21 | Is It You, Doc? | Bible general | jeremiah1five | 241790
Now, are you accusing me of not being obedient to the Lord within my call and gifting? Are you saying now that I am not exercising "self-control, kindness, respect, etc?" If you have been offended by me for some reason the command to reply is Matthew 18:15. You still have not answered my question. Are you the one responsible for restricting Christ in me and manipulating me and my comments, answers, and replies? I don't understand why there are some in the darkness doing these things to Christians? Are you part of that sect? |

22 | Is It You, Doc? | Bible general | jeremiah1five | 241796
Thanks, Doc. I do not want to talk about myself. I'm asking if you are the one that placed a restriction on my comments and muzzling the Holy Spirit in me? Is it you that has done thins thing?
23 | Is It You, Doc? | Bible general | jeremiah1five | 241803
justme, I appreciate your commitment to the truth on this matter. I KNOW I had not been the only one. Now, I don't know if I am the target of "what happen to you," but I know that the ONLY moderator in a believers life is the Word of God and the Holy Spirit who applies the Word not only to the individual believers life, but is also sufficient for the Church-body as a whole. When Israel gathered before God at the Tabernacle there was no other "rules" or "guidelines" to which Israel was compelled or commanded to obey else they would be "dealt" with in accordance to those rules or guidelines. What Christians, and brethren that make sites where Christians gather don't realize is that all these sites are rife with "rules of conduct" and "guidelines" and such that dictate to the Christian how they are to act which supersedes the Word of God, and quite frankly, God Himself in the Person of the Holy Spirit, because if one were to "run afoul" of their rules, which may or may not be in compliance to the Word of God, their sin against Christ is compounded daily all across the NET and Christians are being taught to follow human-made rules in same fashion as the Sadducees and Pharisees who compelled the people to obey their interpretations of the Law of God without question, and whoever didn't was excommunicated from the synagogue/Temple the same was the blind man who Christ gave sight in John 9:34 was "cast out" (banned/excommunicated) from the congregation of believers for questioning or disagreeing with their "rule" over the people. This is what Peter was saying when warning those that had the oversight to not "lord it over the people." And if you think about the explosion of information that accompanied the beginning and continuation of the "Information Age," and computers and the Internet that that enables this "age" I am sure the words of Christ are even more understood that because of the "iniquity that abounds (on websites) that the love of many will grow cold." If one is to believe in Sola Scriptura I find it difficult that these would also allow the sola scriptura of written rules and guidelines that supersede the very Word of God, a Word that is TOTALLY SUFFICIENT for the Church today as it was for Israel in their day. There is something very wrong, sinfully wrong, when censorship and muzzling and control of other Christians under the anointing even, goes on daily and without accountability to the Scripture and to God. "justme," I would like for you to either call or write me that we may talk and I learn of your experiences. If Lockman is to be a GODly place where Christians can congregate to practice, share, and exercise their God-given gifts, then it is the Church as a people that is to make it happen, not moderators, or people in the dark shadows that treat Christians as though they are still in the world and under the control of the god of this world. We have a higher standard that God is given us in His Word. We are not only obligated, but commanded and instructed in how we are to behave in personal life as well as in corporate life when we gather together as a people. Sola Scriptura is either true and we practice it, or it is a lie and we allow others to dictate our behavior. |

24 | Who are the unseen accusers and why to t | Gen 1:1 | jeremiah1five | 241687
These "spirits" are not angels. They are of your own mind. Welcome to the battle that takes place among every born again believer in the Church. Your flesh is contrary to the Holy Spirit in you: Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But don't fret about the last statement by Paul about not inheriting the "kingdom of God." If you are true born of God believer and the Holy Spirit dwells in you and you know His Presence, then be assured that He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. Christ IS the kingdom of God. It is not a place or realm. But a Person (Matt. 12:28). Also know that your mind, my mind, every Christian's mind is enmity against God (Rom. 8:7). New believers walk on clouds, the Spirit is deep and wide and they walk around in a glowing light (somewhat like Moses did.) But as the believer learns from God the difference between holy and unholy, obedience and disobedience, soon the flesh, the world, and everything in between get the best of the saint and they lose the "edge" they sin and begin to get down on themselves about their failures before God and self-condemnation sets in. The Scripture is a Spirit-ual "thing" and your flesh doesn't want anything to do with it. You must persevere, and if true born of God you will! God always raises His kids. He is not an absentee Father, but is intimately involved in His children's lives and will take us all from glory to glory. Bear in mind that we all cannot in this body live on the mountain-top experience. We have to go down into the valley from time to time to be taught. But as you look back in life across the countless mountain-tops towards tyour past-horizon you may remember those valley's between the mountains but you will never see them. Again. Granted of course, that you are obedient to your Father and what He tries to teach you as you grow in Him. Your mind will contradict the Word. Don't listen. As much as is in you for the measure of faith you presently possess keep your eyes on God. Psst...God is found described in Scripture. Hear Him! :) not your mind. |

