Taleb, I was reading an article on Revelation 2-3 and thought you might "see" the connection the articles makes with xmas at the end. I cut parts to make it fit. http://www.meguiar.addr.com/demise_3_perg_two.htm “the Doctrine of Balaam” After the death of the Apostles and the coming of Constantine, Christianity taught the heathen everywhere simply to baptize their idols and retain them. This has been repeated many times in the history of the professing Christian Church. We know by the history that the snare that Balaam set for Israel was to MIX Israel up with the worship of Baal/Lord... Numbers 23:6 – 9: ... “Balak brought me from Aram, the King of Moab from the eastern mountains. ‘Come,’ he said, ‘curse Jacob for me; come, denounce Israel.’ How can I denounce/curse those whom Jahwah has not denounced/cursed? From the rocky peaks I see them – from the heights I view them. I see a PEOPLE WHO DWELLS APART/LIVES ALONE/separated – surely a people who live by themselves/dwelling alone and not mixed up with the nations! Dwell is 1931 – shakan is “permanently stay” “alone” is 909 is badadi is to divide – be solitary.[ii] Thus it would read: “I see a people who permanently remain divided and alone and not mixed with the nations – they will not be like the other nations”. They differed from all the neighboring nations, not only in their religion and sacred rites, but also in their diet, and dress, and common usages, as a people called out of the world, and not to be conformed to it. They never lost this until they “mingled among the heathen/nations.” It is the duty and honor of those dedicated to Jahwah to be separated from the world, and not to walk according to the course and custom of it. Numbers 22:41 ... Bamoth Baal is described as worship of the SEVEN PLANETS: the Sun, the moon, and the planets in 2 Kings 23:5 Then he killed the priests whom the kings of Judah had appointed to burn incense to Bamoth Baal (to/at the High Places of Baal) - to the SUN, to the MOON, and to the planets (the seven heavenly lights that rule over the days of the pagan week) i.e. to all the hosts of heaven.)[iv] Balaam now proceeds to build seven altars as related in Numbers 23:1-3: Then Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars,[v] (one to each of the seven planets) and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams. Then Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram. And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go: peradventure Jahwah will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place. Balak now takes Balaam to a place where he will surely find evidence to curse Israel with: To a place spread out and filled with Angelic watchers that keep constant watch over Israel; to the Top of the one that cuts up and dissects the burnt offering and examines each piece very closely. Surely that will turn up sin. Numbers 23:27-30 And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please Elohim that thou mayest curse me them from thence. And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon. And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams. And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar. Numbers 25:1-5 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people unto the sacrifices (the covenant sacrifices) of their g-ds: and the people did eat, and bowed down to (worship) their g-ds. And Israel joined himself unto Baal-peor: and the anger of Jahwah was kindled against Israel. And Jahwah said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before Jahwah against the sun, that the fierce anger of Jahwah may be turned away from Israel. And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baal-peor. The name of Baal-peor must be examined in two parts, Baal and Peor. Baal is the name of the g-d (the worship of the seven planets), and Peor is the name of the site, also called Beth-peor in Deuteronomy 3:29.[viii] Peor is a hole or opening and appears to be derived from a verb denoting to open wide, to uncover. Thus Baal-peor was the opening or door to the worship of Baal and the seven planets. In Jahwah's eyes, participating in a feast of Baal is the same as engaging in idolatrous worship of that false g-d. Whether it is feasting at Christmas – The Feast of Saturn/Nimrod or worshipping and feasting on Saturday – the day set aside for Saturn, it is engaging in idolatrous worship and has been strictly forbidden by Jahwah. These are false appointed times that are dedicated to Bamoth Baal and the worship of the seven planets. |

Taleb, Well thought out. The first thing that jumps up though is the assertion, "He...actually does CHANGE, as often as He purposes change." Deuteronomy 6:5 "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Leviticus 19 :18"...thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. " Matthew 22:37 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang (SUM UP) all the law and the prophets. YHWH purpose is constant. Everything in both testaments is His accomplishing that end. If the objective of the war is to "take that hill", whether you use artillery or infantry or snipers does not change the initial objective. The 10 commandments, the 613 commandments, the sermon on the mount are all the same thing---Loving YHWH and your neighbor as yourself. Nothing has changed. You are familiar with the OT, why are these "burdens" resurfacing during the millennium? Zechariah 14:16 "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the FEAST OF TABERNACLES." Ezekiel 45:17 "And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the FEASTS, and in the new moons, and in the SABBATHS, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the SIN OFFERING, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel." It sounds like Ecclesiastes to me , Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." "Greg, do you understand WHO SPOKE this? What does the rest of Scripture say about this individual?" If YHWH can speak through a jack-ass (no jokes please) of what relevance is it who declares the truth? Before I continue I want to ask you a question. Is there a difference between justification and eternal life? Shalom, Greg Boone |

