21 | God's Kingdom Power comes near the SC | Mark 9:1 | angel1 | 44186
I think we must go to the KJV here--Mark8-32-38 sets the point of9-1-"Verily I say unto you-that there be some of THEM-that will not taste ofdeath until-----"we must make the distinction between His disciples and "them". Jesus knows always the spirits behind each person--these spirits will not "die" until Jesus comes again. in Him-angel-1
22 | Why admit Two Prophets were not THERE? | Mark 9:1 | angel1 | 44178

23 | what does this mean in layman terms | Rom 12:1 | angel1 | 43651
Oh, Shelly! you speak the truth!and I am a person who has never felt "at home" in my body. Jesus has granted me some relief from this but it isn't as simple as it seems. My mind and spirit are in the right place but my "body" is a problem. Most reading this will assume this refers to "sex' but it does not. In himn angel-1
24 | our sacrifice and our faith | Rom 12:1 | angel1 | 43643
hi meusing-I'm sorry--I don't know " who" CHM is. Or why I should care about their interpretation. You hav'nt answered my question --I am sorry--but what you say sounds to me like "drival' and is not biblically based-in Him angel-1
25 | our sacrifice and our faith | Rom 12:1 | angel1 | 43507
Hi meusing--Who can disagree with scripture?--yet, I notice the absence of the name of Jesus in this post. there is no service except to Him. There is nothing about "springs" or "streams' in Rom. 12:1 "I beseech you ,therefore, bretheren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.". What do you mean by "creature streams?" and "ready obedience?"--Maybe you have it but the rest of us are still working on it--clay on the potter's wheel still being shaped. I know sometimes I seem "hostile " to others I don't mean to be so .I am very passionate for Jesus and mean only to diolog with others about Him and God's word. in Him angel-1
26 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 43486

27 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 43485
Hi Andy-it's7pm here in califusa-I just got home from work--I see your point and get it from another direction---If the jews had not been "blinded" then they would have accepted Jesus as messiah and we gentiles would have no chance .At the point that the jews accept Jesus as Messiah-it will all be over. If they saw Him they would not have opposed Him. Then He would not have died for our sins. all isin God's plan---in Him angel-1
28 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 43484
Hi meusing-let's go further on in John chptr12-vss37-41 especially vss. 40-41 " he hath blinded their eyes and hardened thair heart, that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and i should heal them" I don't think we are really in disagreement here-at least not serious disagreement--I wittness to every person I can jew or gentile--His name is Jesus--in Him angel-1
29 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 43393
Hi meusing-welcome to the discussion--Here's something from Jeremiah--chp.31 vs-37--Thus saith the Lord-If heaven above can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,I will also cast off all the seed of isreal for all that they have done-saith the Lord.--Yes they rejected HIM and we should be greatful to them for it---If they had not had their eyes "veiled" we gentiles would not have had a chance to be brought in and His death for our sins would not have taken place! They will "look on Him whom they have pierced" zechariah12:10 but not until "the fullness of the gentiles "has been brought in. in Him angel-1

34 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 43372
Hi Andy-It is 5 am in califusa 04 12 02--in vs.7 we come to "wittness" "marturia" which carries a "judicial" connotation and then in vss. 11-12 the word "received." This ,according to Strong's, carries the meaning that the Jews did not-"assume the office"-in vs 11- then it changes in vs 12 to lambano-"to take hold of"--grammaticaly the word is used only as "an alternative in certain tenses" I know this is not the kind of response you seek but it is what I'm being shown in this study.in Him angel-1
35 | trials | Isaiah | angel1 | 43129
Hi ck-There is something I've been shown lately. It is great to give and teach but sometimes we must be the one who receives. In receiving we "give" someone else the chance to practice giving. I say this knowing how hard it is for a giver to receive. in Him angel-1

38 | Isn't Prophecy a Spiritual Gift? | Isaiah | angel1 | 42798
Hi hank-"yet again" ?I don't see where the first response was--?i am sorry it is your "lot" to speak to me but if it is ---SO BE IT. Are you 'casiv" ? How do you know where casiv has gone? This response has an edge to it that makes me question . Are you being sarcastic? or am i reading it wrong?--in Him angel-1
39 | Isn't Prophecy a Spiritual Gift? | Isaiah | angel1 | 42796
Hi Tim-Thx for response . I know you will always give the analytical position. We need both-the analytical and the emotional. With both we have a whole. Thanks again--angel-1
40 | Isn't Prophecy a Spiritual Gift? | Isaiah | angel1 | 42684
casiv-I have just read this thread. --Completely-- I am so tired and I feel like the battle is true and I wonder ? what is all this argueing for? except to refocus the church onto vain arguments.Never once do you state your faith in JESUS. Where do you stand with HIM? Do you know Him or does it matter to you at all?-is this just an "intellectual" "excersise" ? in Him angel-1
