Christ means;"ANOITED ONE" make no mistake about it Jesus Christ is God. As Christ the Son "Jesus" came to earth to redeem men unto Himself. Eph. 1:10 is speaken of God the Father and Son. If you go back to Ps. 2:4-8; this is the Father making a covenant with the Son. In verse 8 the Father promises the Son the world as an inheritance. The gathering together in Christ both which in heaven and which are in earth "Eph. 1:10" is that inheritance. Jesus as the Son of God was obedient to the Father and came to died for our sins "Phil. 2:6-8." God the Father being pleased with the Son gathers all things in Him "Dan. 2:4." | ||||||

The penalty of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life (Rom 6:23). THRUOGH JESUS CHRIST work of redemption our salvation is complete (Heb 5:9). Our dept was paid by Christ at calvery, His blood has purchased our souls (1 Cor 6:20). We become God's children (Rom 8:15-17). Here's the key, unlike a normal adoption God gives us new birth (John 3;3) along with this comes a new desire for a God's will (Heb 8:10). Christ-like character (Eph 2:10, Gal 2;20) True beleivers indeed may fall frequently and foully, but not totally nor finally from God (Rom 8:35-39); the purpose and power of God (Eph 1:11), the purchase and prayer of Christ (John 17;2,9,11,12,18-26) the promise of the gospel (John 4:14) the everlasting covenant that God has made with them (Heb.10:15-18) ordering in all things and sure, the indwelling of the Spirit which has sealed us until the day of redemption (Eph.1:13,14). MANY WILL TALK OF FREE WILL AND OVERLOOK THE NEW DESIRE GOD GIVES HIS CHOSEN. THAT IT WHY JESUS SAYS:"NONE WILL BE LOST"(JOHN 6:37-40)PETER SAID:"TO WHOM SHALL WE GO?