You our doing me a disservice , I would not give up on you. The problem may be that you have only been exposed to one perspective. Please see this excerpt of a commentary on Romans. http://www.yashanet.com/studies/romstudy/text07a.htm Paul's argument in Romans, is similar to one he made in Philippians, chapter 3, when he said he counted the past things he relied on for righteousness, "as dung." Again, due to the lack of knowledge of where Paul, (the rabbi and Pharisee) is coming from, this section is also often used to teach that Paul no longer followed Torah. This is not what Philippians (or Galatians, or Colossians, or any of Paul's writings) says however. Paul is not asserting that God's holy Torah is "dung" -- rather, he is saying that his efforts in trying to achieve righteousness by following Torah commandments on his own, outside of faith, is an exercise in futility. He counts his legalistic approach to Torah as "dung." In Philippians, Paul is teaching along the same lines as he does in Romans, not trying to achieve salvation by doing the "works of the Law" in one's own righteousness, but through faith in Yeshua: Philippians 3:9 - Paul's righteousness as a Jew, prior to his "meeting" with Yeshua, was erroneously placed in his own ability to follow the Torah to "earn" his salvation. Paul's teaching (in all his letters) is that we cannot do this on our own. We are to trust in the "righteousness which is of God by faith," and then follow His Torah with His spirit in us. "Believing in the Messiah" is not the end of the road (as is effectively taught by Christianity). Trusting in Yeshua is the door to the path we are to follow -- the path of Torah. Note that in the same chapter of Philippians, Paul does not presume to say that "just by believing" he is guaranteed salvation: Philippians 3:11-14 - If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus...I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Paul's admonition was for the Philippians to walk in the same path he did, (which was Torah): 5 For when we were in the flesh This verse looks back at the past from which we were delivered. The Torah (even today), leads us to salvation through its "negative commands," (i.e. "Thou shall not ..."), that both regulates sin in the life of an unbeliever, and causes us to see that we fall short of God's standards.2 We then realize the need to die to our sin (and to the judgment of Torah) and make way for God's spirit to enable us to do what the Torah demands. See notes to verse 6 below for the "positive aspects" of Torah. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. This verse clarifies what Paul was saying with his analogy (verse 1-4) and looks ahead to what will be said in chapter 8. In "dying" to sin, and making room in your will to "let God in," a person is now governed by the "positive commandments" of the Torah (i.e. walking according to the Spirit and not the flesh, re: 8:1-15). Paul makes it clear that we still serve God (i.e., follow His ways as He gave in the Torah.) A person must serve one of two masters. He is either "bound" in the oldness of the letter to serve his Yetzer Hara (evil inclination), or he is "freed" from this inclination to serve God. (Of course this does not mean he will never sin - even King David sinned, yet he declared himself [in Psalms, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit] to be "righteous according to the Torah.") A breakdown of Romans 7:6 is as a follows: "But now we are delivered from the law" - We are delivered from the condemnation of the Torah that came when we tried to follow it outside of faith and failed. Refer to the "curse of the Law" mentioned in our background study. "... being dead wherein we were held" - Because Yeshua paid the penalty (by His death), for our violation of God's Torah, we have been released from this sentence (the fruit of unbelievers is death, re: 7:5). We are not released from the entirety of Torah however, only certain aspects, (i.e., its condemnation) just as the woman in the analogy of verses 7:1-4, was only released from certain aspects of the Torah. "... serve in newness of spirit" - Those of the Spirit continue to "serve" (i.e., follow Torah - re: Romans 8:2-8) "... not in the oldness of the letter." - Outside of faith, we can only grasp at the "letter of the Law." We are no longer to serve God in a lifeless spirit of self-righteous legalism, or misuse of God's Torah. We are now to follow it out of love of God, as Torah is holy, righteous and good (6:12), as well as spiritual (6:14). |

