101 | only real commandment??? | Matt 22:1 | C.S.M. | 155551
Matt 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. I see this as the hinges to a door, love God, and love your neighbor. When the hinges to the door are in place it takes care of the opening of the door into God's presence. God is love, he doesn't just have love. Everything he does is motivated by love, and he wants his children transformed into his image. If our motivation for everything we think, say and do is love, we won't oppose the one true God, and we won't steal, kill or destroy our neighbor. In essence he's saying, love is the weight bearer in the kingdom of heaven and on earth. Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

103 | God dosn't love everybody???? | Rom 9:13 | C.S.M. | 155492
Jeff, You are absolutely right, I agree totally! I also teach adults, so that is "the" ministry :) Because,I enjoy serving God through the teaching ministry gift he has given. All glory is his, not mine. Without him, I can do nothing...John 15:5. Jesus said,"I do nothing of myself" John 8:28, and further stated "The Son can do nothing of himself". John 5:19. That should burst some people's bubble. Jesus relied on God the Father to work through him, just like we have to rely on Jesus by the Holy Spirit to work through us. Amazing isn't it. We must remember, however, Jesus is our example, especially in this area, in God. May all the God given talents be blessed to the hilt. Always In Christ, C.S.M. |

104 | clean body natural and spiritual | Bible general Archive 2 | C.S.M. | 155488
Hello to you CDBJ, Not at all. I realize that as an “earth walker”, we as humans are spirit, soul and body I Thes 5:23. We are a three part being, and God revealed that to us in his word, in my understanding, so that we could “rightly divide the word of truth” II Tim 2:15, in this area also. We understand that the spirit of man is eternal, it is in God’s image. John 4:24 “God is a Spirit”...it is his image! In fact that is why all spirits, saved or lost, will live forever. God is “The” eternal Spirit that created all spirits, so all spirits live forever, even satan and his demons according to the word. Saved spirits live forever in heaven, lost spirits live forever in hell. When the spirit of man leaves the natural body, we say the person “died”. From the natural standpoint, from our view naturally, the physical body no longer has “life” or the Spirit of the Eternal God ,John 1:4, within it, so it dies and decays. In other words, God is the source of all life, light, matter etc. yes, the spirit can be seperated from the body, and is, in a persons death. The soul, (the mind, will and emotions) are in tact with the spirit, otherwise the rich man in hell could not have known Lazarus, called out to Abraham to send him with water..etc.Luke 16:20-25, but we are aware the body “dies”while we are on this earth. The good news? Eph 1:14 speaks of “the redemption of the purchased possession” and Ro 8:23 speaks of “the redemption of our body” being the “adoption” spoken of in Ephe 1:5 It is the natural body which is in the “bondage of corruption (i.e. natural death)” Ro 8:21, 25 and it further states “we patiently wait for it” meaning the redemption of our natural bodies to incorruptible bodies. You will see this when you read the portions noted in context and ask the Lord to reveal it to you. Christ not only died to save our human spirits, but for our natural bodies at the resurrection, at the last trump, didn’t he. I Cor 15:50-57. It’s a win, win situation!! Is your profile in the record. I looked and I do not see that portion of the program on the site. I’m sure I’m overlooking it.. Always In Christ, C.S.M. |

105 | God dosn't love everybody???? | Rom 9:13 | C.S.M. | 155447
Jeff, If there are no new seedlings, there wouldn't be any church. I believe the teaching of children is THE ministry of the church. I do not like to see them shuttled off into only playing games and watching cartoons. My fondest memory as a child was a radio program my mother found that had the stories of the old testament dramatized. I can remember trying to stay at the door as long as possible to hear the end of the story then having to run to get to school on time. I was about seven at the time and God was already planting seeds of faith in my heart by the teaching of his word. In Matt it tells us the three fold ministry of Jesus was teaching, preaching and healing. I find it interesting that the teaching always comes first. Children can learn the deepest meaning of scripture if it is given to them on a basis they can relate to in their young years. Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the adjustment, and of course you are absolutely correct. The language used does belong to Christ. My reason for using the A.S.K. scripture is that I teach very small children from 5 to 11, and they can understand that if they ask Jesus, he will do what they ask, in salvation and other areas of their life. It builds their trust in prayer to God, is simple to employ, and they should never forget, God never lies by using a.s.k. James said, You have not because you ask not... Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

