21 | Is Jesus YHWH? | OT general | TheFinalSQL | 107231
They did not know his name: Ex 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. LORD is JEHOVAH Joh 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Many think the name God gave here was Jesus. That is incorrect. He already had the name Jesus. According to the scriptures above the name God gave to Jesus is LORD or Jehavoh. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Is Jesus a Spirit? The answer to that question is yes and no. Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Definately not a Spirit at this time. 2 things make flesh, spirit and blood. Spirit: Joh 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Blood: Le 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. God is a Spirit. Spirit cannot die. Jesus Died. Ro 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Flesh can die. Spirit cannot. There was no blood in the body of Jesus. What raised Jesus from the dead? Spirit raised him, the Spirit of God. Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. God is in Jesus he is now Spirit, he can not die. That is why he has all power. That is why he is both High Priest and sacrifice: Ac 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Lord (Jehavoh), Christ (Messiah) A look to Revelations shows this chronology: Re 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. "and which was" God never was, God can not die. A mathmatical approach(Transitive Property): If A equals B and if C equals B then A equals C Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. If LORD, Jehavoh equals saviour Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; and Jesus Christ equals Saviour Then LORD equals Jesus Christ Jesus was flesh before the cross and Spirit after the cross: Flesh: Mt 26:11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. Jesus will not always be with us. Only 2 chapters later in Matthew, Spirit: Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. There was no blood in the body. No blood, no life of the flesh. Before you ask, I am not a Jehavoh's Witness, I am Apostolic. Praise the Lord! Norm |

"Jesus is not Jehovah, never was never will be. He is Jehovah's Son, Second in all the universe." Please show me in Revelations where Jesus said he is Beta and Omega. As far as I can see he said he is Alpha and Omega: Re 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Re 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Re 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Re 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Praise the Lord! Norm |

Paul covers this in 1 Cor 7, specifically verse 4: 1 Cor 7:1 Now concerning the things about which you wrote, it is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 But because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband. 3 The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. |

25 | Did Jesus actually go to Hell? | NT general Archive 1 | TheFinalSQL | 117965
"Preaching about the Kingdom of God was introduced by Christ Jesus" In paving the way I thought John the Baptist did the introduction: Matthew 3:1-2 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Anyway, Jesus descending and ascending and how we can chronologically put everything in the right order to comprehend, I think it is important to realize once you die you are in eternity. There is no time. Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Praise the Lord! Norm |

27 | why isn't the fourth commandment kept? | Ex 20:8 | TheFinalSQL | 119518
Here is another, we enter into the rest by believing in Jesus Christ: Hebrews 4:1-10 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Praise the Lord! Norm Praise the Lord! |

By saying he is not the same, I do not mean two different people. His attributes are different. He was exhalted by God. Notice in the two Matthew scriptures I quoted. Before the cross he said he would not always be with us. After the cross he said he would always be with us. Norm |

30 | work on Sundays | Deut 5:14 | TheFinalSQL | 104965
What time is it? We can not base the knowledge of when Sunday or Saturday is based on this joke of a calendar we use now, the Gregorian Calendar. Unless God reveals it to us or we dig up some very old writings, we do not know when the Sabbath is or any other day. Time that God gave to the Hebrews to observe the Sabbath is lost even in the New Testament. Norm |

31 | The Real stature of Satan | Is 14:16 | TheFinalSQL | 127015
14:12–14 fallen from heaven … be like the Most High. Jesus’ use of v. 12 to describe Satan’s fall (Luke 10:18; cf. Rev. 12:8–10) has led many to see more than a reference to the king of Babylon. Just as the Lord addressed Satan in His words to the serpent (Gen. 3:14,15), this inspired dirge speaks to the king of Babylon and to the devil who energized him. See Ezek. 28:12–17 for similar language to the king of Tyre and Satan behind him. 14:12 heaven. The scene suddenly shifts from the underworld to heaven to emphasize the unbridled pride of the king and Satan energizing him. Lucifer, son of the morning. Lit. “Lucifer” means “shining one,” but translators have often rendered it “morning star.” Tradition of the time saw the stars as representing gods battling among themselves for places of preeminence. 33 | Jesus said Don't Tell" about my miracle | Dan 9:25 | TheFinalSQL | 120255
In studying this you may find there are several decrees to rebuild the temple. However, with Daniel 9:25 the prophecy deals with the city Jerusalem being rebuilt, as found in Nehemiah. Even though Jesus probably knew the exact time to proclaim himself publically, he did not force this belief onto others, such as Judas to bring this to a conclusion. Praise the Lord! Norm |

No, Friday. Friday is day 1 Saturday is day 2 Sunday is day 3 John 19:31-33 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. I seen what you wrote in other posts in this thread. I like how you worded it. Water baptism alone, does not save us. If it did, we could save our selves or throw somebody in the water and they would be saved. How would you answer Peter's question (Acts 10:47) Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Praise the Lord! Norm |
