3 | IS there any answers out there? | Not Specified | RJJ | 98287
Greetings everyone, I have just done a word search and only found 11 posts containing this word. It seems that no one is bothered by it, it's a doctrine that is as old as time and is as relevant as tomorrow. In times past it was of great importance but now in the "civilised" age do we "Protestants" have an answer or are we content/complacent? What is he on about? I was asked a simple enough question, " when a child dies, in the age of innocence, where does the soul go and how can the soul return to Heaven if sin is not allowed into the presence of Holy God? The word I was researching was," Limbo" the Catholic doctrine that is their answer, what is ours? Please do not waste time in telling me the rights and wrongs of this doctrine, or resurrect the old argument between scriptural and traditional, just give me an answer, or your understanding of this question. Thank you all and may the Holy Spirit inspire us. SHALOM RJJ. |

4 | EUREKA!! I have found it! | Not Specified | RJJ | 99214
Greetings to you all in the name of Jesus. I asked a question (post 98289) regarding the Protestants answer to the question to where do young children/babies go when they die. The response was very good and I would like to thank you all for your posts; The conclusion I have reached is that young children go to HEAVEN and not hell or the place known as limbo/place of happiness. The Westminster Confession of Faith would be the theologians answer. To those who showed that if King David said that he would see his son after death then as David went to Abraham's bosom/Paradi when he died then, as the word of God does not lie, then for David to see his son then his son would be also there. The matter of baptism as a requirement for entrance to heaven is answered when Jesus on the cross, this day you will be with me in Paradise, to the man on the cross beside Him. I can take no credit for these observations, credit is to the writers of the posts. At the begging of my quest I was informed that there where no scriptures on this topic so I must thank the only person that showed me that there is scripture that deals with, and supports my conclusion, where young children/babies go at the time of death. Thanks DAIRYLEADER5, (post 98624), the scripture is Romans Ch.9. v11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) KJV I hope that you who are of the Protestant persuasion agree with my conclusions and, if not, please let me know. 5 | Do we know what it says? | Not Specified | RJJ | 100477
Greetings everyone, there seems to be a spirit of discord not harmony in the camp, can we stop bickering over "words" and show the LOVE we should have one for another. We may not agree with one another but can we stop and pray before posting, read over our posts and see where the LOVE is missing/ Now a question to get you thinking? "a conceptual and fanciful personification of the unknown causes of our misfortunes" Do we know what the world is talking about, is the world aware of what they are talking about? Is the language used today hiding the truth or stating the truth, how do we answer? What does Holy Scripture say on the subject? SHALOM RJJ. |

8 | Who was the witness? | Not Specified | RJJ | 113438
Greetings every one. There seems that the old arguments never go away, so instead of adding to the fires of debate, may I ask, what to some would say, is a simple question, "at the baptism of our Lord, who heard the voice of God, and saw the Holy Spirit descending?" SHALOM,RJJ |

9 | Manifestation or Vision? | Not Specified | RJJ | 114449
Greetings evertone, With reference to my post#113450, was this a vision or a manifestation? For who's benefit was it for John or Jesus, if John, why was doubt shown, by John, later, if Jesus, why? would Jesus need encouragement or confermation? The gospel writers seem vague as to the answeres. SHALOM,RJJ |

10 | FRUIT OR FRUITS | Not Specified | RJJ | 117096
Gal ch5 verses22/23 A Pastor I was listening to raised an interesting point regarding this verse, regarding the fruit of the Spirit. Is there, as taught, seven fruits of the Spirit or, is there only one fruit as in the Scriptures, he went on to say that it was as if the one fruit had seven flavours, has anyone any views, for or against? Later the question was raised, when do we receive the fruit/fruits, when we are born, or when we receive salvation, or when we receive the Holy Spirit. I would like to ask for your comments and scriptural evidence that supports or denies these views. SALOME, RJJ. |

Hello DarcyA, May I stand beside you and support you in your stand against the FALSE teachings of the FALSE teachers of the W.O.F movement(also known as the THIRD WAVE). May I remind those who follow the wide road that the final warning IN the BIBLE is found in Rev,22:19 If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. 22:20 He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly." Amen! Come, Lord Jesus. We do not stand alone, may I close as does the Bible. Rev 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen |

Greetings mommpbs, thanks for your response, confusing is it not?. The "quote" and its author ect are irrelevant to the question, what is relevant to the question is the manner of its presentation. Is "fancy" words hiding the truth of the gospel or is satan using the modern language to "cloud" the minds of modern man? Also the deeper and harder question was, is there any Scriptural resources to counter this deception of the author of all lies? Clarification pleaseeee, OK, what does Scripture teach? I hope that these posts will demonstrate that we need to show the plain gospel truth in an understandable way. So, lets get simple, for the fools shall confuse the wise!!! SHALOM RJJ. |

15 | Proof of Christ | Bible general Archive 1 | RJJ | 81816
There is only one way to prove Chist, look at so-called doubting Thomas, who also looked for proof. Although he was offered proof by the others who who had meet Jesus, still had to have undenyable proof. So Jesus showed Thomas, and us, the way to prove Him, and that is to have a personel encounter with Jesus. It was not the nail marks or the wound in the side of Jesus, it was the experiece of meeting HIM. We do not have to prove the exsistance of Jesus, we are called to be witnesses. |