107 | Spirit Baptism | Acts 8:12 | C.S.M. | 155431
Hi Iktoose, Yes, the Holy Spirit comes and baptizes you into the body of Christ. The body of Christ did not exist until God sent the Holy Spirit when Jesus was exalted at his right hand. Yes, when a person asks Jesus into their heart, it is the Holy Spirits work to put them into the body of Christ (refer to the previous scripture given in the last post.) It is also the Holy Spirit that empowers them to be witnesses, or perhaps another way to say it is, fills them with Himself and gives them utterance, so they can speak to God in a heavenly language, by the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4, And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, AND began to speak with tongues, (how?) as the (Holy) Spirit gave them utterance (or speach). Again Jesus said that was to empower believers Acts 1:8, and as you study the happenings when the apostles laid hands on people that same thing happened to them. It is what God told John would come, AFTER the Holy Ghost was dispatched to earth, AFTER Jesus went back to heaven. God didn't tell them everything. But Peter, whom Jesus said, had the KEYS to the kingdom of heaven, discerned what was happening. He recognized it was the fulfilling of Joel 2:28 where God had prophesied through Joel that this would happen in the future. Little did he know it would be thousands of years until that time. That was none of his business, it was God's, and he, as a prophet, had learned that God says some things that are pertinent to the day and also to thousands of years later. There is a five fold ministry, God set in the church, Eph 4:11 He gave some (not all) apostles, SOME prophets, SOME evangelists, SOME pastors and SOME teachers. Note he didn't say everyone would do those things.. Think about it, if everyone was doing the same thing, who would you minister to? Think of Israel, God chose one twelveth of the whole nation to be priest, not all 12 tribes! It's the same with the five fold ministry..Some, not all, are put in the offices. For what purpose? Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ. Jesus was the first body builder. Arnold Swartznigger doesn't even hold a candle to Jesus :) Oops, being wordy again...sorry... No, all people do not have the same job from God. It is God's choice who is an apostle, etc, it is not just because a person decides to "be" an apostle. It doesn't work that way. Hope this is not to wordy...and we are on the same page. There is a work of the Holy Spirit in putting us into the body of Christ, there is a second work of the Holy Spirit to equip the church for ministry "TO" the body of Christ. Isn't that what the Apostles were doing? And yes, water baptism is an outward testimony to all people that your allegience is to Jesus Christ, but that the work has already been done BEFORE you were baptized. An outward show, of an inward change. The new creature God created is what saves you, the baptism is Johns, of repentance, water baptism, not this baptism for service. Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

According to Jesus, he owns and has access to, everything that God has. Most people do not have a problem with that statement. But he didn't stop there. Jesus said, you have the same access to God that he has. Mind boggeling? Yes! But I didn't say it, the Lord Jesus said it. He knows, and revealed it unto the body of Christ, if they only believe what he said. Without giving you what God has showed to me, go to God yourself and ask him to show you everything he has for you as a believer. Be ready to run to keep up with him, because he will do what you ask in this area. After he shows you some things you didn't know before, let me know, what you have In Christ, through Christ, with Christ, by Christ and many other such statements in the New Testament. Happy hunting.... Always In Christ, |

