If one truly REPENTS, sincere sorrow for wrongful course, genuine prayer to Almighty God through the One whom he sent John 8:42, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, has PAID the price of Adamic sin, perfect life for a perfect life, 1 Corinthians 15:45 etc. and has CONQUERED the flesh. As a High Priest Psalm 110:4, Hebrews 6:20, Hebrews 8:1, 2 we plead to God through him John 14:6, John 16:23- 24. We PRAY for a measure of God's holy spirit, SINCE ONLY WHEN we are LED by spirit can we OVERCOME the flesh Galatians 5:16, 22,23,24,25. We SHOULD NOT practice sin INTENTIONALLY Compare king Saul, with king David. Guard from things at Acts 21:25, Acts 15:28, 29; Revelation 21:8.

14 | revpete79, when were these men saved? | Acts 19:2 | True Truthseeker | 202403
No one is saved until he endures to the end of his/her life or this world as we know it [Mat.24:13] remaining faithful and true to the teachings of Christ and by extension God Almighty [1 Corinthians 11:3, John 12:49,5:19, 30]. Baptism [anointing] in holy spirit are for those who will rule as kings and priests along with Jesus Christ [Revelation 20:6]. The first gentile to receive holy spirit was Cornelius and members of his household[Acts 2:1- 4, Acts 10:44- 45]. John the baptist was NOT anointed with holy spirit even though he had a measure of holy spirit as did Elijah, Elisha, Moses, Joshua etc. [Matthew 11:11]. To be BORN AGAIN means to die as a human and have a REBIRTH as a sprit creature [1 Corinthians 15:50]. This is ONLY for those to which Revelation 20:6 apply. The PARADISE promised is an EDENIC paradise on EARTH thus the MEEK WILL POSSES the EARTH. Matthew 5:5, Psalm 37:9. |

Acts 5:3- 4, does NOT prove the holy spirit to be God Almighty. In UNDERSTANDING Bible passages, one should ALLOW the passage to SAY what it is in fact saying, taking into consideration that there are NO CONTRADICTIONS in the Holy Writings. In what context should Acts 5:3-4 be SEEN. Well, when Jesus Christ who was filled with God's holy spirit, John 1:32-34, Isaiah 11:2, John 3:34.[NOTE please that God is a Spirit [John 4:24, Exodus 33:20, John 1:18] and is Holy [Re. 4:8] and has a NAME [Exodus 6:3, 3:15, Psalm 83:18] This NAME occurring nearly 7,000 times has been REPLACED by LORD or GOD in MOST translations. Jesus Christ, said ALL sins would be forgiven EXCEPT sinning AGAINST God's holy spirit.Mark 3:29 reads: However, whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of everlasting sin. CLEARLY, when we sin we SIN against God Almighty, when we SEE evidence of God's holy spirit or active force in operation, and we INTENTIONALLY SIN, or REFER to it as DEMONIC [blaspheme] we WILL NOT BE forgiven. Ananias and his wife, had abundant EVIDENCE that God's holy spirit was in operation with the apostles, YET, they foolishly tried to be DECEPTIVE,[quite unnecessarily so] and were punished as examples of HYPOCRITES and pawns of Satan. Hebrews 10:26 to 31, show that the deliberate practising of sin, after being convinced of the TRUTH, will result in adverse judgment |

But if anyone loves God, this one is KNOWN by him. Now concerning the eating of foods offered to idols, we know that an idol is NOTHING in the world, and that there is no God but ONE. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heavens or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us ONE God, the Father, out of whom ALL things are, and we for him, and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him. 1 Corinthians 8: 3, 4, 5, 6. Here we see, that there is ONE God, the Father, Jehovah [Yahweh]; and one Lord, the Son, Jesus Christ, as being TRUE, though there ARE many FALSE "gods" and "lords". Jesus Christ is Son of Almighty God, Jehovah. The account at 1 Corinthians 8, is CONSISTENT with the rest of the Scriptures, please SEE Colossians 1: 15, 16; Deuteronomy 6: 4; Psalm 82: 1, 6 and John 10: 34, 35, 36; John 5: 30. See, also Revelation 3:14, John 14: 28; 1 Corinthians 15: 28, Matthew 24: 36. |