Dear John, You are right, we are not JUSTIFIED by keeping Torah, just as Paul states, “it is the gift of YHWH”. I am going to try to show you something that most of us do not understand because of what we have been taught. ETERNAL LIFE (SALVATION) AND THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS (JUSTIFICATION) ARE NOT THE SAME THING. The problem with Christian theology is that it confuses “eternal life “ with the “forgiveness of sins”. We have look at things the way they actually are not the way we have been taught they are. I believe the following scriptures will show that ‘forgiveness of sins’ is by unmerited grace; ‘eternal life’ is by striving. Matthew 26:28 “For THIS IS MY BLOOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, which is shed for many for THE REMISSION OF SINS.” Acts 10:43 “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive REMISSION OF SINS.” Romans 3:25 “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God;” Ephesians 1:7 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the FORGIVENESS OF SINS, according to the riches of his grace;” Colossians 1:14 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the FORGIVENESS OF SINS:” ETERNAL LIFE IS BASED ON WHAT YOU DO AFTER BEING FORGIVEN/CLEANSED: Matthew 19:16 “And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have ETERNAL LIFE? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but IF THOU WILT ENTER INTO LIFE, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS. The Bible says YHWH cannot lie (Titus 1:2). The above verse is true. Let YHWH be true and every man a liar. Man is subject to misinterpretation but the Word is infallible. Romans 2:7 “To them who by PATIENT CONTINUANCE in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, ETERNAL LIFE:” 1 John 2:24 “Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning (Torah). If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.” Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end EVERLASTING LIFE. Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Matthew 10:22 “…he that endures to the end the same shall be saved” YHWH’s will is for man to love HIM and his neighbor. Because we cannot of ourselves do it does not change the fact that that is what He wants. We are to strive to keep His Torah, when we sin we are to confess and repent and keep striving. This is what the overcomers of Revelation 2-3 do. The goal is to live as Messiah lived. The great commission was to make “disciples” out of the nations. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations,…” How do you make disciples? By: …baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: 20 TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I COMMANDED YOU: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” John 8:31 “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If YOU CONTINUE in MY WORD (Torah), then are ye my DISCIPLES in-deed;” This lack of distinguishing between justification and eternal life is why Christians cannot explain the following verses: Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is RIGHTEOUS, LET HIM BE RIGHTEOUS STILL: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. Hebrews 5:9 “And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;” Matthew 5:20 “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, YE SHALL IN NO CASE ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.” Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: for this is the whole duty of man.14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” People are basing their eternity on limited interpretations of Paul’s letters and ignoring the rest of the Bible. Paul warns us repeatedly that “grievous wolves” and “workers of iniquity” are going to pervert the path of the assembly. (1 Timothy 4, Acts 20:28-31, 2 Timothy 4). We are living in it. This is the great apostasy--- FALLING AWAY FROM TORAH. Isaiah 40:8 "but the Torah of our God shall stand for ever." Greg Boone |

Dear Tim, The writer of Hebrews is quoting the “old testament” just as Yeshua did, Paul did, Peter did, etc. In fact, we have no scriptural evidence for a Promised Redeemer apart from the “old testament”. In other words, if it were not for the numerous prophetic verses in the “old testament” that point to Yeshua how would we know that He is whom He said He is? We could not. It would be like a Mormon coming to you and saying the “new testament” has been replaced because I just had a vision, etc, etc. and everything else has been rendered obsolete. How far will that sail? That is why the “old testament” serves as our eternal foundation and everything in it will come to pass. Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord GOD WILL DO NOTHING, but HE REVEALETH His secret unto His servants the prophets.” Isaiah 8:20 “To the law and to the testimony(OLD TESTAMENT): if they speak not according to this word (TORAH), it is because there is no light in them.” Matthew 5:18 “…one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law (Old Testament), till all be fulfilled. We cannot have it both ways: The “old testament” is applicable when it fits my theology but obsolete when it does not. With that said, the writer of Hebrews is quoting Jeremiah 31, Jeremiah 31:33 “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law (Torah) in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws (Torah) into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:” This is outright plagiarism. YHWH should sue. Imagine bringing obsolete Old Testament concepts into the nice grace-filled New Testament. Of course I am being facetious. But then the question becomes why is YHWH writing Torah in our hearts if that old burden has been done away with? Isaiah 46:10 “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” Show me the scripture where it has been “REVEALED” that the Torah will be made obsolete. You will not be able to. "This in and of itself is in opposition to your believe that we are still bound to keep the old covenant! :-)" Not close. Bear with me and I will show you why you are standing on sinking sand. We must love the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10) Greg Boone |

