1 | What exactly is this Unforgivable Sin? | Matt 12:32 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 109513
I was just about to answer this question but I see you already answered it correctly. Reception of the Holy Spirit regenerates man and assures his deliverance from sin(John 3:5; Ephesians 1:13,14; Titus 3:5). The Pharisees blasphemed God saying His Spirit is unholy and evil(Matthew 9:34; Mark 3:22; Luke 11:15).
2 | Why did Jesus Go to Hell | 1 Pet 3:19 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 109507
I believe Jesus preached to the pre-flood population through Noah and now those disobedient people are in Sheol(2nd Peter 2:4,5). The unrighteous cannot be saved after death(Luke 16:26). Jesus never preached and teached to the physically dead(Luke 9:60).

Many OT prophets prophesied that disciples/students of Christ would be called Christians. Acts 11:26 is prophecy fullfilled. Here are several prophecies predicting that the people of the Lord will be called Christians: Amos 9:12 Isaiah 4:1 Jeremiah 14:9 Jeremiah 15:16 Isaiah 62:2 Acts 15:17 |

4 | what does bible say about homosexuality | Lev 18:22 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 109320
The HOLY BIBLE cleary states that today Homosexuality is sinful and God will not change His mind on that. Homosexuality is another form of fornication. In the case of homosexual marraiges being legalized under the sun it still would be sinful in the eyes of God the same way it would be sinful for me to make a living promoting pornography.
5 | Is THE SABBATH ON A SATURDAY | John 20:19 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 109319
to whom it may concern: Genesis 2:3-"Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made". If you closely examine the text you see that God blessed the seventh day. God did not bless the fourteenth day or the 21st for that matter. He blessed the 7th day because he rested from all His work. The bible is silent about Sabbath observance before Moses gave the 10 Commandements to the Israelites. When God rested on the 7th day this was a foreshadow of the Sabbath that He later gave to His people Israel. He did not give the Sabbath to Adam, Abraham, Job, Noah, or Joseph. God only gave the Sabbath to the Jews whom he brought out of Egypt(Exodus 20:2). Jesus never taught His church(Matthew 16:18;Romans 16:16) to observe the Sabbath. Jesus rose on the first day(Matthew 28:1; mark 16:2; Luke 24:1; John 20:1). Pentecost was on the first day of the week(Leviticus 23:16; Acts 2:1). The church assembled together on the first day of the week(Acts 20:7; 1st Corinthians 16:2;). The first day of the week is Sunday. |

6 | Do you have to be baptized to be saved? | Rom 6:3 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 109066
hi you say "baptism is an outward acknowledgement of what has already been done in your heart". Can you back up that statement with scripture. Jesus told me to "believe and be baptized" to be saved(Mark 16:16). You must obey the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ(gospel)to be saved(1st Corinthians 15:1-4; 2nd Thessalonians 1:8; 1st Peter 4:17). The death is repentance(Acts 2:38 and 1st Peter 2:24). The burial and resurrection is baptism(John 3:5;Romans 6:3,4;Colossians 2:12; Titus 3:5). A believer is not saved until he is IN Christ. Paul prayed and fasted for three days(Acts 9:9-11) but was not saved till he "washed his sins away calling on the name of the Lord"(Acts 22:16). You can pray and fast forty days and nights and never will be saved by Christ because that would be utterly sinful and willful disobedience(Proverbs 28:9) to Jesus command in Mark 16:16 and Matthew 28:19. John the Baptist was a prophet who came to prepare a way for the Lord(Isaiah 40:3;Matthew 3:3) John the Baptist preached repentance and baptism for the remission of sins(Matthew 3:6;Mark 1:4;Luke 1:77;Luke 3:3). All spiritual blessings are IN Christ(Ephesians 1:3). The bible teaches baptism is how you enter Christ(1st Corinthians 12:13;Galatians 3:27). Acts 16:25-34 is the entire account of conversion and shows how those people accepted(believed)the message and were baptized(Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:41). You have to understand(2nd Peter 3:16)that every single account of conversion is not exhaustive in detail. But everyone who recieved salvation believed(John 3:16 and Hebrews 11:6), repented(Luke 3:5), confessed(Matthew 10:32) and were baptized into Christ for the remission of sins and reception of the Holy Spirit(Acts 2:38;Ephesians 1:13,14;1st Titus 3:5;1st Peter 3:21). Don't just be merely religious like the Pharisees and Sadducees(Matthew 3:7,8 and Luke 7:30). Be obedient(John 14:23). speaking the truth in love(Epesians 4:15). |