25 | Twins? | Gen 4:2 | jeremiah1five | 241596
Hi Doc. If that was the case then wouldn't it be translated that way by the KJV scholars that translated the KJV? It would seem the word is only saying that she bare again, not that she conceived again. |

26 | Obedience in Love? | Lev 19:18 | jeremiah1five | 241702
So, you are saying that Christ changed the Law in Leviticus 19:18 to include the unsaved. We are to love those not in Covenant with God? That is to contradict the original command of God and to teach Jesus changed the Law.
27 | Obedience in Love? | Lev 19:18 | jeremiah1five | 241712
There are many things the Word does not say implicitly that are and have become doctrine for the Church. An example is the Doctrine of the Trinity. It doesn't say in Scripture God is a Trinity but it does imply it through the comparison of Scripture and reason (Isa. 1:18). If God hates His enemies (the world - which means non-Covenant individuals) will you commit treason to your King and love that which God hates? 1 John 2:15 is a perfect example. God doesn't love the non-Covenant world, those to whom in His perfect wisdom and knowledge did not choose from the foundation of the world, and He directly commands His people to not love the world (non-Covenant people) as He commanded Israel to not mingle with the nations (goyim) nor to learn THEIR WAYS. A true believer does not contradict God nor oppose Him in any of His revealed Word. I suppose you also believe God loves everyone the same as He does His Church? If you say yes, God does loves everyone, Covenant and non-Covenant alike, then the question now is who are these people Christ is destroying at His second coming when He comes in God's wrath and righteousness and warring against the wicked? Is He destroying those He loves? That is NOT the love of God as Scripture declares it. God hates both sin and sinner if that sinner is not Elect of God and whose name is not in the book of life of the lamb slain from (BEFORE) the foundation (creation) of the world. Consider not loving that which God hates, nor hating that which God loves. To do so is to oppose God. |

28 | Obedience in Love? | Lev 19:18 | jeremiah1five | 241721
I did not say we are to treat them with hate, only that we should be obedient and not treat them with love. God's love is Holy. The command is to not give that which is holy to dogs (non-Covenant.) The command is for brethren to love brethren. God doesn't give His Holy Love to non-Covenant. Not even God casts His Pearl, Jesus Christ, to swine. Neither should we. God hates the unatoned sinner. It is this people that Christ comes to destroy. And He is successful, too. Thank God. If you want to continue to love that which God hates that's on you. But for thousands of years God did not send the high priest to the heathens to pray and offer sacrifices for them. Think of the millions that God did not save nor atone and then tell me God loves all people the same. There have always been two groups of people in the world: Covenant and non-Covenant. |

29 | Who or What Dictates Your Behavior? | Deut 6:6 | jeremiah1five | 241654
I have made no accusation about Lockman, so please, do not create a problem by insinuating that I have. If you wish to address me personally and discuss any of my feelings rather than the facts and truth of the Word of God you can email me at my user name @gmail.com. Otherwise, taking guesses about my feelings towards Lockman when I have yet to declare myself I take as false witness.
30 | I'm curious. Why am I being muzzled? | Deut 6:6 | jeremiah1five | 241704
To restrict a thread as you have done is to restrict the Holy Spirit in that person. This, too, is a characteristic of antichrist and antichristian behavior. There are no secrets in the body of Christ, no shadows, no hidden corners. Everything is to be in the light that others may judge (1 Cor. 11:18-19). You need to repent of this and stop muzzling the Holy Spirit.
31 | Who or What Dictates Your Behavior? | Deut 6:6 | jeremiah1five | 241754
Truthfully, I did not expect you to be accountable to the Lord and address your offense, confession of this offense of false accusation, and ultimately repent (not do again). There is something wrong with your spirit that reveals a deeper spiritual problem in you. I actually recognize the spirit (1 Jn. 4:1). |