Justme, Ask yourself these questions. Did Yeshua keep Torah? Did Paul keep Torah? Did Peter keep Torah? Did the other apostles keep Torah? Did the Centurion keep Torah? Did the Ethiopian keep Torah? Did Gentile converts keep Torah? YES I Corinthians 5:7-8 7 “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us KEEP THE FEAST, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” Why is Paul telling Gentile converts to keep the Passover Feast? Are not the feasts done away with for Christians? I Corinthians 10:16 “The CUP OF BLESSING which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?” The "cup of blessing" is a toast in the Passover Seder meal. Corinth was a prosperous, immoral and pagan city whose Christian church was dominated by Gentile converts. How and why do these Gentile converts know about the Passover celebration if they are not to keep the feasts? The obvious answer is that as Paul stated in Acts 15:21; the Gentiles will adopt the rest of “the faith” as Moses is preached in all the synagogues every Sabbath (Saturday). Is not it strange that over the past 2,000 years this contradiction has not been address by the church. Anyone who is willing to risk their eternal future on Christian theology should be able to explain all of these verses. Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Matt 5:17 THINK NOT that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you ACCORDING TO YOUR WORKS. Matt 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Ecclesiastes 12:13 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." I believe I can explain all of these but not through "Christian theology". Fare Well, Greg Boone |

Justme, If I understand the Christian faith correctly it is an honor or at least your duty to lead a brother who has gone astray to repentance. If I am blind, please help me to see. Tell me where I have contradicted or misunderstood any verse of scripture. "Love thy neighbor as thy self", do not just walk away. The following is a link listing the 613 commandments contained in the law of Moses. http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm Please skim through them and let me know which ones you consider to be a burden. I believe once you see them in their entirety you will agree with Yeshua that "His yoke is easy and His burden is light." Shalom, Greg Boone |

Indy, I accept your apology but there is no need, I am not offended. I can see how one could arrive at that conclusion. “I was reading Romans 7 and 8 this morning and I simply cannot fathom why you believe as you do.” Why I believe what I believe: I started out as a Protestant Christian in 1996 with no religious background. Having no foundation, I received everything that was taught without question. As I read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation (one chapter at a time) I started to have questions. The pre-tribulation rapture was one thing I had trouble with. It did not make sense that YHWH was going to rapture the modern church (a body of self-willed, self-indulgent, adulterous, idolatrous, hypocritical, fleshly believers) to spend eternity in heaven doing whatever they want while 50,000,000 Christians over the centuries have been martyred in excruciatingly painful ways designed to make them deny Jesus Christ. I concluded that the rapture was an 19th century myth which confuses the 1st resurrection of Revelation 20:6, 1Thessalonians 4:17, I Corinthians 15 and Philippians 3:11 with some type of "get out of jail free card". Then the question became if mainstream Christianity is wrong about the rapture what else are they feeding me that may be wrong? The Bible is full of warnings about being deceived. So then it was a matter of finding out how far back do the deceptions go. I discovered Christmas was the pagan festival of Saturnalia dressed up as Christ’s birth, easter is the name of a reincarnated Babylonian fertility god, the Sunday Sabbath was a papal edict with no scriptural authority, etc. So I have to go past 325 AD to find out what the "called-out assembly" was really doing. The problem is that most of what is taught is based on the early church fathers who were anti-Semitic due to the political climate of Rome after the Temple destruction in 70AD. Since then anything Hebraic has been systematically divorced from mainstream Christianity. I have found that you cannot get to the truth about the 1st century church through Christain sources because everyone is so influenced by the anti-Semitic “church fathers.” Paul was warning the Thessalonians in 50AD about the "mystery of iniquity" that is already at work. The “mystery of iniquity” was faith outside of Torah. If you isolate Paul's "teachings" and receive what the rest of the Bible teaches it is clear that YHWH has not changed. The key is that we have to understand the who, what and why of Paul's letters. They are dealing with very specific issues. Paul was writing to former pagans with no roots in Torah. I have so much to say I am not sure where to start. Initially, “Christianity” was known as one of the many sects of Judaism. Judaism was based on OT scriptures before it was corrupted. Why would the foundational text of everything that we believe become obsolete? Without the scriptural authority of the OT there is no basis for the Promised Redeemer. Acts 24:5-6 “For we have found this man (Paul) a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a RINGLEADER OF THE SECT OF THE NAZARENES: Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.” The Nazarenes are Jews that believed Yeshua was the Messiah. Epiphanius an early church member has this to say about them: "We shall now especially consider HERETICS who call themselves NAZARENES; they are MAINLY JEWS and nothing else. They make use not only of the New Testament, but they also use in a way the Old Testament of the Jews. For THEY DO NOT FORBID the books of the Law, the Prophets and the Writings...so that they are approved of by the Jews, FROM WHOM THE NAZARENES do not differ in anything, and they do profess all the dogmas pertaining to the prescriptions of the Law and the customs of the Jews, EXCEPT THEY BELIEVE IN MESSIAH. They preach that there is but One God and His Son Yahshua." According to the Bible, Paul is the ringleader of this sect of Nazarenes. “In fact, the religio licita, or "legal religion," sanction granted by imperial Rome to the Jews, permitted the apostles and their followers to freely engage in evangelistic activity throughout the Roman empire for many years.” To understand how we got where we are today and why Christians are misinterpreting Paul we need to understand the anti-Semitic roots of Christianity. It is amazing, I have so much to say it is hard to get organized. While I try to answer your question concisely, please see the article on this link. It is a easy-reading 2 part article. http://www.messianicstudies.org/mag_70_art40.html Shalom, Greg Boone |

