25 | How do you feel about the Ten Commandmen | Ephesians | fmp6954 | 235837
G'Evening Steve It looks like you have lots of reasons to keep the sabath holy, I say go ahead an worship any way you desire. I would like to make one more point I don't think God wants you to try to worship two laws at the same time see Romans 7:1,4 Would it please God for a woman to have two husbands at the same time? Would it please God for a Christian to try to live by the Old Testament Law and the New Testament at the same time? the 4th commandment was not included in the New testamant it served its purpose and now it is obslete. 26 | How do you feel about the Ten Commandmen | Ephesians | fmp6954 | 235827
Greetings Steve Just trying to spread a little more light on this subject. If you will notice Paul says in Galatians 3:16,19 "the Law was given until the Seed should come. The seed refered to is Jesus. So God intended for the Law He gave to Moses and the Jews to Last only until the time of christ. Also Notice in Luke 16:17 and Matthew 5:17,18 Jesus came to fulfill the law. Jesus said the Law would not pass away until all was fulfilled or acomplished. Does Jesus say the Law would never pass away ? Jesus said the Law would pass away when all was accomplished (fulfilled) , not before. Trust in the word. fmp |

Not Christians. When the New Testament came in to effect 9 of the 10 commandments were re-instated with the exception of the 4th commandment to keep the sabath. Have a good day! Fmp |

when I said "all the evidence" I was refering to all the evidence that I posted in my note. Not saying that their was not any other evidence out their. But let me say that if you can find any other evidence the is contary to the evidence that I displayed, then wouldn't that indicate a contradiction in the word ? I don't believe the bible contradicts it's self. Therefore all scripture will agree if understood corectly. Do you not agree? |

Hey you! Trying to understand what you are trying to say. I sounds like you are saying that God should not pronounce final judgement on a person for worshiping God by the way they feel in their heart about the word of God instead of following the commandments of God. (feel good religon) |

CDBJ i have know idea where you came up with "all of you standing here" I use the NASB and it doesn't say that Matthew 16;28 actually says 28 asuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. I checked the The NAS New Testament Greek Lexicon and all does not I repeat does not apear under the difinitionss of some. Further more all the scolars that compiled the new american standard bible say it is some and I belive they are more intelegent than you are. Verily I say unto you. This is a strong asseveration, Christ puts his "Amen" to it; declaring it to be a certain truth, which may firmly be believed: there be some standing here; meaning either his disciples, or some of the audience; for it is clear from ( Mark 8:34 ) that the people were called unto him with his disciples, when he said these words: which shall not taste of death: that is, shall not die; a phrase frequently used by the Jewish doctors: they say till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom; which is not to be understood of his personal coming in his kingdom in the last day, when he will judge quick and dead; for it cannot be thought, that any then present should live to that time, but all tasted of death long before, as they have done; for the story of John's being alive, and to live till then, is fabulous, and grounded on a mistake which John himself has rectified at the close of his Gospel: nor of the glorious transfiguration of Christ, the account of which immediately follows; when he was seen by Peter, James, and John, persons now present; for that, at most, was but an emblem and a pledge of his future glory: rather, of the appearance of his kingdom, in greater glory and power, upon his resurrection from the dead, and his ascension to heaven; when the Spirit was poured down in an extraordinary manner, and the Gospel was preached all over the world; was confirmed by signs and wonders, and made effectual to the conversion and salvation of many souls; which many then present lived to see, and were concerned in: though it seems chiefly to have regard to his coming, to show his regal power and authority in the destruction of the Jews; when those his enemies that would not he should reign over them, were ordered to be brought and slain before him; and this the Apostle John, for one, lived to be a witness of. BEWARE! Stop trying to twist the word of God to conform to your doctrine and miss using the Greek. |

You say: it will never be abolished. IF IT IS NOT ABOLISHED THEN WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE MOSIAC LAW AND THE TEN COMMANDMANTS THAT IS PART OF THE THAT LAW WHEN GOD SAID IT WAS FULFILLED, COMPLETED, FINISHED, ENDED, DONE AWAY WITH ? THE LAW INCLUDING THE TEN COMMANDMENT AND REPLACED IT WITH THE NEW LAW (THE NEW TESTAMENT). YOU CAN’T LIVE BY TWO LAWS AT THE SAME TIME. |

Here is what you quoted "There is only one way to salvation and that is through the blood of christ, his blood was shed once and forever ,no flesh can be saved by the law," Are you saying the old law could not save you ? If so I agree that is why Jesus done away with it and gave us a new Law the New testament. |

Your note: There is only one way to salvation and that is through the blood of christ, his blood was shed once and forever ,no flesh can be saved by the law, WHAT LAW ARE YOU REFERING TO? when Christ was crucified the blood ordinances was nailed to the cross with him WHAT ARE YOU REFERRING TO AS BLOOD ORDINANCES? ,circumcision is of the heart both for man and woman.and as for as the law it is what keeps man out of trouble AGAIN WHAT LAW ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? it will never be abolished, IF IT IS NOT ABOLISHED THEN WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE MOSIAC LAW AND THE TEN COMMANDMANTS THAT IS PART OF THE THAT LAW WHEN GOD SAID IT WAS FULFILLED, COMPLETED, FINISHED, ENDED, DONE AWAY WITH ? THE LAW INCLUDING THE TEN COMMANDMENT AND REPLACED IT WITH THE NEW LAW (THE NEW TESTAMENT). YOU CAN’T LIVE BY TWO LAWS AT THE SAME TIME. When the Bible says that the wages of sin is death; what is it referring to since there are 7 different types of death mentioned in the Bible? Romans 6:23 (NKJV) (A) 23 For the wages of sin is death, This death is Definition The NAS New Testament Greek Lexicon 1. the death of the body a. that separation (whether natural or violent) of the soul and the body by which the life on earth is ended b. with the implied idea of future misery in hell separated from Christ. Can you name the seven deaths ? and add the book chapter and verse where they occur. I could not respond the the following words, The didn’t make a whole lot of sence to me. Could you explain what I have in CAPITALS Your response When Jesus said it is finished in John 19:30 he wasn’t dead yet SO IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HIS PHYSICAL THAT PAID THE PRICE OR SIN. John 19:30 (NKJV) 30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said,"IT IS FINISHED" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. The word finished in the English is translated from the Koine Greek verb “TELEO” and IT IS IN THE IDICATIVE MOOD WHICH MEANS IT WAS ALREADY A REALITY at that point in time and the passive voice meaning He had received it SO IT WASN’T PHYSICAL DEATH THAT PAID THE PRICE! The blood as referred in the OT is what’s known as a representative analogy: it foreshadowed what the Messiah would accomplish when He came into the world. It could only cover sin at that point in time until the Lamb of God would take it away. Again what death was it that paid the price for sin? If you suggest that it was physical death then when WE DIE PHYSICALLY THAT WOULD PAY FOR OU OWN SINS AND THAT WON’T CUT IT! |

40 | How do you feel about the Ten Commandmen | Ephesians | fmp6954 | 235702
Dear Azure Thanks for your response. to elaborate more look at Exodus 34:27,28 you can see that God was speeking to Moses. God made this covenant (Ten Commandments) with Moses and the nation of Israel. It doesn't say that God made this covenant (Ten Commandments) with christians, So Christians were never held accountable for the Ten Commandments in the first place. as for living a lawless life The New Testament has 1050 commandments to guide you how to live your life. Here is a web site you can see all those commandments. http://www.biblicalresearchreports.com/listofcommands.php Thank you fmp6954 |
