21 | Can a man know God without a Bible? | Rom 10:17 | Arnie | 41977
Hi Scribe, God has spoken in various ways over the years, since Christ came God has spoken through Him. Heb 1:1-2 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; KJV John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. KJV John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. KJV I guess the the Word has always been here, it is now in the written form we know as the bible. The answer would be, we must have the "Word" in one way or another to be saved. Arnie |

22 | jesus takes the sting out of death | 1 Cor 15:55 | Arnie | 41810
Simleytrina, I not sure of any passages where Jesus took keys from Satan but the following might be helpful. 1 Cor 15:54-57 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. KJV Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. KJV Arnie |

24 | John 2, 1-11water into wine was it Juice | Eph 5:18 | Arnie | 41805
In John 2:10 the Greek word for wine is "oinos" which means wine. It must have alcohol in it as in Eph 5:18 the same word is used in condeming getting drunk. Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; KJV We know the bible teaches moderation in everything especially if it should make your brother stumble you should abstain from it. Rom 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. KJV My understanding is drinking an alcoholic beverage is fine as long as it is in moderation. Arnie |

25 | restitution | 2 Pet 3:1 | Arnie | 41185
Dear Scott, I don't think you are reading the question right, I'm asking about those who have never had a first chance to accept Christ in their life time, I know once Christ has been rejected, there is no second chance.
