1 | Why punish the man of God? | 1 Kings | Joel | 3482
Read chapter 13 of Kings. Why was the man of God kill. He did disobey God's command, but the prophet told him he had heard from God, and it was ok for him (the man of God) to eat. Was it unfair for the man of God to be killed by a lion for being tricked into believing it was God's will for him to eat and thus eating? And why wasn't the 'prophet' punished for lying.
2 | Matt.24:42 Why did Jesus make wine? | Matt 6:8 | Joel | 4430
I'm not sure what you mean about Matt 24:42 having to do with wine. If you're referring to Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana, then I can help. When Jesus turned the water into wine He was begining his ministry on earth. Think of the things that go into making good wine. Time is a big one. So He was showing His authority over time. Also the chemical difference between wine and what is huge. So also His authority over nature is expressed. He also is showing that mairrage is important to Him. Also Romans 12:15 is being affirmed. Anyway, I hope this answers your question.
3 | Women speak in church? | 1 Cor 14:34 | Joel | 3481
Does anyone wonder why women are becoming more active in the church. (whether you agree with that or not). I believe it is because we as men are not being active ourselves. When we men are passive and just sit back, I believe it is sin (Genesis 3). But it's very easy for us to just sit back and let what comes, come and what goes, go. But, we are to be leaders and active in how we serve in the church. And if we are concerned with the way women are serving in church: it's the male gender's responsibility to make a difference. . .
