201 | what does the spirit man know? | Luke | DAIRYLEADER5 | 85256
Luke ,16;19 start there,The soulish state should not be confused with what a lot of teachers teach about, purgatory, purgatory is a lie and a deception, its against everything Jesus taught us about the next life. In luke we learn that the rich man lifted up his eyes our of torment. The Bible here tells us that the people in Hell or Sheol, have total memory and all their sences. The ones who have died in christ are according to scripture are in a sleep state, untill the resurection.I hope this helps you.
202 | husband leave wife for God | Luke | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86560
Luke 18;28-30, The Bible tells us that if an unbeliever and a believer live together and the believer is not hindered in serving God that they are to stay together. The difference in translations is apparent I think there is just amissunderstanding with the translator. i read the KJV, people say its harder to understand but to me its easer because it doesnt candy coat a lot that the other translations do. We are to stay together and divorce only for the cause of fornication. I hope this helps.

204 | I'm skeptical | Luke 14:26 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 101223
Seeking4truth, Christians have a tendency to ignore questions that are contriversial. Jesus was one who loved contriversy. He always answered the tough ones. But you also hafe to remember that sometimes Jesus answered a question with a question. The question of God telling us to love our enemies and then later telling us that He would destroy His enemies is just a matter of context and timeing. When His enemies refuse to heed the call to repentance, their time runs out.Case and point, armageddon. Some of the enemies of God are unrightiouness and sin, some are spiritual and some are fisical.Choose one or the other and you could get a debate from others what it means.Ive counceled a number of people as yourself, who are looking for answers, who are unsure of what to believe. Remember that christians are people, who are fallable, we all make mistakes. The Bible states that the scripture is, spiritually decerned, which means, that the Holy Ghost is the one who leads us into the truth of the word, so we hafe to be open to Him for guidence. Once you start to open yourself to the spirit ,then you will recieve your answers, directly from God.Get deeper into prayer and fasting and then watch the doors of heavan open up to you and your answers will come. And you will see that there are no contridictions in the Bible only answers that we havent asked the right questions to yet.DL5