9 | What is iniquity in Matthew 7:23? | Matt 7:23 | gjboone | 75463 | ||
John, Before starting a long exegesis a couple of points: Revelation 20:5-6 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall REIGN WITH HIM a thousand years.” So we want to be a part of the 1st resurrection because the 2nd resurrection is for those subject to the 2nd death. What happens during the millennium? Isaiah 2:3 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and HE WILL TEACH US OF HIS WAYS, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law (Torah), and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. The correct way is shown to the remnant House of Israel (Lost Tribes) Ezekiel 43:10 “Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.” “The whole was made “obsolete.” The whole disappeared with the destruction of the temple, the altar, and the priesthood under Titus Vespasian in a.d. 70.” Has he really done his homework? Ezekiel 45:17 “And it shall be the prince's part to give BURNT OFFERINGS, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the FEASTS, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the SABBATHS, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the SIN OFFERING, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel." Somebody is missing something somewhere. Those who are alive now are the saints that “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). Why are there feasts, Sabbaths, sin offerings etc. during the millennium. Zechariah 14:16,19 “And it shall come to pass (during the millennium after the tribulation), that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and THE PUNISHMENTof all nations that COME NOT UP to keep the feast of tabernacles.” Jeremiah 3:17 "At that(during the millennium) time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the IMAGINATION OF THEIR EVIL HEART." No more “lawlessness”. Romans 10:4 “For Christ is the end (Strongs 5056, telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” “Telos” is from a primary “tello” (to set out for a definite point or goal). The idea is that Messiah is the goal/aim of the law, not the abolishment of it. More to come, Greg Boone PS- I find that most people have never actually seen the 613 commandments that have been “done away with” before deciding that they are a burden. You will see them categorized in sections such as Property Rights, Business Practices, Family, Criminal Law, etc. Everyone says, “What would Jesus do?” This is exactly what He did: http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm |

CDBJ, I can sense some defensiveness in your response, that is what the truth does, it off-ends. Matthew 15:12 "Then came his disciples, and said unto him (Yeshua), Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?" Amazing, your striving days are over but Paul's were just beginning: Phillipians 3:11 "If by any means I might ATTAIN unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had ALREADY attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus." Phillipians 2:12 "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT your OWN SALVATION with FEAR AND TREMBLING." Maybe Paul should have read Hebrews 4:10 (out of context). Bearing in mind, Revelation is the last written instructions from Messiah. What is an "overcomer" in the setting of Revelation Chapters 2-3? It has to be more than someone that merely believes. In Revelation 18 there is an impassioned plea "come out of her, my people". Who or where are God's people right now? He is calling the "Bride" out of pagan-based, antinomian Babylon and back to the 1st century faith that Messiah walked in. 1 Corinthians 11:1 "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." For Messiah to be “sinless” He had to keep Torah perfectly. But because we are “believers” now that standard is obsolete??? We are now under the “Grace Welfare System” where we just “rest” in what Messiah has done for us and “pick and choose” which commandments we will keep??! Romans 3:31 “Do we then make void TORAH through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish TORAH.” Again I ask, “How can you spend eternity in His presence if sin cannot abide in His presence?” There were 613 commandments given in the OT. People talk about the bondage of the "law" and they do not realize that the "bondage" was the man-made rules that the Pharisees instituted not what YHWH initially stated. In fact the NT has over 1,100 commandments that are more difficult to keep but I guess those should be by-passed also. http://66.227.33.191/magazine/0205/page04.htm 1 John 2:6-7 “He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as HE WALKED. Brethren, I write NO NEW commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the TORAH which ye have heard from the BEGINNING.” 1 John 2:3 “And hereby we do know that we KNOW HIM, IF we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, IS A LIAR, and the truth is not in him. Matthew 7:23 “And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU (YOU DID NOT KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS): depart from me, ye that work iniquity (Without Torah). Paul foresaw this falling away from the Truth and warned the Gentile assembly with tears. Acts 20:26-31 “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God (Torah). 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I KNOW THIS, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking PERVERSE THINGS (Strongs 1294 to turn aside from the right path, to pervert, corrupt) , to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.” It cannot get much clearer than that. Revelation 3:18 “… anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” Greg Boone |