Hi Mark, All of Romans 1:1-32, in my understanding, is showing the downward "degeneration" of a human being, that is going farther away from God. It was not that they did not know God Ro 1:19, but the issue was, after they realized God exists, by the wrath of God being revealed, they "became vain in their imaginations (i.e. self-will), and their foolish hearts were darkened (turned to hatred, which is satan). Psm 14:1 The fool: has said in HIS HEART there is no God. If a person declares there is no God, from God's viewpoint, that person is a fool. That is where satan works the hardest is to keep mankind from coming to God. John 3:16 We should be asking God all the questions being asked here,James 1:5, and getting the pure truth from the study of God's word,John 17:17, and the revelation from God, James 1:21-22 in that process. Therefore they degenerated into idol worship, whether of their own wisdom, their flesh (natural) earthly appetites, which James 3:14-16, says is "earthly, sensual, devilish, wisdom." or just chose to be a Psm 14:1 person. The second question, as I perceive God's word, we are to go "from glory (understanding) to glory (understanding)" and be made in the image of God's Son Ro 8:29. How does he do this? II Cor 5:17 Therefore, if ANY MAN (that includes all of us) be IN CHRIST, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Gal 6:15 For IN CHRIST JESUS neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (avails it all). This new creature is the spirit of man, created of God, by the new birth of that spirit. I Thes 5:23, We are a spirit, we have a soul, we live in a body (an earth suit, designed for our comparatively short stay on earth. That is, compared to eternity.) No, God does not improve our flesh, that's our job, AFTER salvation only. You cannot work FOR savation, but there is much work on understanding, and becomeing doers of God's word, AFTER we are saved. I use the example of a baby being born into the world. They are helpless, uneducated, demanding, needy, growing, learning, maturing, through many stages of growth. That is how I see the salvation experience, and have experienced the salvation experience. I have come to recognize this is not a 30 second sprint, but a life-long, continual learning, changeing, growing, adjusting to fit God, endeavor. Think about it, when you were a baby you didn't know anything you know now. How did you get from there to here? By the process named above. God will never replace your self will. We must be willing, as Jesus was, and is willing, to be on this earth's surface with this testimony, "I came to do thy will O God." John 4:34, John 6:38 and many more statements of Jesus on this theme. This is testified in Phil 2:5-11 Paul speaking of the example Jesus left us to follow, Let this mind be in you...it is a matter of you "letting" or choosing to think like Jesus, speak like Jesus and do like Jesus AFTER you asked him to save you. There’s a difference between before and after! How do you do that? Read everything he said. Know that is who you are and what you are supposed to be doing, follow his example in every area of your life, and when God gets through with you, you'll be his exact image! Think you can't get there from where you are? That's no biggie for God. God is bigger than what's the matter, he is able (fit and qualified) to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL we ask or think. Eph 3:20-21 So just THINK BIG, don't limit God by what you think he can or will do. Just always base it on what he says we can have. If he doesn't say we can have it, we don't need it anyway. But just know, there are tons of stuff in the Bible for believers. If you are a believer, quit reading those things written to unbelievers. Say this to yourself, "I am in Christ, he is my head, I am his body Eph 1:22-23, therefore because my head is a believer, his body, (which is me),is a believer. I, as his body, have everything my head has." Don't believe that? Want a scripture for it? John 16:15 Jesus, our head, said, "All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he (the Holy Spirit) will take of mine (all the Father has), and shall SHOW IT UNTO YOU." Didn’t it just say he is our head and we are his body? Does your body go anywhere without your head? Or vise versa? No? Jesus and his body are the same way. C.S.M. see next post |

Obi1Kanobe, Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ, who wrote approximately two thirds of the New Testament under the inspiration of the HOly Spirit, directed by God the Father said this to all mankind. I Cor 16:22 If ANY MAN (that includes all of us human beings)love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. (margin says: cursed of God). If any person puts another person, place, thing or doctrine before the Lord Jesus Christ. Gal 1:8-9 But though we (that included Paul and us), or an angel from heaven, preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that which we have preached to you, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. (9) As we said before, so say I now again, If ANY MAN preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you that that you have received (from this Holy Bible, Paul is writing into, by the HOly Spirit of God), let HIM BE ACCURSED. I don't know about anyone else, or what they will do, but as for me, I will stick like glue, to the Holy Bible, God had canoized, which only includes the things written therein that cannot be added to or taken from.. Rev 22:18-19 Jesus testified to the accuracy of the Holy Bible: "For I testify unto EVERY MAN that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If ANY MAN shall add unto these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book: (19) And if ANY MAN shall take away from the word of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (20) He which testifies these thing says, Surely I Come quickly. Amen." Who was this? John the revelator, said Rev 22:21 "Even so, come, LORD JESUS,." It was the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus himself said, we are not to go to another doctrine, but to the doctrine written by the men recorded in the Holy Bible only, with no additions or subtractions. I can't speak for anyone else, but I believe my Lord Jesus Christ, and another I will not follow. This is by the Authority of the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, that's the highest authority in the universe! Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

