1 | don't just listen to gods word but do | James 1:22 | vume | 57334
Three things: 1. What you are up till this moment is the results of what God's Words Work in His Creation. 2. Faith according to Hebrews:11:1 allows the believer to produce fruits of the Spirit rising from the decaying process that results as the flesh is cucified. 3. Confession is the action manifested as a believer becomes a doer of the Word. "take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: Luke:12:12: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. In Christ-vume |

2 | Are God's thoughts in Jesus Name? | Bible general Archive 1 | vume | 52778
To silks; My intentions would be undermined in trying to explain, read as many of my posts concerning Faith to receive your own revelation (God's thoughts). The following are a few comments from previous posts. 1. walk in newness of life has ... meaning 2. the Words we use are so limited if the Holy Spirit has not been given the right to transform our minds 3. All intimate and personal relationships with "Abba Father" must be "one of a kind". 4. (our walk) is a continous act of faith 5. Faith is action 6. Faith is not action. Faith RESULTS in action 7. can you prove that the Bible (as you interpret it...or as you don't) is truth. 8. "peace of God, which transcends all understanding" should be a product of any dialogue that is lead by the Holy Spirit. 9. We must be about our Father's business, Holy Father; What ever is in my life that is not pleasing to You I declare it to be transformed to Your will by Your Word as I enter in seeking and meditation. I ask for Grace and strength to study to be aproved. In Jesus Name I ask, AMEN. LOVE vume |

3 | Is it not FAITH that pleases GOD? | Bible general Archive 1 | vume | 52689
Lionstrong; According to your deffinition, "grasping" and "holding" are actions. Substance in a nutshell is the clear picture of Truth that you consider grasping and holding on to as a necessary action in accepting God's Word. Hebrews:4:2: For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. We only profit (are transformed) by God's Word as we mix it with Faith. Mix is an action. It just seems that if Faith is not an action then God's Word is limited in the Work of transforming the hearer of that Word. Work again is an action, so is hearing as can be gained from God's Word (The Bible). I believe I am open minded so if you can expound on the point you are trying to demonstrate that Faith is not an action I will listen. One thing that must be considered is that action as defined and related to Faith is something only possessed by the Word that is Alive. LOVE vume |

4 | 1. Sisera and Jael - asleep or not? | Judg 4:21 | vume | 52637
Trying to put things in context; to the end of the chapter it seems that the subject was not the death of Sisera but the end of tribulation. Judgesg:5:30:...........of them that take the spoil? 31: So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years. |

5 | Is light reasoned or revealed? | NT general Archive 1 | vume | 51621
Blessed art thou, iknowsomestuff: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but our Father which is in heaven. The Lord Jesus possesses unlimited eternal life. Luke 17:24 For like the lightning, that flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will the Son of Man be in His [own] day. |

6 | what does it mean by chosen children? | NT general Archive 1 | vume | 51465
God says we did not choose Him but He chose us. It should be noted that just as a movie that is being made follows a script, all our liberty is foolish vanity if we do not submit to our creator. Romans:9:11: (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 1Peter:1:2: Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. Eph:2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. |

7 | we shall all be changed | 1 Corinthians | vume | 49519
Heavenly Father; Thank You for providing the Way: to Hear to See to Understand to be Whole. IN JESUS NAME AMEN. Jesus is the Word! We hear the Voice faith comes by hearing. We see as we are able to do the Word-James:1:21 thru 27. Michael said; thinking of others (determines) his actions. That is the only labor I can see in being really free. We see the engrafted Word JESUS! Experience is recognized by the Bridegroom vume said. Melodie K said; desires of your heart you speak them into existence A good imagination will enable you to picture the life giving Word as it enters your heart. Matthew:13:15 or Acts:28:27 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and (their) ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with (their) eyes, and hear with (their) ears, and should understand with (their) heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Are you being converted? "O GOD"; Every day, every hour, every minute, every second I need to be converted, else my heart is waxed gross. I pray in Jesus Name Amen. Eileen said; a deeper experience with Him (enables us) to do His Will Our prayer should be: "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" Acts 9:6 "Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God, Romans 12:2 Do not walk away from your mirror until the Word has renewed your mind. "DOES PRAYER CHANGE THINGS?" They say that prayer changes things, but does it REALLY change anything? Oh yes! It really does! Does prayer change your present situation or sudden circumstances? No, not always, but it does change the way you look at those events. Does prayer change your financial future? No, not always, but it does change who you look to for meeting your daily needs. Does prayer change shattered hearts or broken bodies? No, not always, but it will change your source of strength and comfort. Does prayer change your wants and desires? No, not always, but it will change your wants into what God desires! Does prayer change how you view the world? No, not always, but it will change whose eyes you see the world through. Does prayer change your regrets from the past? No, not always, but it will change your hopes for the future! Does prayer change the people around you? No, not always, but it will change you the problem isn't always in others. Does prayer change your life in ways you can't explain? Oh, yes, always! And it will change you from the inside out! So does prayer REALLY change ANYTHING? Yes! It REALLY does change EVERYTHING! Teressa Vowell Thank you Joy for the message by Teressa Vowell. When will what is seen in the mirror be Your Image Lord? |