32 | The Gospel According to Self | Zech 1:4 | jeremiah1five | 241567
This is true as I have witnessed many so-called Christians who hold to one (and other) passages of Scripture over another (and other) "contradictory" passages of Scripture that say an "opposite." I have heard from unbelievers that the Bible contradicts itself. However, it is my present belief that there are no contradictions in Scripture, and that a disciple that comes across these seeming contradictions should not teach one and discount or omit another for the simple reason that they have not yet learned to resolve such "tensions" and should not teach or preach one over the other (as Augustine implies) until they have resolved these "differences." I believe the context has much to do with handling these "contradictions" and that the disciple MUST come to the knowledge of the truth before opening their mouths (or keyboard) and say anything at all until then, but wait on the Holy Spirit to help them understand what they read. |

33 | Question about meaning of turning cheek | Matt 5:39 | jeremiah1five | 241623
QUOTE: "The 'eye for eye' philosphy would be to strike them back and avenge one's self of this affront. But, Jesus said to turn to him the other check as well and endure the insult again." RESPONSE: If this is what you say Jesus is teaching, then Jesus would be teaching amiss and teaching a change in the Law (of Retribution.) Any change in the Law would "destroy" the Law, and if this is the interpretation then the religious leaders would have this to accuse Jesus of (changing, or teaching a change in the Law), but there is no accusation in the Scripture that the "Jews" understood this as a change. What I believe is that Jesus is upholding the Law (of Retribution) of eye for eye and strike for strike. Jesus can't be changing the Law for any change in the Law would "destroy" the Law and this is tantamount to Jesus "destroying" Himself for the Law prophesied most about Israel's Kinsman-Redeemer. |

34 | Does God cause people to get arrested ? | Matt 24:9 | jeremiah1five | 241703
Are there no innocent people in jail or prison? Are you of the "heart" that believes anyone arrested and accused of a crime, even if convicted of a crime and in prison, that if they are in prison they must be guilty?
35 | Does God cause people to get arrested ? | Matt 24:9 | jeremiah1five | 241713
No, it does mean including miscarriages of justice. Jesus is a perfect example. If God created the world and the people in it and it is "tainted" (actually, immersed is a better word) in sin, then God willed all that proceeds from that act, miscarriages and all. You cannot believe in a Sovereign God and the make excuses for things that occur that do not fit your understanding of God's righteousness and will. God is not looking the other way when one is falsely accused, arrested, prosecuted and convicted, especially if it is one of His own kids. He is directly and intimately involved. He even willed and orchestrated a thief receiving capital punishment on a cross. When is the last time that in the United States we execute a thief? But if God had not orchestrated these lives according to His will the thief on the cross would not hand with Jesus and not been promised paradise. |

36 | Does God cause people to get arrested ? | Matt 24:9 | jeremiah1five | 241722
I see God as ordaining everything that comes to pass. He knows the end from the beginning because He ordained the end.
37 | Mark 1:12 ekbaino not ekballo, | Mark 1:12 | jeremiah1five | 241621
Most likely from the Received Text (Textus Receptus.) But what is interesting is that the Spirit "threw Jesus out like a ball" into the wilderness from the city. That act kinda removes the idea the Holy Spirit is a "Gentleman," don't you think? I read "force" and "intent" and "direction" in this act. And speaking from experience I've had this "Gentleman" do the same to me several times in my walk. Not complaining, mind you, but when it does occur I've learned to enjoy the direct guidance of the Lord and know that what happens will be for my edification and to accomplish His will and purpose (despite not always knowing at the time what that purpose may be.)
38 | Disciples during Christ's 40 days? | Mark 1:12 | jeremiah1five | 241622
That is what came to mind as I read this question.
39 | Does God force His will on us ? | Mark 1:12 | jeremiah1five | 241634
Hi Doc. Just a question... #1 is Lucifer still a servant of God? |
||||||
40 | Does God force His will on us ? | Mark 1:12 | jeremiah1five | 241638
Just a note....was it really Lucifer in Job, Matthew, "throughout the gospels" as you say? As for demons...I believe they are attitudes, not angels. The gift of discerning of spirits in the Church is a gift of the Spirit to discern the source of spiritual activity and phenomenon. The gift can only discern these three spirit-ual beings in creation- 1 the spirit of elect angels 2 the spirit of fallen angels 3 the spirit of man 4 the Spirit of God. These four and no more. Your thoughts? |