Hi CDBJ, Section: Bible general General question: Difference between Flesh and Spirit, August 5, 2005 Section: Bible general Original Question how is a person to maintain a clean body in relation, to the natural and spirit. I Cor 15:39 All flesh is NOT the same flesh Ask then how many kinds are there? 1. Men 2. beasts 3. fish 4. birds 5. bodies; terresterial 6. celtial..glory; 7. of the sun 8. of the moon 9. of the stars God wants us to be able to compare, see differences, make right choices in what we experience on this earth walk we are taking. To do that he points out all flesh is not the SAME... In speaking of mankind, we know we have a natural body, made of what we call flesh. This flesh to operate has cells, bones, blood, organs, the things needed to run this flesh body. We also are a spiritual "body". I Thes 5:23 God points out there are other kinds of natural bodies and names them. God points out there are different natural glories for each. If you stop and think about what God names and how each thing works, you will discern that glory has to mean the usefulness of any given subject in this context. In another sense, from the spiritual standpoint, flesh is what Paul called it, "for I know that in me, that is, in my flesh is no good thing. (why Paul?)for TO WILL is always present with me." Ro 7:18 Here we see, self-will, is in opposition to God's will, therefore Paul called it (spiritual) flesh. The deeds (or works) of the flesh, are performed by mankinds self-will, not God's will. Gal 5:19 God's will is his written word on every subject. God's word is God's will. If that were not so, why are we reading God's word to find out what is right and wrong, according to God's will? We must understand, that when a person is born again, their flesh does not change, their self will does not change, it must be retrained by God's word. I Tim 4:16 "Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you." John 8:31-32, God's truth is God's word, his doctrine, his will on every subject..and Jesus said, if you continue in the word, the word or God's truth will set you free...John 17:17 Because God's word is his will, no one can say, "you never know what God will do." He has it in the book, If all else fails...Read it again Sam. You will eventually get what God is saying, how to apply it, and you will have had your exercise.. Heb 5:13-14 For every one that uses milk is UNSKILFUL in THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (God himself); for he is a babe: (14) BUT strong meat (God’s word on every subject) belongs to them that are of full age (mature in God and his word, his will), even those who BY REASON OF USE have their senses exercised to discern both good (i.e. God) and evil (i.e. satan). You don't want a garden of Eden experience where you lose out with God do you? You want a resurrection experience with the risen Lord, Jesus Christ, where you have a win, win, situation eternally. How do you keep a clean body naturally? Do the opposite of Gal 5:18-21. How do you keep a clean body spiritually? Do Gal 5:22-25 Always in Christ, C.S.M. |

