2 | why cant we understand all of god? | Is 55:8 | ava4 | 66579
Hi annieb86, 1st Corinthians chapter 13 verse 12 says; "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." I recommend a good place to begin reading the Bible is the Book of John.. God bless you, denny |

4 | Woman's sin worse than man's? | Eph 5:33 | ava4 | 66293
Rabbi Mark, Lack of a personal profile always bothers me. Just as belonging to a local congregation will bring us to accountability because we are a known quantity among our brother's and sister's, so, too, may a personal profile on this site go toward removing some the anonymity you have been enjoying that has permitted you to continue with your pompous attitude toward fellow forum members and believers in Christ. I have been reading your 'postings and I am struck by your condescending manner. While you 'use' verses very well to 'instruct' others you are puffed up with an insidious pride that reveals, to me, you have failed to be instructed by the verses yourself. Perhaps if you would lay your crown at the foot of the cross and surrender yourself to Christ Jesus, your arrogance would take flight and you could begin a proper relationship with God in Christ. yours in Christ, dennis |

7 | Unforgivable sin | Romans | ava4 | 66216
Henri, All we can go on in this matter is what the Bible has to say about it. For any sin to be forgiven us we have to have come, first, to Christ in faith. If we reject the Holy Spirit we have rejected Christ and by, our choice, we are damned. Speaking now, from my own understanding of the verses in Luke, it appears that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is eternally unpardonable. If there is an exception I haven't discovered it yet. I hope that someone who knows more than me is reading our 'posts' and can lend their understanding to this question. I wish I could say that it might be a forgivable sin however, the verses seem to be unequivocal in their language. in Christ, dennis |

8 | So...what is your theory? | Gen 1:26 | ava4 | 66152
Thank you Hank !! Someone must bring this person's nonsense to an end. I've challanged him to dialog using the words God, Christ and the Holy Spirit leaving out his pet word, zero and I've had no response since. I offered to dialog with him through the e-mail and still no response. He has never identified himself through a profile or in answer to a inquery. He's not interested in using the forum for anything but, propigating his nonsense. To continue coddling this person is to allow him to keep the members busy entertaining him. Look at the number of postings that have been devoted to zerotheory's game. I believe that anyone seriously interested in pursuing biblical understanding should have the forum's full attention. Those interested in extra-biblical knowedge such as numerology should find another platform. Yours in Christ, dennis |

9 | Do you know Jesus? | Gen 1:26 | ava4 | 66146
charis, Amen and amen. zerotheory has been looking to have his philosophy validated here on the forum. He has repeatedly said that he believes in God and Christ Jesus yet, for him God always ends up being identified as zero. This is a rather elaborate mind game that he wishes to get everyone involved in. An agenda? I've challanged him to begin a dialog on the forum using only the words God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit and to drop the word zero altogether and since then I've received no response. We need to pray earnestly that God will deliver zerotheory from the midst of the game he is caught in. He's obviously confused and seems bent upon using the forum as his platform to propigate his confusion and as a way to introduce his confusion throughout this site. At this stage to coddle zerotheory is to continue to play into his hand. Dialog in Christ, zerotheory. ? God bless, dennis |

10 | Jesus' faith teaching vs Word of Faith? | Matt 14:29 | ava4 | 66083
Hi Pastor Glenn, I'm glad to see that the confusion has been resolved amiacably. I, for one, am glad EdB is vigilant, otherwise a lot of nonsense could be introduced while we weren't looking. I've found that if we can just keep communicating we will be able to work through most difficulties in understanding. As for nonsense, there is an ample ammount of that being tolerated on this site right now. dennis |

11 | Jesus' faith teaching vs Word of Faith? | Matt 14:29 | ava4 | 66068
Hi Ed, I wasn't defending Pastor Glenn against you rather, I was suggesting that he make a plain statement as to his position so all parties would be satisfied. I'm learning that, if we're going to be participating on this platform we all need to speak as plainly as possible to avoid misunderstandings. I appreciate your note. Take care and God bless you. dennis |

12 | Jesus' faith teaching vs Word of Faith? | Matt 14:29 | ava4 | 66022
Hi Pastor Glenn, I'm a little bit familiar with WOF and having just read your comments in this thread I don't find that you are promoting that teaching. Perhaps you aren't stating your position clearly enough. EdB may be waiting for you to state the 'I DO NOT' believe. I pray that both of you go the extra mile in order to achieve understanding. in Christ, dennis |