John, Knowing what you know about YHWH, do you think that He would change what is defined as "Truth" to accomodate man? Genesis 15:6 "And he BELIEVED in the LORD; and he counted it to him for RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 10:10 "For with the heart man BELIEVETH unto RIGHTEOUSNESS; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It is the same across covenants. Nothing has changed. This is Torah: Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: Leviticus 19 :18"...thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. " This is Torah: Matthew 22:37 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang (SUM UP) all the law and the prophets. YHWH is very specific on how we are to Love Him and it has not changed. It is written in the law and the prophets. It's the same from Genesis to Revelation. Greg Boone |

Steve, What is Paul saying here prior to leaving the Gentile church to go to Jerusalem? Acts 20:28 "TAKE HEED therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I KNOW THIS, that after my departing shall GRIEVOUS WOLVES enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of YOUR OWN SELVES (Gentiles) shall men arise, speaking PERVERSE THINGS, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I CEASED NOT TO WARN every one night and day with tears. It sounds like Paul is warning the Gentile church that they will be infiltrated by false teachers telling them "perverse things" like "the law has passed away" or "once saved always saved". "Perverse things" is Strong's 1294 which means "to turn aside from the right path, to pervert, corrupt." Do you find anything heretical about this statement? I believe Paul foresaw the heresy that has come upon the "church" prophetically when he spoke in Acts 20:28 and it brought him to tears. He sees this so clearly that in verses 26-27 he absolves himself from what is going to happen. Acts 20:26 "Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I AM PURE FROM THE BLOOD OF ALL MEN. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you ALL THE COUNSEL OF GOD. Hmmm, I wonder what "all the counsel of God" was then since the "law" had already passed away. Maybe he preached on grace for 3 years. Greg Boone |

Answer You wrote: “Clearly you do not except what the book of Acts says about Peter and the sheet, and that all living things were now to be eaten.” First I must ask, do you except what the book of Acts prophesies? Acts 26:30 "26 …I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. (AS A WATCHMAN-EZEKIEL 33:4-YOU ARE NOW RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELVES) 28 TAKE HEED therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I KNOW THIS, that after my departing shall GRIEVOUS WOLVES (FALSE TEACHERS-NO TORAH) enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of YOUR OWN SELVES shall men arise, speaking PERVERSE THINGS (NO TORAH), to draw away disciples after them." Paul whom is filled with the Spirit prophesies that false teachers will join the “church” and that Gentiles (your own selves) will speak “perverse things”. The Gentile church fathers began distancing themselves from the Hebraic roots of the faith because it was politically incorrect to be associated with the Jews after 70 AD. Acts 10:9-28 9”On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have NEVER eaten any thing that is common or unclean. Peter is STILL keeping Torah because he will not eat anything COMMON OR UNCLEAN. 15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. What YHWH has CLEANSED do not consider it COMMON ANY LONGER. The point is the unclean thing (Gentile) has been CLEANSED. 16This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.17Now while Peter doubted in himself WHAT THIS VISION which he had seen SHOULD MEAN, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, Firstly, this is a vision not a literal event, it’s symbolic. Second, Peter does not know what the SYMBOLIC VISION MEANT (surely he would know if it were to be taken literally). 18And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.19While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.20Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I HAVE SENT THEM. YHWH sent the VISION that calls unclean clean then He sends these Gentile men. 21Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?22And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee. A side point, Cornelius “one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews” could only have this reputation among the Jews if he had joined the community. To “fear God” is to keep His Torah commandments. I believe he was the first recorded Gentile conversion because of the example he set. He obviously walked in Torah. 23Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.24And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.25And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.27And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but GOD HATH SHEWED ME (IN THE VISION) that I should not call any man common or unclean. Peter has a vision and YHWH tells not to call what YHWH has CLEANSED as being unclean. Cornelius (a Gentile who keeps Torah) is apparently accepted by the Apostle Peter as CLEAN because it would be “unlawful” (against Torah) for him to keep company with Cornelius. Is this all coincidence? No mention of food at all. If you have ears to hear, this has got to be clear. The myth that has been perpetuated by “grievous wolves” is a manifestation of what Paul prophesied. Shalom, Greg Boone |

