Salt of the Earth, this is Doggie Grace. Thank you for your reply to my comment on Isaiah 30:15. That verse has always meant so much to me in my life. I have a teenage son going away to college this year (not quite as far, but still too far to come home very often) and I've been crying about it this VERY morning...hard to let go! I am assuming your son is graduating FROM COLLEGE! Yes, I know also the Lord will take care of the finances to help you be there. I am so thankful God used me to give you encouragement. That's where real joy is found. Thank you for yours as well. If you ever want to send me a personal email, my address is: DoggieGrace@msn.com I hope we meet up again with future verses and encouragements. I also have 3 Christian communities that I try to manage, but usually don't have time to maintain them well. They won't show up highlighted on here for you to link to, but if you e-mail me I will be happy to send them to you that way. God bless you and continue to be His salt in this world! Love, Brenda |

24 | Cease Striving-Rest in His Love- | Is 30:15 | DoggieGrace | 41349
Repentance is to have a change of mind. Rest is to cease from striving. Quietness is a gentle assurance in the soul that all is well. Trust is that - trust - He will not fail you ....."but you were not willing".......how sad..... ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REST FROM YOUR OWN WORKS AND COMPLETELY TRUST HIM. HAVE A CHANGE OF MIND ABOUT WHO IS RUNNING YOUR LIFE. Don't try so hard to find answers. Rest in His love. He is the answer. MEDITATE ON THIS VERSE OFTEN. IT IS POWERFUL. Your part? Turn over your will to His. |

25 | Can fallen spirit filled saints repent? | 1 John 5:13 | DoggieGrace | 41348
I agree when you question if you are far from God you are truly still drawing near to Him through the evidence of the hungering after righteousness that He gives. Thank you for your help. I have been teaching for many years myself and I have helped others with this verse. I have a confident stand on it, but I think it is wise to receive counsel from others as well. Thanks again.

29 | Where is God when I need him? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 41340
God is right there. He revealed Himself in the Old Testament as El Roi - The God Who Sees He revealed Himself as El Elyon - The Sovereign God- the ruler of all - The question on suicide is NOT will you go to hell or not. I believe there are probably true believers who for what ever reason they took their life are in heaven, BUT THAT SAID, I know it is NOT GOD'S WILL that you should perish, but that you should have EVERLASTING LIFE and that would be ABUNDANT LIFE. It is horrible that you have experienced a rape. I can only imagine the horror. Know this. God is El Roi - the God who sees - and He saw what was done to you and He will punish the evil when He comes to punish sin and evildoers. The man will not get off from God's wrath. God is angry about what was done to you. He loves you. He sees you. He sees you hurting. I pray that you will turn to Him and not run away from Him. Please e-mail me and let's talk about this more. Send the e-mail to: DoggieGrace@msn.com He can take all your pain and use it to minister to others. He has allowed even this awful tragedy to bring about His glory in your life and to use you for His service. I have plenty of scriptures to back up what I am telling you. I prefer to minister to you through my own e-mail. Please send one my way. God bless you, Unsure. I pray you will become more sure than ever of His unending love for you. Write me soon! Love, Brenda |

32 | Prov 3:5-6; Col 2:6; Rom 8:28 | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 41243
Acknowledge God and do not trust your own wisdom (Prov.3)Walk in Christ the same way you received in (by faith)-Col.2:6; Rom.8:28-God causes all things to work together for God to those who are CALLED according to His purposes. Not sure why these verses were given to enhance one another, but certaining: We must know God through a realtionship with Jesus Christ by faith. Then we must fully trust Him in all areas of our life and not lean on our own understanding. Thirdly, whatever happens, we are to know that God is working it all "together" to fulfill His purposes in our life, which ultimately is to bring Him glorify through His son living in us. |
