21 | What is your understanding? | John 17:26 | LoveisKind3 | 17445
John 17 is a Powerful prayer that Jesus prayed for us, for unity of believers, His Body, if u read it in context the prayer ends by affirming that Jesus came to reveal the Father, if u read the Gospels u find in many instances were Jesus always reveals the Father, for He is the Mediator between God and man. And that Gods Love for Jesus would be in us, as we love one another, because He is in us.
22 | Would you kindly explain this text. | 1 Cor 14:34 | LoveisKind3 | 20859
u have to understand the time period to understand that text. During the time it was written, men seated in one side and the women in the opposite side, when a subject came up, women would literally yelled at the other side (to their husband probably) with their opinions or comments, where it would be disruptive, cause they were being taught. So thats why Paul in his letter to the Corinthians stated that, to avoid confusion. If u read the whole chapter he is teaching them on how to use their gifts, probably they were all talking at the same time were it created confusion. Hope to have answered ur question. But read it urself and ask God to reveal it to u, with some study helps, like a concordance a dictionary and so on. God bless you. |

23 | What is the writer of Hebrews saying? | Hebrews | LoveisKind3 | 17438
Moses preferred to be reproached for Christ, knowing that his reward was greater, than the reward Egypt could give him, therefore he chose eternal reward rather than temporal.( It doesnt mean that God doesnt provide for u temporal,He does, but if u had to make a choice which would u choose? Moses had to choose between the two, and he wisely choose to be reproached) Would we choose the same? Help us LORD.
24 | Moses gave up and why? and looking for | Hebrews | LoveisKind3 | 17439
Again he (Moses) gave up the wordly for the Eternal...looking forward into the future when Christ would come to Redeem mankind by His death on the Cross, and looking for a city whose Builder is God. To the why he made that choice,'cause God gives u the choice to either follow Him or the world, and if we love Him, we will always follow Him and His ways, the rewards is eternal and greater than we can ever imagine. Eye have not seen nor ears heard the things that God has prepared for those who love HIM. ( Pharaph) Good questions.
25 | explain come unto mount si'on | Hebrews | LoveisKind3 | 17441
Mose went to Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments by God (Law) Hebrews is reiterating Law versus Grace. In Romans 6:1 Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. When Moses descended from Mt Sinai The Glory of God was so Awesome on Moses that he had to cover his face. After Jesus died on the Cross for our sins and Rose again, He went to prepare a Place for us, much more Glorious, Mt Sion ( also Zion) is alluding to our Heavenly Jerusalem (our home) which Jesus has prepared Thru His Redempive work on the Cross. Alleluja!