208 | Questions and more questions? | Luke 14:26 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 101658
Seeking4truth, Looking at your question of being born again. I would like to give you my interpretation, John 3:6, That which is born of the flesh is flesh. The flesh here is the physical or biological part of humanity. Jesus was born into 1st Adam. 1st Adam was earthly, sinsual, develish. As we are all born into 1st adam we all die in the flesh. And that which is born of the spirit is spirit Jesus was the last, Adam. We as christians were born into 1st adam and we will live in last Adam. Being born again, is not only in the mind. people who are only born again in the mind generally fall at the first sign of trouble. There is no rooting or strength within them selves, they are still in 1st adam. There are what I call Part time Christians. Undependiable, easyly swayed by all forms of doctrine and weak in faith. Being born again is a reversal or regeneration of you soul and spirit. That person within you who makes you, you.Its what makes us who we are. Being born again, is the willful change of who we are not just in mind but in soul and spirit. A complete change of ourself.Doing away with mans ignorance, wisdon, knowledge and understanding. And accepting, spiritual visions, kingdoms, dominons, mysteries and regeneration.Being able to say that I am not the center of the universe but I am who I am by the grace of God. Being able to look at others welfare better than your own. This is my thoughts .DL5
209 | Where did the dead go prior to Jesus | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86075
The Bible tells us that the dead before jesus went to Sheol-Hades. This is a real place. prov.9;18, Psms.86;13., 9;17., 88;3., 89;48., 49;15., In the Old Test it is listed 65 times. jesus said, "There was a Rich man, remember, Jesus told parables not stories. If you look it up sheol has two different compartments, one for the just and the other for the unjust.
210 | goodnewsminister. When did Gentiles hear | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86079
Searcher this is what I know about the questions you asked, Ive got to go out for a while but heres a start. Daniels 70th week started 444B.C. When there was a decree of Artaxerxes for Jews to restore and rebuild Jeruslam, Walls. Dan.9;25, Neh 2;5-8, dan 9;1,20-23.And the 70 th week doesnt stop untill after the third temple has been built and the rule of the 4th beast. Any other questions Ill be glad to answer later.
211 | Where did the dead go prior to Jesus | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86090
if you notice, lets go back to what you said, Lazarus is Dead. We have two different people here. with two different messages from Jesus.the Bible states that It is appointed unto man once to be born, die, and judgement. The Lazerua I speek of is Luke16; 19 thru 31. It says in short that the rich man died and was buried, it doesnt say that Lazerus was buried does it?. No "And was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom;"., The other in John was for jesus to prove that he is the resurection. Two different accounts.what were talking about here is two different things the dead and their bodies. Our bodies are put into the grave but not our soul and spirit, the bible conferms this even to the old testiment saints. Im sorry you dont agree but I can only say what the Bible says.As far as sheol meaning grave and the end of the world the word sheol means, "Underworld", in the depts of the earth, the abode of the dead." Peace to you in Jesus.
212 | Where did the dead go prior to Jesus | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86092
Just to add a note. Even tho one be raised from the dead they will still not believe. Thats the reason the Bible never gives account of people talking about the subject. Interesting point about Jesus in Psalms 16;10.There was a conversation between Jesus and Lazarus and the deciples, in my opinion John 12;1-11. Have a great day.
213 | goodnewsminister, 5 yrs after Pentecost? | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86097
According to Daniel 9;27, at the begining of the second half of the 70th week, the antichrist will break his covenant with Israel, and it will be broken for 31/2 years, time, times and hafe a time. Since the first 69 weeks or 69 ,7s, were fullfilled, the last 7 years has yet to be fulfilled.daniel didnt say the 70th week was concurrent, we hafe to look at what he was proficying. Its easy to get confused.
214 | Where did the dead go prior to Jesus | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86125
look again at the two accounts, the one Lazarus is a begger, the other is a frend to Jesus. These two accounts are definatly two different people.Psalm 16;10 For thou will not leave my soul in Hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption. luke 4;18, Proverbs 9;18, Acts 2;27-34,.Matthew.27;50., Luke 23;43, look real close to Eph. 4 8-10, We as Christians will not be partaker of the second death. Hell is not the final place for those without Christ, the Lake of fire is, These scriptures of Rev. you raised are self explanitory.Believing in allegorys is fine but where it comes to the gospel we hafe to be careful not to confuse the two. And if the Bible says that the Rich man lifted up his eyes from hell, and that he was in torment then its true. The rich man ,out of his mortal body was in torment. And if God in Gen. 2;7 hadnt breathed life into man then man would not have a soul and we would not be having this conversation. The Bible says that the worm dieth not, the worm here is the soul,. We also hafe to look at the words, Sheol, Tartarus, Gehenna, Hades and Hell itself.luke 16;19-31 is not a parable but is what actually happened. Thats about all I can think of right now, i believe that too many people try to read the Gospells as all parables or alligories, they go one extreem to the other, God made it simple. if you dont agree with me, thats O.K. we all have the right to agree to disagree, but it doesnt meen that we dont love each other in Christ.
215 | goodnewsminister, 5 yrs after Pentecost? | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86127
I agree ,dont take our word for anything look it up yourself, in Dan 7;8,19-26, Dan 9;27, and Dans., 7;23-25, 11;36-39, he talks about the last of the 70th week, where the antichrist puts his immage in the temple and causes it to speek, this is the abomination of desolation jesus speeks about and It Hasnt Happened Yet, why, because the third temple hasnt been built yet., the dome of the rock sits on the site of solomans temple.Look at Dan 9;27 real close. Love in jesus.
216 | Where did the dead go prior to Jesus | Luke 16:23 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 86131
Its a good example of a resurected man talking, even thou the Bible doesnt state what was discussed, I believe that Lazarus and Jesus and those in attendance had a real good conversation. Just a thought to think on.there are a few good examples of the dead speeking in scripture.
217 | Questions on Luke 17: 5-10 | Luke 17:10 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 101488
Mommapbs, This verse is explaining to us that to do our duty to God, does not require God to reward us. For example ,if we are paid to do a job then should our employer, thank us or reward us for doing that for which we are paid to do. No.The Last sentance in the verse explanes all, we have done that which was our duty.If we are doing things for God, expecting self prase for it then we have allready recieved our reward. 218 | The Rapture, A comming event. | Luke 21:36 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 96983
The Rapture, a comming event. To begin with what is prophecy, it the study of future events. There are a few that think, that the rapture has allready happened and that Jesus has allready set up His kingdom on earth . Im here to show that this type of thinking was the same in Pauls time., Lets look at 2nd Thes.2:1-5. A letter had been forged in Pauls name and was sent to the church stateing that the rapture had allready taken place, his answer confirmed that the rapture indead, had not taken place,..."That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, nether by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that day of Christ is at hand,...Let no man decieve you,...", Isnt that what were hearing today? Prophecy has to follow specific time lines that were set up by God. There are over 230 prophetic verses in scripture that hafe to line up and be fulfilled, before the rapture can take place. There are two distinct phases, listed in scripture, may I say, more than once, the first is the rapture and thee second is the Glorious Appearing. Some references for this are. Mt.24:29-31, 25:31-46, Rev 19:11-21., and Daniel 2:35-44. Ill start with a cronology of the rapture. 1. John 14:1-3., 1st.Thes. 4:16., 2. John 14:1-3. 3. 1 Thes.4:14-15 .,4. 1 Thes 4:16., 1cor 15:52., 5. 1Thes.4:16., 6. same vers, different action. 7.1Thes 4:16,17 same vers different action.., 8. 1 Cor. 15:51,53., 9. 1 Thes. 4:17, different action, 10 and 11 same vers again a different action. 12John 14:3., 13.1st. Thes4:17 different action,. 14. Romans 14:10.,2nd cro. 5:10 in part 3:11-15 and last but not least, 15. Math 24:21 To put a summery to the first lesson, look at John 14:,3., 2nd cor. 5:8-10 and last Rev. 19:1-10. These last three hafe to be read inconjunction with each other,. This is pg.1.DL5

220 | Us or them, for now or dead with Apostle | John | DAIRYLEADER5 | 85131
the hebrew word for breath is naphach, this verse is for us also, remember that the scripture tells us if we forgive then, or Heavanly Father will also for give us, its hard sometimes for people to believe that God would grant us the same power that the deciples had but its true, the gifts of the spirit are available to all thoses who ask, we have the power within ourselves to forgive sin against us. If the scriptures are to be believed then all the scriptures are to be believed. I ve had people to tell me that, "well i believe this part but i dont that part" then is this person calling God a lyer?Jesus said that He ,the Father and the Holy Spirit will come and make their abode within us. we are the ambasidores of Christ, and sense God has no respect of person then the same power the deciples and the apostile paul had we can have by believeing and asking, isnt that what the bible tells us. I wholehartedly believe so. I hope this helps.look at james 1;22 thru 25, also 1 corn.12;1 thru 11.