Intro Dear Justme, Welcome to the discussion. Thank you for your comments (I think):). Believe me “Love for the Brethren” is what motivates me. Since 1996 Yeshua has change me in a variety of ways. I am not the same selfish person I was. Admittedly, there is still some ego involved when I debate with the forum believers but I am trying to channel that into zeal. Love (for my family) is what brought me to this forum. I have been trying to get them out of Babylon for over a year. I e-mailed them 11 scriptures and ask them to interpret any one of them based on their theology. When they did not/could not respond I decided to send the verses to Christian “Answer-Man” websites. The point was to show that even the theologians would not or could not answer, at least directly. Most did not respond. Anyway, I stumbled across this forum. Some may feel I am not walking in love, but If I were about to walk off of a cliff I certainly would want you to get my attention and not just whisper for fear of offending. Most people have had so much empty rhetoric drummed into their psyche that they believe it. The unadulterated truth is the only way to break-up that ground. Yes, Paul is inspired just as the other 39 authors are also inspired. I am not a Judaizer. There is a big difference between what "Jews" practice and what YHWH intended. I recently discovered the following lectures: http://www.christianpreaching.com/rondart/dartepistles.htm Although I do not agree completely with everything he states, his background research provides a necessary light for trully understanding Paul's writings. I encourage you to hear him out beginning with the "Background to Galatians". Greg Boone P.S.- This man refers to himself as "Christian" |

Taleb, “The Old Testament says they must. The New says it’s up to them. Whoops.” So the OT is valid when it fits your theology but “passed away” when it doesn’t? Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I CHANGE NOT; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” VALID OR PASSED AWAY? Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” MAYBE HE CHANGED HIS MIND? Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” EXCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO THE OLD TESTAMENT? Isaiah 8:20 “To the law and to the testimony: IF THEY SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT in them.” THIS IS WHY YESHUA AND PAUL, PETER, ETC. CONSTANTLY MAKE REFERENCE TO THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES!!! WHICH OT SCRIPTURES PROPHESY YHWH CHANGING HIS MIND OR REPEALING HIS TORAH? NONE, if you believe He did it is because there is "no light" in you---those are not my words. No wonder there are 22,000 denominations, every “church” is picking and choosing what makes sense to them. That’s called “leaning on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5) or “walking in the imagination of your own heart” (Jeremiah 16:12). Which is exactly what xmas is. Here are some of the verses that tell you not to do as the “heathens” do: Romans 12:2 "And BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL OF GOD." Jeremiah 10:2 "Thus saith the LORD, LEARN NOT THE WAY OF THE HEATHEN, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them." Jeremiah 10:3 "For THE CUSTOMS OF THE PEOPLE ARE VAIN: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe." 2 Kings 17:15 "And they rejected HIS statutes, and HIS covenant that he made with their fathers, and HIS testimonies which he testified against them; and THEY FOLLOWED VANITY, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that THEY SHOULD NOT DO LIKE THEM." 2 Chronicles 36:14 "Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, TRANSGRESSED VERY MUCH AFTER ALL THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE HEATHEN; and POLLUTED THE HOUSE OF YHWH which he had hallowed in Jerusalem." Ezekiel 11:12 "And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you." Ezekiel 23:30 "I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and Because thou art polluted with their idols." I know, but the church is special, none of this applies to them because they believe just as the demons do, etc... Isaiah 40:7-8 “…surely THE PEOPLE IS GRASS. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but THE WORD OF YHWH SHALL STAND FOREVER.” In other words, dictionary definitions, meanings, customs, phrases and whatever else man comes up with will change BUT HE DOES NOT. If He hated it 4,000 years ago He hates it now. As Oprah would say “Denial, is not a river in Africa.” Peace, Greg Boone |