13 | bottom line effect | Dan 1:4 | ava4 | 65977
zerotheory. nothing about zero frightens me as it is merely a '0'. You say that your God is the is the same God as in the bible yet, you cannot, or will not drop the word zero for the word God. I ask you, are you able to carry on a conversation or write an e-mail or, carry on a dialog of any consequence on this site using only the word God, Christ or the Holy Spirit and never once bringing up the word zero? Would you like to try? We would all welcome it as a real gesture of the fellowship you are seeking. It appears that for you zero has taken on a powerful meaning and has come to represent God. If that were not the case you would simply exchange '0' for the word God. You have demonstrated that, except for the purpose of continuing in conversation here on the forum, zero remains your proper name for God. You say you are learning and I pray that is the case however, if we are really learning we should arrive at a satisfactory answer in a reasonable span of time and be willing to meet simply in God, in Christ and in the Holy Spirit without '0'. In 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 7 the Apostle Paul writes concerning the last days; In verse 7 he writes that they are 'always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.' As for avenues to Christ they are many. Yours as well as mine but if I had not set aside my 'way' I would never have come to know Christ Jesus. I truly regret speaking to you in this tone and wish it were otherwise. Someone along the way needed to call you on the word game you have been engaged in on the forum and unfortunately it is me. I don't know you zerotheory but I recognize the intellectual trap you are caught up in and I am praying fervently that God will deliver you so that you can enter into the fellowship of Christ without controversy. Take care my friend. dennis |

zerotheory, I'm glad you are finding some answers because you desparatly need answers. And yes, the forum exists for people to learn of God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit and about God's word, fellowship etc. Although you continue to draw comparisons between God and zero in an attempt to make them equal they are, if fact, in different ball parks. Zero has, for you, become an alternative to the God of the bible. To all appearances you have adopted a philosophical position and are engaging the members of this forum in your attempt to have it validated. As dedicated as forum members are to sharing God's truth how can you expect us to support your renaming of God to zero. While you may be able to support your synthesis for a time while engaging us in the intellectual folly, when your game has finally been revealed by the light of Scripture, the chase will be over and theory will collapse beneath it's own weight. I believe that there are a lot of forum members who are praying for you as you have made an impression on most who have engaged you. I pray earnestly that the God of the Bible will reveal Himself to you through Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit and that you may be delivered from the deception that has you in it's hold. Respectfully, in Christ, dennis |

15 | Should I resign from the Forum? | Bible general Archive 1 | ava4 | 65851
Hi Johnny, It truly wasn't my intention to 'strike' at rabbi mark as the accuser rather, my purpose was to encourage mommapbs to stand fast in the Lord in the face of accusation. As I mention, even if the accusation proves to be true it is merely an opportunity for more fellowship. Johnny, I appreciate your note and your concern. We all need to pray that the Holy Spirit will moderate our accusations and grant us the same love and mercy we have recieved toward one another. It's too easy for us to render judgements without knowing the heart of the one we are accusing. I appreciate your note. May God grant us all mercy and love toward one another. Dennis |

You're very welcome. Never run just because you have been accused of error. The enemy would use the occasion of error to crush us with condemnation if given the chance. I believe that error becomes an opportunity for greater fellowship and growth in Christ. Take courage in Christ. May God bless you. denny |

17 | Why church? | Heb 10:25 | ava4 | 65827
Hi EdB, I had never been made aware of the 3 dot issue but, now that I know about it I wiil not repeat it. I can see how that would raise red flags. I didn't take your comment as a malicious attack rather, I was truly puzzled by your reaction. As I thought my profile would make abundantly clear, I am all about church having lived too long without it. You do not know how much I appreciate you taking time to respond both then and now. I only suggested that our exchange go to e-mail to avoid adding any strife into the public forum. Again, thank you for responding my friend. Your's in Christ, dennis |

20 | Should I resign from the Forum? | Bible general Archive 1 | ava4 | 65764
Why resign the forum? How will any of us ever know what we really believe unless we expose our thoughts for review. The forum shouldn't be a place to pass judgement rather, a place to have our beliefs challanged and a place learn in the family of believers.. It would lose it's value completely if it were to become merely a vehicle to dispense a specific denominational doctrine. I say, continue posting on the forum. yours in Christ,..denny |
