3 | Should I resign from the Forum? | Bible general Archive 1 | ava4 | 65764
Why resign the forum? How will any of us ever know what we really believe unless we expose our thoughts for review. The forum shouldn't be a place to pass judgement rather, a place to have our beliefs challanged and a place learn in the family of believers.. It would lose it's value completely if it were to become merely a vehicle to dispense a specific denominational doctrine. I say, continue posting on the forum. yours in Christ,..denny |

You're very welcome. Never run just because you have been accused of error. The enemy would use the occasion of error to crush us with condemnation if given the chance. I believe that error becomes an opportunity for greater fellowship and growth in Christ. Take courage in Christ. May God bless you. denny |

Hi Johnny, It truly wasn't my intention to 'strike' at rabbi mark as the accuser rather, my purpose was to encourage mommapbs to stand fast in the Lord in the face of accusation. As I mention, even if the accusation proves to be true it is merely an opportunity for more fellowship. Johnny, I appreciate your note and your concern. We all need to pray that the Holy Spirit will moderate our accusations and grant us the same love and mercy we have recieved toward one another. It's too easy for us to render judgements without knowing the heart of the one we are accusing. I appreciate your note. May God grant us all mercy and love toward one another. Dennis |

tetelestai46, May I suggest Josh McDowell's book "New Evidence That Demands a Verdict". This is a compilation of 'Evidence 1 and 2' that is fully updated. Published by Nelson. It's available in most Christian Book Stores or, they can order it for about 25--30 dollars. Excellent book. dennis |

8 | Did God Create Man Mortal? | Gen 1:26 | ava4 | 65462
This is, perhaps, the best and most meaningful threads I have followed since I began participating in this forum. I have pondered the subject of man's creation, mortality...the tree of life for years. Needless to say you all have gained my attention. May God bless you all.....dennis |

9 | In Gen 1, who is us referring to? | Gen 1:26 | ava4 | 65466
I think it's interesting to note that, according to the Genesis account of creation, God seems to act unilaterally in speaking everything into existence..until it was time to create man. In creating man He spoke in the plural signifying that the whole Godhead was involved in creating man..God's intended crowning glory of all of His creation. To me this provides a strong, yet, simple understanding of the 'why' of God's desire and purpose throughout history to regain man and why He provided such great sacrifice to redeem us. May God bless our days....dennis |

Hi Ed,...no, I had failed to notice the date. I will pay closer attention to that in the future. I am a recent participant/contributor to the forum and am still feeling my way around the site. I do thank you for your reply and for bringing this to my attention. Thanks, and God bless your day....dennis
11 | Do you know Jesus? | Gen 1:26 | ava4 | 66146
charis, Amen and amen. zerotheory has been looking to have his philosophy validated here on the forum. He has repeatedly said that he believes in God and Christ Jesus yet, for him God always ends up being identified as zero. This is a rather elaborate mind game that he wishes to get everyone involved in. An agenda? I've challanged him to begin a dialog on the forum using only the words God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit and to drop the word zero altogether and since then I've received no response. We need to pray earnestly that God will deliver zerotheory from the midst of the game he is caught in. He's obviously confused and seems bent upon using the forum as his platform to propigate his confusion and as a way to introduce his confusion throughout this site. At this stage to coddle zerotheory is to continue to play into his hand. Dialog in Christ, zerotheory. ? God bless, dennis |

12 | So...what is your theory? | Gen 1:26 | ava4 | 66152
Thank you Hank !! Someone must bring this person's nonsense to an end. I've challanged him to dialog using the words God, Christ and the Holy Spirit leaving out his pet word, zero and I've had no response since. I offered to dialog with him through the e-mail and still no response. He has never identified himself through a profile or in answer to a inquery. He's not interested in using the forum for anything but, propigating his nonsense. To continue coddling this person is to allow him to keep the members busy entertaining him. Look at the number of postings that have been devoted to zerotheory's game. I believe that anyone seriously interested in pursuing biblical understanding should have the forum's full attention. Those interested in extra-biblical knowedge such as numerology should find another platform. Yours in Christ, dennis |

16 | Isaiah 45:11.'command ye me'. | Is 45:11 | ava4 | 64768
Hank,...I'm a bit of a computer neophyte. I still have a question about Isaiah 45:11. Can you direct me to a good on-line commentary..or how to post on the 'forum'? My question concerns the last words in verse 11..'command ye me.' The KJV and NASB seems to have the same sense while the NIV seems to change the sense dramatically. Thanks, Dennis

18 | why cant we understand all of god? | Is 55:8 | ava4 | 66579
Hi annieb86, 1st Corinthians chapter 13 verse 12 says; "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." I recommend a good place to begin reading the Bible is the Book of John.. God bless you, denny |

19 | bottom line effect | Dan 1:4 | ava4 | 65908
zerotheory, I guess my only question is; what is the bottom line effect you are striving for? I have watched the discourse with interest and wonder. Have you mounted an intellectual exercise, or campaign on this forum? And if so, toward what end? Are you in the process of working out a synthesis of 'Zero theory' plus ? biblical teachings? With an end goal of gaining what? adherent's.? I don't mean to sound critical. If you could supply me with the direction of the undercurrent of your thinking maybe all of us on the forum would know best how to respond. Respectfully in Christ, dennis |

20 | bottom line effect | Dan 1:4 | ava4 | 65931
zerotheory, I'm glad you are finding some answers because you desparatly need answers. And yes, the forum exists for people to learn of God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit and about God's word, fellowship etc. Although you continue to draw comparisons between God and zero in an attempt to make them equal they are, if fact, in different ball parks. Zero has, for you, become an alternative to the God of the bible. To all appearances you have adopted a philosophical position and are engaging the members of this forum in your attempt to have it validated. As dedicated as forum members are to sharing God's truth how can you expect us to support your renaming of God to zero. While you may be able to support your synthesis for a time while engaging us in the intellectual folly, when your game has finally been revealed by the light of Scripture, the chase will be over and theory will collapse beneath it's own weight. I believe that there are a lot of forum members who are praying for you as you have made an impression on most who have engaged you. I pray earnestly that the God of the Bible will reveal Himself to you through Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit and that you may be delivered from the deception that has you in it's hold. Respectfully, in Christ, dennis |
