1 | Is Belief in the Trinity Required? | Bible general Archive 4 | John Ryals | 230234
Just wanted to offer a scripture to one of the statements you made: "Never does Christ state that the Holy Spirit is a different "person." If I understand the scripture correctly; Acts 1:4 states: "And,being assembled together with them, Commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the Promise of the Father, which, said He, you have heard of Me. I believe Jesus is saying that they also heard of this promise from Himself, which the promise is the Holy Spirit! I hope this makes sense to you. Have a Great Day! John Ryals |

4 | who was the first person jesus saved? | Bible general Archive 4 | John Ryals | 230742
Hey Beja, There's no argument of the possibility, but I just commented that I can't find it in the Word. You and I can only pray she did. You know after I looked at the question fully, I wonder if he meant the first person when Jesus was walking on earth? Have a Blessed Day Brother! |

6 | Where did Adam and Eve's find their wife | Genesis | John Ryals | 227917
Genesis 5:4; "And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters" (the intimation is, Adam was able to father children, and Eve to conceive, for some 800 years. Exactly how many children they brought into the world we aren't told. But it had to be many. So yes, these children of Adam and Eve married each other, even though deterioration of our life expectancy had began because of their disobedience.
7 | you need not that any man teach you | Gen 1:1 | John Ryals | 228048
Dear Makarios, (Blessed): I was curious about your profile after reading your answer and I took a look. I, also am a member of an Evangelical/Non-Denominational Church. You may have heard of it, 'Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.' Thanks for sharing your exegesis and cross references. It was confirmation on what I already believed, and your answer was peaceful and Holy Spirit interpreted. May God Bless you sir.
8 | Is to bill or murder the same | Ex 20:13 | John Ryals | 228427
If I may, Exodus 20:13 in the NASB and AMPLIFIED Bible translations states, "You Shall not Murder, if this is correct because looking in the KJV it says, "You shall not kill." Whichever; means the same. Should have been translated, "thou shalt do no muder"; God, in His Holy Word, commands magistrates to put evil men to death [Rom. 13:4]; that is not murder; to "kill" and to "commit murder" are two different verbs in the Hebrew Text. May the Lord be with you, John Ryals |

9 | Are tatoos allowed? | Lev 19:28 | John Ryals | 228255
If I may, Pagans were accustomed to making small incisions in their physical bodies, or putting marks upon their flesh as a sign of mourning for their loved ones who had recently died. But the Lord forbade anything of the nature among His people. The incision represented a separation and, in fact, an eternal seperation, in the minds of the pagans. In essence, by the Lord commanding His people to not engage in such activities, He, in effect, was telling them that death, that is if they would faithfully serve Him, did not end it all. In other words, if their loved ones had been in the Covenant, and had Faith in the Covenant, and the ones living continued to have Faith in the Covenant, they would see each other again. To each his own of course, but I prefer not to choose the ways of the Pagans. May God Bless You, John |

11 | What does Prov. 5:15 mean | Prov 5:15 | John Ryals | 230712
Check the relation of Jeremiah 2:13, with this Proverb.
12 | What does Prov. 5:16 and 17 mean? | Prov 5:16 | John Ryals | 230713
"Let your fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. (17) Let them be only your own and not strangers' with you." It is insensible for man to turn from Wisdom to folly; from the Word of God to man-made religions. The "stangers" once again refers to false doctrine, false apostles, and idol worship. All of Chapter 5 in PROVERBS, I believe concerns warnings against the providers of false doctrine. |

13 | Cremation after death? Go to heaven? | Ezek 37:4 | John Ryals | 228397
Genises 2:7; "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." I,m not as formal or educated as most, but if God did this, I beleive He can do all! We can use all of the Philosophical wisdom we want too, but the truth of the matter, God Created! The term. 'Jew' or 'Jewish', was tagged to those that were from the tribe of Judah, Correct? I only find the term "Jewish found once in the Bible; (Titus 1:14). Were the Galileans, from the Tribe of Judah? Just a curious question. The term 'Jew' was applied to a member of the kingdom of Judah after the separation of the ten tribes, Is this correct? John |

16 | What do Matthew 20:1-16 mean? | Matt 20:16 | John Ryals | 228163
Hello Dr. Hawk, The Lord is teaching Grace here, which means that we do not obtain Salvation from Him by merit, but as well, it speaks of Israel and the Church; the Church although last, will receive just as much as Israel, who was first. No man has the right to make a claim on God because of merit. It must all be by Faith in Christ and the Cross, [Rom. 3:20-31]. The Church was chosen last, but will be first, because Israel which was chosen first, rejected the Lord. May God Bless You, John Ryals |

Let me apologize if I offended you but this is type of thread is the very reason I chose to sepearate for a while just a few months ago. This type of Confrontation discussions is the fuel Satan needs for seperation of Love betwewen Christians! So I will excuse myself again and Pray for direction from the Holy Spirit. But remember this brother, 'The Greeks seek wisdom." Don't assume you know all and others do not! May the Holy Spirit Guide You!
20 | Exactly what does Mark 15:42 mean | Mark 15:42 | John Ryals | 228178
I'm 'THE PEOPLE' which entered the Wednesday note. I have considered, ('when the women went to anoint Jesus on the first day of the week,'); which would have been Sunday, Correct? Have you considered Matt. 12:40. If it would have been Thursday at 3:00 p.m., ('The Cruxifixion'); then that would have only been, two days, that Jesus was in his tomb. Matthew 12:40; "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth." This is my reason for the entry of Wednesday being the day of The Cruxifixion. Our 3:00 p.m. would only be three hours before the start of the Jewish Thursday at 6:00 p. m.. I believe I'm correct in saying their days start at 6:00 p.m. our time, Correct? If I am misunderstanding what time of the day their day starts, please provide the correct information, so I may recalculate my entry of Wednesday being the day of Cruxifixion of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May God Bless You, John Ryals |