7 | Are you a follower of Jesus or a church? | Matt 10:32 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 108911
hi Hank Hank is my physically deceased stepfather's name by the way. I accidently sent a response to myself. Please if you would Hank just take a little time to read and meditate on the scriptures I posted in my note on January 9th. Jesus prophesied(Acts 3:22)that he would build His church. Jesus began building His church in Jerusalem(Luke 24:47)and continues to build it(1st Peter 2:4,5). I have tried to teach religious denominations the doctrine of Christ but they choose not to hear His words(1st Timothy 6:3). It is like Matthew 13:14,15. It is like when Christ said to His 12 apostles before they were filled with the Paraclete when He answered John's question by saying "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it"(John 13:26). I still to this day cannot understand why some of His disciples thought Judas left to do a good work and you know one of them said to "buy those things we need for the feast" because that statement is in quotations(Matthew 13:29). Judas left the feast to do evil (John 19:11) so unlike the 11 Judas did not receive the honor and privilege of hearing some of the greatest doctrine of Christ(John 13:31-17:26). The church of Christ is His church because He died for it(Acts 20:28). To say the church of Christ is a denomination is not based on biblical truth(Matthew 16:18;John 17:20-23;Romans 16:16;1st Corinthians 1:10;Ephesians 5:26,27). Jesus promised that the church of Christ only shall rise up(Matthew 16:18 and Romans 6:3-5). But there are also many imitation assemblies and some that even claim to be the "church of Christ"(Matthew 13:27-30;1st Timothy 4:1;2nd Peter 2:1;2nd Timothy 4:3). Speaking the truth in Love(Epehsians 4:15; 1st John 4:8; 1st Corinthians 12:13). |

My hope and prayer for you Brad is that you will "be saved from this perverse generation"(Acts 2:40). Only by the grace of Lord is salvation even available(Acts 15:11). So I choose to obey the truth(1st Peter 1:22;John 14:6 and be a member of the church of Christ(Matthew 16:18;Acts 20:28;Romans 16:16; Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 5:23-28). I will not be deceived by imitation assemblies. |

10 | Are you a follower of Jesus or a church? | Matt 10:32 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 108694
Jesus applied His precious grace and blood to me because of my obedience to His gospel(2nd Thessalonians 1:8;1st Peter 4:17). I died to my sins(1st Peter 2:24), was buried and raised with Christ(Romans 6:3,4;Colossians 2:12). Salvation is in the body of Christ(2nd Timothy 2:10).I have living faith(James 2:18-26). Christ is my holy ark(1st Peter 3:21) because Christ shut me in(Genesis 7:16;1st Corinthians 12:13;Galatians 3:26,27). You claim to get in another way(John 10:1). |

12 | Baptism not necessary to be saved | Acts | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 108530
You are in Error with all due respect sir. Believing IN Jesus means you are a you believe Christ and were baptized into His body(1st Corinthians 12:13 and Mark 16:16. Baptism is not a work from man but a work from God according to Luke 7:30, Colossians 2:12, and Titus 3:5). Now let us look at the text of John 3:1-21 which is Jesus teaching Nicodemus how tho be saved. John 3:2 Nicodemus declares "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him". Jesus says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is BORN AGAIN(regeneration), he cannot see the kingdom of God". Jesus here is cleary speaking of regeneration or being reborn spiritually. Is Jesus so dumb to teach Nicodemus who was born of flesh years ago that he needs to have a "vaginal birth". Jesus is not teaching about anything physical or prenatal. Nicodemus does not get it yet either by asking: "How can a MAN be BORN when HE is old"? Nicodemus is asking this question because he does not understand that Jesus is teaching him about spiritual REBIRTH for regeneration, remission of sins, and reception of the Holy Spirit. Jesus can see that Nicodemus does not understand so Jesus breaks it down in laymens terms by teaching: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, HE cannot enter the kingdom of God". Notice Jesus goes masculine here by saying HE. Jesus is cleary implying by saying HE that the man already was generated of flesh. A man does not come from the womb a MAN but is born of flesh as a baby so again Jesus is not teaching of anything prenatal or physical. Also the scriptures do not contradict each other because "It is impossible for God to lie"(Hebrews 6:18 and Titus 1:2). Jesus is also a prophet (Acts 3:22,23) who is phrophesying the way of salvation through Himself and also interpreting Acts 2:38 and Titus 3:5 which was taught later by brother Luke and Paul. Baptism into Christ Jesus for remission of sins and the Holy Spirit come together that is why Jesus teaches being "born of water and Spirit". They are one in the same. They are not two different events. You go down into the water without the Spirit but come out of the water regenerated by the Holy Spirit. John 3:5 is not talking about being born of flesh or a vaginal birth and again Jesus confirms this in John 3:6 thus saith the Lord. |

You are right in saying that the Lord does not give supernatural power because He only "sent power from on high" to the 13 and they in turned passed them on to people whom God chose to receive these supernatural signs.
15 | Women Preachers? Yes or No? | Bible general Archive 2 | wwwjohn1423ministriesorg | 108392
Woman are not permitted to preach or teach in public worship assembly(Sunday services and church group bible study sessions(1st Timothy 2:11-15). Paul is teaching the leader Timothy how and who is to lead the church when assembled together. Woman are allowed to "preach the gospel to all creation"(Mark 16:15) and can teach anyone in private during Holy Book study sessions where there is no Christian man present(1st Corinthians 14:34). How can we ignore the great apostle Paul who actually saw God???(1st Corinthians 9:1-2) |