Persecution and Longing to know Christ August 5, 2005 Question (short): PERSECUTION Obi1Kanobe Hi Obi... Jesus is the Lord of all the universe. If you ask him to save you, he will save you, because he never lies! Num 23:19 God is not a man that he should lie Acts 5:3 satan is the source of lies, John 8:44 I John 1:6 God is light, life John 1:4, Love I John 4:8 Lord means : supreme authority Greek concordance definition Jesus means: the savior that came to save his people from their sins Matt 1:21 Christ means: the anointed one, I John 2:27, the Son of the Living God Matt 16:16, The way, truth and life (of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) John 14:6 If we ask God, who cannot lie, to save us, then if we say he has not done what he said he would do, we are calling God a liar! Faith is: what God has said on every subject relative to the world, flesh, devil and mankinds will. So then faith comes (how?) by hearing (in your spirit), and hearing (God through and) by the word of God..(the written, Living and spoken). Ro 10:17 Faith is God’s written word, spoken word and Living Word. 1. The Bible is Gods: written word (his thoughts, words, deeds) 2. Jesus is Gods: Living Word (his supreme authority, savior, way, truth and life (-style). God’s exact image...and example to us..Heb 1:3 3. Spoken word: our agreement with God and his word on three levels spoken out our mouth. Jesus said, “by YOUR words you shall be justified and by YOUR words you shall be condemned.” Matt 12:34-37 Jesus said, each human being is responsible to God for every word we speak, and by these words we will either be free or condemned. That makes our words of primary importance when speaking to God or to mankind! Our words must be in agreement with God and His word on all three levels! When we a.s.k. God to save us, God who cannot lie, saves us. The devil will come back and whisper in your ear. You’re not saved, you can’t be saved until you stand before God. Satan knows if he can keep you out of God’s written word, you will know nothing of God’s Living Word, Jesus, and he can keep you in disagreement with God until your spirit leaves this mortal (death doomed) body and he will have you in his court. Satan is the author of death, because it is written... The last enemy (not a friend) to be destroyed is death I Cor 15:26 Jesus gave us power over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19 Jesus identified who our real enemy is..Matt 13:39 The enemy that sowed them IS THE DEVIL... Jesus is the only one who can satisfy your longing to know him. You cannot know another person by asking someone else “about” that person. You must go to that person and get aquainted with them yourself. Then you can say, “I know in whom I have believed, and am persuaded he is able ( Greek: fit and qualified) to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” II Tim 1:12 Let Jesus turn your knower on! Ask him, listen to his answers, he will guide you, like he guides all other people, by his word, his love, his faith, his compassion. Always in Christ: C.S.M. |

115 | God dosn't love everybody???? | Rom 9:13 | C.S.M. | 155413
The correct question to ask is: Do all people love God? Aug 5, 2005 Hi Doyle, To understand this I used Eph 1:6, God's acceptance of any human being, from his viewpoint, is "always in Christ" and it is called his grace. So God's grace is his acceptance of us in Christ Jesus. This is what theologians call "being born again", I call it a.s.k. and you shall receive...John 14:13-14, John 3:16-17. I John 4:8..God is love, he doesn't just have love, he IS LOVE. He is the only source there is of love and we draw from his source, God himself. The definition of Love, which is the essence and character of God is I Cor 13:4-8. Here it is translated "charity" but the Greek concordance says "love". Love is a person, God himself, and love manifests himself in the actions of I Cor 13:4-8 and verse 8 tells us Love "always" succeeds!!! (never fails but always succeeds ) Isn't that just like God! The opposite of love then is hate which is the nature and character of satan. Yes, I know God said he hated Esau. That is another way to say he "rejected" Esau, because Esau, rejected God and his thoughts, words and deeds, his provision for the first born of the family and Esau sold his God given birthright for a piece of bread! That's contempt isn't it? God will not force anyone to serve or love him. It is a voluntary obedience by mankind toward God, because they realize the treasure that God himself is to us. I John 1:5 says God is light! He doesn't just have a light, he is the source of light and in him is no DARKNESS at all. Love is the opposite of hatred. God is Light. Light is the opposite of darkness. Satan is darkness. I John 2:9 He that says he is in the light (i.e. God himself) and hates his brother, is in darkness (i.e. satan) even until now. Light and darkness have nothing in common! Darkness or hatred is not of God, it is of satan! I John 1:5 God is light (i.e. love)and "in him" is no darkness (i.e. hatred) at all! Esau rejected his opportunity to know God, who is light, who is love. God didn't do it to him, he did it to himself. Esau rejected and hated God who is, light, love, and life!
