24 | onset of despair in early adulthood | Rom 8:28 | G. Preston | 232181
We have all experienced despair of some magnitude. That alone does not assist you but, successful removal from the bondage often lies in the experience of others. It can be a challenge/opportunity for one to look inward and examine Christian commitment,life style,overall history and realistic goals. Its' solution most often includes attention to prayer and request to G-d for help. Seeking professional social review of ones challenges may be beneficial. Discussions with your minister and/or a good Christian friend also may be useful tools. It could be helpful to others if you wished to share your efforts and achievements of success from the challenges. |

27 | KJ Version | Bible general Archive 4 | G. Preston | 232154
Money/attempts to distort/discredit G-ds word. Individualism/personal legacy and monuments. The KJV...with it's human translation errors (Ghost from the Greek word Nuema means Spirit)...is the closest thing we have from the origional manuscripts. Level of the 6th grade...arguably...but, for obvious reasons. But, the important elements is without error. |

28 | who was thrown out of heaven and why | Bible general Archive 4 | G. Preston | 232153
Luifer and part of his angels. Upon arriving at his new abode he became satan. Lucifer was a great and mighty angel who went astray. It would appear he was a special assistant to G-d...in earthly terms...G-ds vice president. He had his own band of angels. It could be interpreted that his ego took over and he attempted to replace G-d on The Great White Throne. A war occured and thus his expulison. |

29 | Will we be young in heaven? | Ps 51:5 | G. Preston | 232151
I am not aware the Bible speaks of age. However, it does address environment...serene...no pain, no illness, no death, happy, restful, peaceful, beautiful, no sin and eternal. I don't see age as being important. Remember we will all have new, immortal bodies. When we apply the above into a mental picture I think it is fair to say it is inviting and a place we should all want to be. Don't you? |

30 | babies life after death in heaven? | Bible general Archive 4 | G. Preston | 231838

33 | left behind/rapture | 1 Thessalonians | G. Preston | 231652
"Rapture".... is man's reference word to capture the Bible wording of...'being taken up'. If I underdstand your writing correctly...you have it reversed. The ones being taken up(Raptured) are the sleeping(dead)and live repented/Baptised and righteous members of God's body of followers....often referred to as the ..."Philadelphia Church". According to scriptures those left behind will go through the tribulation period. |

You reach out to them as you would to any other sinner. A sinner is a sinner is a sinner! |

36 | Everybody dies with recent sins | Bible general Archive 4 | G. Preston | 231568
Allow me to extend my point; Everyone has their pattern for asking forgiveness. For example; I ask morning and night,also, during the day when I recognize I have sinned. After many years G-d knows my plan...therefore ...should I suddenly be taken...illness or accident...He knows that I would have again asked for forgiveness....except that I did not have time to do so. He imputes forgiveness.(This was demonstrated by Him... imputing forgiveness... of the thief on the cross at His crucifixion) This is a common sense thing. G-d Himself determines when and how we end this physical life. Remember it is His desire that no one perish. |

38 | Do you go to hell if you kill yourself | Bible general Archive 4 | G. Preston | 231547
To my knowledge...IT doesn't. Killing is a sin. How can you seek forgiveness for the sin since you would be dead? This is a common sense thing...... which is asked often. |
||||||
39 | no joy,no strength | Job 1:1 | G. Preston | 231507
Your experience is heart wrenching...at least. May I suggest you study the book of Job. While doing that be keenly aware that G-d said Job was ..."a perfect servant"....to my knowledge the only one G-d made that level of reference about in the Bible. Remember, G-d tells us that he will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can handle...with His help thru prayer. He even tells us we may have to give our life itself for following him. Also remember it is satan's effort to thwart our following of Christ. There are good christian social counselors which can help. Seek them out. Stay resolute in Christ to the end. |
||||||
40 | Job 1.6 - God's court | Job 1:1 | G. Preston | 231503
If you mean "his"..satan's...NO! Satan is allowed to attack...ONLY...should an act fits G-d's plan for that person. The magnitude/level of attack is determined by our Father. Study Job 1;7 and two further episodes in following chapters of Job....demonstrating this point. |