8 | Philisita and Palestinians? | Ps 60:8 | vume | 49207
The prime minister of Israel sits down with Arafat at the beginning of negotiations regarding the resolution of the conflict. Prime Minister Sharon requests that he be allowed to begin with a story. Arafat replies, "Of course." The prime minister begins his story: "Years before the Israelites came to the Promised Land and settled here, Moses led them for 40 years through the desert. The Israelites began complaining that they were thirsty and, lo and behold, a miracle occurred and a stream appeared before them. They drank their fill and then decided to take advantage of the stream to do some bathing -- including Moses. When Moses came out of the water, he found that all his clothing was missing. "'Who took my clothes?' Moses asked those around him. "'It was the Palestinians,' replied the Israelites. "Wait a minute," objected Arafat immediately, "there were no Palestinians during the time of Moses!" "All right," replied the prime minister. "Now that we've got that settled, let's begin our negotiations." |

9 | Is this the substance of confession? | Matt 10:27 | vume | 48827
GEORGEWBUSH: Yes-thank you for the cross reference, 2Corinthians:3 certainly validates my prayers especially for the Middle East. May I suggest to you (GEORGEWBUSH), that your last sentence should be rewritten as: It is a promise and it's a promise that Jesus fulfilled on the day of pentacost and is still fulfilling to this very day because we have His great words in scriptures written by the apostles. Most pleased to meet you and again thanks. |

10 | The Lord's supper | 1 Cor 10:16 | vume | 48727
As I grew up in a church I was taught that circumcisim was the blood covenant for man and when Jesus shed God's Blood in crucifiction the covenant was completed. Genesis:15:9: And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. This ceremony make me think there is more and should be understood especially in partaking of communion. |

11 | God has promised rewards. | Heb 11:6 | vume | 46167
Makarios; As I said in my first responce thank you. Getting the niceties of how we each do things out of the way, I also would like to say and be accountable to knowing and doing what God wants. Yes it is telling that only you answered my question, my thuoght is that in God's wisdom what we have to share is important enough to go one on one. Do you have a comment on my remark in my last note "system of rewards". Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief Jas:1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Jas:1:18: Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 2Jo:1:8: Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 2Jo:1:9: Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Matthew 25:34-46 seed time planting and harvest Ro:2:6: Who will render to every man according to his deeds (diligent or derilect) 2Tm:2:14: Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. |

12 | God has promised rewards. | Heb 11:6 | vume | 46159
Makarios; Thank you for your responce although our thinking seems minds (miles) apart. You know nothing about me yet your comment assumes that I need to be rebuked. James 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. "glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" This could be an anawer but it focuses on the house not the builder. Romans 2:11-29 This is very good and helpful, thank you for obeying your leading to share it. I almost wish I had asked my question about this scripture, but back to Hebrews 11:6. Heb:3:6 - but he that built all things is God. Hebrews:3:10: Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. I accept (Heb 11:6-He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]) this as God's Word, not mine or any mans. If God has a system of rewards then to enter into His Will and Way, I do agree must be a humble and obedient walk for the best of God's sons. Along with my original question let me add, do we forefit rewards when we come up short in our (diligently) seeking Him? |