John, Matthew 5:19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called GREAT in the kingdom of heaven.” Yeshua is plainly stating that the way to be GREAT in the kingdom is to "do and teach" the commandments. How could He make it clearer? Here is another clear statement: Matthew 5:20 “For (1063) I say (3004) unto you, (5213) That (3754) except (3362) your (5216) righteousness (1343) shall exceed (4052) * (4119) the righteousness of the scribes (1122) and (2532) Pharisees, (5330) ye shall in no case (3364) enter (1525) into (1519) the kingdom (932) of heaven. (3772) “ The numbers in parenthesis are Strong’s reference numbers. Notice after the word “exceed” there is “(4052) * (4119)”. 4052 means to “exceed a fixed number of measure”. The * is the un-translated word “pleion” (4119) which means “greater in quality, superior, more excellent”. Thus Yeshua is calling us not only to meet the physical requirements (4052) but also to the higher spiritual aspects (4119). If we continue through the sermon on the mount, the higher standard is further brought out. Matthew 5:21 “Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not KILL (PHYSICAL); and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:22But I say unto you, That whosoever is ANGRY (SPIRITUAL) with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: Matthew 5:27 ”Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery(PHYSICAL):28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust (SPIRITUAL) after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. This is consistent with scripture. Luke 12:48 “…For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required…” We have been given much through the Blood Atonement but we are also held to not only the physical “law” but the spiritual Torah as well. Dear John, Yes, Yeshua (Jesus) has fulfilled PART of the law but not ALL of it. That is why He paused in Luke 4:18 and sat down. There is no conflict here. The law will not pass away until ALL is fulfilled. We are part way there. I realize what I am stating is in contradiction with what has been taught for centuries. This is precisely the point. We have been deceived. Our current leaders are deceived. Look at all the warnings in the Bible to the "church": Acts 26:30 "26 …I am pure from the blood of all men. 30 Also of YOUR OWN SELVES (THIS IS PROPHETIC) shall men arise, speaking PERVERSE THINGS (NO TORAH), to draw away disciples after them." Matthew 16:6,12 "6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the LEAVEN of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees (RELIGIOUS LEADERS)...12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the DOCTRINE of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. Matthew 24:4 "4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no MAN DECEIVE YOU.5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (I AM ANOINTED); and SHALL DECEIVE MANY." Romans 17 "17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the DOCTRINE which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches DECEIVE the hearts of the simple." 2 Timothy 3:13 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, DECEIVING, and BEING DECEIVED. 14 BUT CONTINUE thou in the things which thou hast learned…;15 And that from a child thou hast known the HOLY SCRIPTURES (TORAH), which are able to make thee wise UNTO SALVATION through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (HOW TO LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY): From what I see there are a lot of scriptures which state that we will be judged by our “works”. However, there are also a lot of scriptures that talk about having our “sins blotted out”. One key may be to continually confess our sins and be “cleansed from all unrighteousness” (1John 1:9). At any rate, it is apparent to me that there is some action required on our part. Revelation 3:5 “He that OVERCOMETH (ACTION WORD), the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Maybe it means he that overcomes sin. Ecclesiastes 12-13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.14 For God shall BRING EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT, with every secret thing, whether it be GOOD, or whether it be EVIL.” Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God IS NOT MOCKED: for WHATSOEVER a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Proverbs 24:12 “If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?” Exodus 32:33 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” Revelation 2 :23 “And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. If we were under some new “grace system” Galatians 6:7 would not be true and would contradict these scriptures as well (Jer 25:14, Matt 16:27, 2Cor 5:10, 11:15, Rev 14:13, 18:6, 20:12-13, I Sam 8:8, Ps 28:4, 33:15, Eze 9:10, Rom 2:6, Isa 59:18). The OT and the NT complement each other, in that, what is prophesied in the first is fulfilled in the second and one can not accurately interpret the second without a intimate knowledge of the first. The only way the Bible remains a coherent work is to realize that God did not change His mind about His commandments, which existed before the foundation of the world (John 1:1, Proverbs 8:22-36). I realize this may be a lot to get used to. It took YHWH 3 years to lead me out. I only wish someone would have told me as clearly 3 years ago and I would be that much further along. Shalom, Greg Boone |
